My brother is obsessed with these games. I see him playing two the most though (but I don't know what they're called). One is nicknamed Bullet Hell and the other is some fighting game that reminds me of King of Fighters and Marvel vs Capcom (because you are like a tagteam of 3 fighters). He's not bad at both.

Touhou games are curtain fire side scrolling shooters, aka Bullet Hells, along side two fighting games based off a similar system of dodging bullet patterns and attacking.

And you should annotate at least the series number before the game name in the poll; some people can only identify the game by the Japanese title, others only by the number.

Well, other than buying them I'm sure you can download them somewhere. I'll ask my brother later, but I have a feeling it has something to do with 4chan. But you'll want to beware, 4chan is referred to as the cancer of the internets. Anon runs wild and moderators (and even Moot, the superadmin) are laughed at.

The BulletHell community has been around ALOT longer than 4chan, but it's not like you see anybody running around talking about Gigawing or Metal Black anymore. God help me if I can find some proper progear, sky gunner or even raycrisis fans.


It's really a form of games that don't make it to America since the "Final Days of R-Type" a couple of years back. ( You can laugh hard since we did get an R-Type afterwards:Turn based ,broken and bittersweet.Aside from Castle Shingigami , what other vert shooters have gotten besides remakes of remakes?)
