Does Grimmjow Die in the Anime?

I've done searches on this but it seems it's a debate. I've also read on the Bleach Wiki that his death is uncomfirmed. I've read that he doesn't die in the Manga, he just "poofs." I need help on this. >.<

And I don't want to sound like a fangirl here. He's just a fav. :'3

No I don't think he dies, hes one of the coolest espada. I think in some later episodes way way way later hes going to come back and betray Aizen, its not like hes really that evil more just a bit pshyco

I was thinking where he had gone too. (When Nnoitra came and pushed Grimmjow down, Ichigo saved him and started fighting Nnoitra. Then Grimmjow just vanished and wasn't anywhere to be seen). But I think that Grimmjow is still alive and that he will come help Ichigo and the others and that Ichigo&Grimmjow will become that kind of friends, where they do not like each other,but has some kind of ...respect?

He was one of the cool Espadas, together with Ulquiorra and Nell (which isn't Espada anymore). I wanna see if the Primeira Espada will be cool, because I am kind of disappointed with Hallibel.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but even though they didn't show him dead, that was a fatal wound. He's most likely dead.

Seeing as most of the Espada who fought against the Captains or Ichigo during the first Hueco Mundo Arc die. It would be cool if Grimmjow does survive, but it is very likely that he doesn't. I mean what makes him different from all the other Espada that died during that Arc?

We don't know if he's alive or dead. The last time he was seen in both the anime and manga is when Nnotra pretty much cuts him in half.

Of course, this is Bleach we're talking about, so being cut in half doesn't guarantee you're dead. But is he dead? Probably.

After he was "cut in half" he was still alive(it was shown) and Nnoitra wanted to attack him again,but Ichigo saved him. There must be a reason for Bleach creator to make Ichigo save Grimmjow. Damn I want him to be alive :(
