Street Fighter is dead? SFIV was a great game, and it sold really well. How is it "dead"?

Crash Bandicoot totally defines my childhood video gaming experience. While Super Mario Bros was the first game I ever played it came out years before I was born while Crash came out in my generation and I loved Crash and I still do.

Oh, many. For me, it was the NES. The first game I ever played on it was Super Mario Bros. 3.

Then later on, I became a Zelda fan when I played the first zelda on the nes. And later on, Kirby's Dreamland.

For me, i'd have to say either Zelda or Mario.

Probably Sega Genesis, and later Saturn.

Sonic? Third one was my favorite. All the Spider Man games, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat...and Vectorman. Vectorman was pure win. I had this one called Kid Chameleon that was pretty sweet too. I never beat it. I emulated it on my laptop last month, and I still suck at it to this day.

On the Saturn, I had fighting games mostly. My favorite was an anime fighter called Guardian Heroes. Pretty cool story line, multiple endings, plenty of carnage...I miss that one.

Super Mario RPG.

This game shaped me more than any other I can think of. I would spend hours staying up trying to figure out how to beat the boss. Me and my dad would always backseat play with the other, which was a good bonding experience. It was the game that got me into RPG's, which is my favorite genre. So, yeah.

When I was really young my older brother and I would often play Super Nintendo or Nintendo. We would play Zelda or the old Mario games. After a while I really got into the Super Nintendo phase and loved the games Vegas Stakes, Super Ghouls N' Ghosts, and Chrono Trigger. I also fancied Metal Warriors and The Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse on Super Nintendo. My dream machine would probably have to be the Super Nintendo by far!

For me it'd probably be the Genesis. Though, honestly, I didn't own one until quite late. But, I remember playing Lion King on the Genesis at daycare. Beyond that I remember playing DOS games on my dad's old computer.

And Zork... Zork was awesome. (I could read at three, which helped a lot.)

Mario games,
Kirby Games,
Pokemon Games.

Yes. All of them. But only stuff on the gameboys. I grew up on gameboys.

Edit: Forgot my Sonic the Hedgehog games!! Love those.
Oh, and I`m not sure exactly, but the mario games must have the yoshi ones mixed in with `em.

Also! PC games . . . there were none. Wait, I lie. I played this really fun construction one when I was really little but then lost the disk. Oh, but I did play one . . . it was, like, Monkey Island or something? It was fun, and actually a floppy disk! It amazed me . . . other than that, I played the reading rabbit ones and others that were educational and stuff. >.< I actually find them fun . . . Wait! I also have the best game! Blues Clues! That`s seriously one of my favorite games! I`ve finished it at least 20 time, and still love it.

Sonic the Hedgehog.

I remember when I was like 3-4 my brothers (One is 10 years older, the other 11) had Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles for the Genesis. I would play these all the time, never getting past like the 3rd boss, and only occasionally the 2nd.

Megaman also, since I would play Megaman 3 a lot, but not as much as Sonic.

Good question.

I will go with LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth 2. Its probably the game I played most. I spent endless hours perfecting my strategy of camping. It would piss people off, which was typically the idea I always had in mind while my archer picked off there forces from over my walls. Twas quite fun.

For me it would have to be 'Sonic the Hedgehog' the first one. When I beat my older brother on that game for the first time I will never forget, he just started at the screen for a long time then laughed saying "You finally beat me, your getting good!" Good memories, the game that got me hooked into action match games is 'Street Fighter' the first one and for scary games was 'Resident Evil' the first one.

The Macross side-shooter from the Famicon. It's quite a challenge for what used to be a wee me, but a much much easier shooter considering that there are the likes of Radiant Silvergun and Ikaruga, which came eons after Macross BTW. I'd like to say i'm very good at side-shooters (a genre notorious for its difficulty) and i would like to credit good old Macross for it.

When i became a bit older i would first encounter what continues to be my favorite game EVER - Monster Rancher 2. From time to time when i'm not busy and in the mood, i still play the game, raising a monster or two and stop after maxing their stats - only to get back at it after some months. I've had that memory card containing my original game file for more than a decade now. I would like to convert it (the FILE not the game, i already converted the game) so it would be usable for the more portable PSP, i just don't know how.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I used to play it for hours and hours, plus, even though it was old, I loved it more than any other game...Oh, and Super Mario 64. I could beat Bowser before I could run, 'nuff said! And those games steered me to RPG's like Final Fantasy. In my opinion, VII beats the rest. Not because of storyline, but because of the dedication Squaresoft (Square Enix now...) put into the series. It had about 3 games, a movie, and a short anime episode titled "Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis". Sure, other titles might be "better", but this one had a lot of planning and work put into it...And there I go, rambling again. x__x;

Mine would be the first ever Mario Kart for the Super NES. It was the very first game I've tried. My dad had no one to play balloon battle with so he handed the second controller to me. And so began my love for video games.
