arg been working on this for like a week, I have started over a couple times... Hmmm I dont know what do you think I should do to it...

this was the first time I tried using a costum brush, grunge brushes, and a real picure in the bg.

That's an awesome wallpaper. My ownly problem is the dimensions... 1216x973? It really stretches across my screen distorting the Wallpaper. My resolution is 2048x1536.

Is that fan art? I've watched the series up to the latest episode, 61, and she's nothing like that :-P

Spartibus - Hmm I have never heard of anybody running their desktop at that resoluton you must have a 22+ inch montier I doubt your going to find any walls that size.. Yea its fan art probably when she is 20ish not 13ish like in the series.

Well I decided that I like this greyscale back version the most I think it gives it more focus and im pritty happy with it. I know its kinda buisy....

I have no knowledge of Naruto and so...that character just looks wierd to me.

But again, you got some craz backgrounds going. I always wonder how you guys put all that stuff in the background. Clip Art? Is their sites with tons of these backgrounds on them? Totally wierd...

I like the bg and that funny looking character..her tongue is sticking out is she possessed? Anyways, believe it or not I only seen the first episode of Naruto. umm yea it's a little too busy for me of the symbol that she has floating around. But other than that I think it's good.:);)

Great wallpaper, I love the image of Sakura. I've never seen it before, where did you get it from?

I have an 18 inch EV910 monitor.

The resolution on the first wall was pretty wierd to me.

Most wall's I've seen follow normal resolutions like:

640x480
800x600
1024x768
1280x960
1600x1200

All of these resolutions stretch across my 2048x1536 perfectly.

lol sorry if this sounds confusing.

Anyways, <3 the wall :-P

I like both wp. Nice concept, good bg. The character seems to me i bit blurry.

Good job.

Spartibus, its an issue of the aspect ratio (horizontal to vertical). 1216x973 is a 5:4 aspect ratio, like 1280x1024 (which you would likely have the same problem with). The resolutions that you mentioned are all 4:3. If you want to use a 5:4 wallpaper, just stretch it to fit horizontally (locking the aspect ratio), and then crop off the top or bottom (or bits of both) to fit.

4:3 is the traditional monitor aspect ratio, but many new flat panels are locked in 5:4 native resolutions. Also, some people think 5:4 looks better... I used it for years (1280x1024) before messing with 4:3 (1280x960) which I now think looks slightly better. I still make 1280x1024 wallpapers though; I just center or tile them when I use them.

As for the wallpaper, its really cool. I would consider killing the two larger instances of the swirl character that have the green on them, particularly the one to the right of Sakura (I think they stand out a bit too much). Other than that, its pretty awesome, and I love the background work and the colors.

all the tiny swirls take away a bit from the character, so I would tone them down a bit. Other than that, it's nice! i <3 the picture
