Umm, where did you get these meanings?

Sado for sadism? You know that the SA is another reading of the kanji for CHA which means tea...

I'm pretty sure that's not what Ichigo means. Of course, I don't remember what it means anymore, but I'm pretty sure that's not it.

Shinji means common. Hiyori means monkey. Orihime means weave princess. Yasutora means peaceful tiger. Ichigo means strawberry. That's all I know.

Ichigo definitely means Strawberry, Legend. I'm guessing because he's a red head? Though Carrot-top would have been more appropriate. ;)

I knew Gin = Silver (what Gintama fan doesn't?), and Karin I believe can also mean Beautiful (or is that just Karen?).

I believe it can also mean "pure".

I have gotten only full meanings of the word. Of course it can be translated differently. For example if you take two different characters from the world. Example: Ori and Hime.

Yes, but when they tranlsated "Kamataichi(in the figth where tis Uryu and Orihime vs Jiroubo--Jindanbo's brother)" in the anime it meant "the ultimate" and in the manag it meant "sickle weasel." So whomever translates Bleach may be lying to us fans. I know "ichigo" means strawberry "ichi" means "one" and "go" means "five."

"Hime" means "sister' I belive. I don't know about "ori." But does anyoen knwo the translation to "Uryu Ishida" or is it just a given name?

in many of the subs and even the offical sub and dub i can quote ichigo as saying his name meant

ichi- number one
go- protecter

so number one protecter

but yes ichigo also means strawberry which is the vizard Mashiro's nick name for him

(mishiro eing the eccentric green haired vizard XD)

Woops... My bad. Cause another translation for "My-Hime" is "My-Otome" and so I thought "otome" meant sister so I thought "Hime" meant sister. xDDD

I like most of the names. In a way they explain the character's traits.
