What do you think will Yugi be so powerful duelist that isn't Pharaoh?

I think he wouldn't be so powerful without Pharaoh because he isn't experienced enough and Pharaoh is true duelist, he can predict other moves as well he is strong enough to not to lose.

Yugi defeated Atem at the end of the series, so he has proven himself worthy and is stronger than the Pharaoh.

if you read the pilot manga you can see that the pharaoh was so good at the shadow he was able to make others think they can win when dont have a chance in hell. not just card games any game even ones made up there on the spot.

Well it is true that at the beginning Yugi was not nearly as good as the Pharaoh but later on in the series he gets a lot better and at the end he ends up beating him in a duel/
