Theme: Manga


Rules and Guidelines:

1) No campaigning for votes in this thread for your own or any other Wallpaper. Any posts of that type will be removed and the entry will be disqualified. Similarly, do NOT post negative comments regarding Wallpapers you’re not voting for. The idea is to have each individual decide on their own favorite without any undue outside influences.

2) You are entitled to vote for any wallpaper submitted in this competition EXCEPT your own. You are voting for ONE wallpaper, and please state a reason why you voted. Voting for a wallpaper using multiple accounts will result in votes not being counted.

3) Not following rule 2 will result in your vote being deleted unless otherwise edited.

4) Any reference to subjects like missed deadlines, entering, not entering, are NOT tolerated. It provides a clear indication of who may (not) be involved in the competition, while potentially 'giving away' entries. Disclosure of wallpaper author, be it yours or another participants, will result in BOTH wallpapers being disqualified from the competition and or disciplinary action.

I vote for D. It still fits the theme for me but is still pleasing to look at and looks like the creator put effort into it. I really like the background that contrasts against the completely white manga character.

Anyways, Entry B, because I think the colored bits look really good in contrast to the bits that are not colored. And its a very energetic wall.

I like the collage style of it, and I like Inuyasha. I like the pictures they chose.

Similar to A, but better composed. And it's more creative. Even though it's manga, it's still colourful ^^ Impressive work there.

Entry B - The coloured parts really stood out and I thought that was quite unique.

I think the execution of this one is pretty well done. Really like the idea of it.

i choose Entry D because of the person that they choose and the background matches the person perfectly.

I voted for D. I like how the character on the left draws your eye towards it, and the words in the background give it a sort of 3D effect.

I'm going for Entry D as well. It's nice man, there isn't to much going on it's very soft and very perfect. And the character is a good focus.

I am voting for B. It's the most sharp in appearance. And the color is a nice touch.

B, defintetely. Very abstract, fits the theme, and looks like it came from a manga. xD

D, the words in the background makes the character stand out. Also cause it is rather stunning.

Entry B, the spurts of colors here and there were enough to relieve the eyes from the starkness of black against white.

It seems it has deeper meaning. It makes one feel lost in her beauty while her spoken words just flow around in the air unaffected (at least that's my own visualizition).

Besides it looks just fantastic and is drawn really well.
