Sad, but true. Watching romance anime makes me feel lonely, mainly because I've been single for a couple of years.

It kind of does, but it also makes me feel warm and hopeful for the future. It makes me wish and dream. ^_^

Well i cant say it makes me feel lonely, but after the series is finished i feel depressed

Yeah it sometimes really gets to me, espesially if they like get together in the end and one dies, or they like eachother but they never get to be together.

Depends what kind of romance; Fruits basket type romance, no. Clannad type romance, yeah.

It doesn't make me feel lonely, but it does get to me in the end more or less. Pretty much what Return of Ryushin said. How come most romance anime are like that? Movies more often than not tend to have happy endings, with some exceptions.

i don't feel sad nor lonely but it teaches me how to love a person more and to know my own self in some ways

It doesn't make me feel lonely, but it makes me wish life was more like an anime. It's always so sweet how the characters love each other.Life is sooo much more complicated....

It makes me feel sad, but not lonely. I am often sad, because I want one couple in the end, but it is always another couple :(.

It makes me wish I had someone to have a whirlwind romance with. I don't know if I'd want a Boys over Flowers romance or a Gravitation romance, but it would still be awesome.

I guess I'd agry with Brandandy. Reality is much more complicated. Watching romance makes me sad, when I realize that such kind of relationship can be seen only on the screen.

It makes me feel very sad at times. It also makes me feel hopeful and excited for the future. Sometimes I even think that...it'll happen to me someday....>.> I'm a dork right? lol

Nope. If its a great series I go, "Dang that was an awesome series!" If it sucked, "Dang I want those 12 hours of my life back."

So true. I envy anime characters sometimes.

At the present moment, I'm single, but let's say I'm still "resting" from my last relationship, so I can't say I feel lonely when I watch love-love series.

Yes watching a romance anime makes me feel lonel. But it makes me hope that maybe I could love some one as much as the anime characters love each other

No it dose not it makes me feel even closer to my gf the woman I love with all my heart. Though you'll meet someone one day. here is someone out there for everyone.

Haha yes, that's definitely the case when I watched Fushigi Yuugi. It was soo romantic, and I wanted something like that. No luck though, lol.

It makes me expect waaay more in a guy than i normally would.. I mean, the only anime/manga i evr really watch/read is romance and that **** makes me really lonely, yo. I mean, im not ugly..... but i dont have a bf so watching that makes me really want one, which makes more guys not like me. (i dont even kno how that works, but thats just how it goes!)

Yep. CUz girls ALWAYS reject me. Yet I know I can treat them right and be close to the guy in the animes but NO.... I'm never given the chance.
