So Hakkai?

Hakkai from Saiyuki, was he at one time human? Because he was bathed in the blood of a thousand demons. I am a little confused about that, cuz his power limiter is that ear piece of his, but right after he killed all those demons, he had one on:confused: how did he get a power limiter so fast unless he was already a demon?

It's been a while since I've seen Saiyuki, but I do believe he was a human before.

Hakkai was indeed human at one point, before he went on his murderous rampage (although it was justified). I'm not sure how he got the power limiter so fast, though.

Oh yeah, he was a human. A teacher or something. But I've always wondered about that rule. Bathing in the blood of a thousand demons...could it be because it happened all in a day that he turned? Must be, since they seem to be whacking about 50 to 100 demons per day. I begin to fear for Sanzo!
