Initial D wallpaper. Why not?

This is a recent wallpaper that I made

I like it a lot, but because of it's simplicity It was declined from goin in with the others. I can understand that, but I still want to get an idea of why there's a hate against simplistic wallpapers.
I really really hate wallpapers that have a lot on them, and just kind of seem like too much, and I can't think of anything to do with this wallpaper that would make it "too much" in my opinion.
Maybe I'm just weird with this, or whatever... but I just want some opinions. I'm still pretty new at this, so I understand there is a lot to learn.
I just personally like the simple compisition of this wallpaper.

I agree with you about the simple walls, but I think that your wall is a bit too simple =)

Yes, that is the exact reason. It is just too simple. I have nothing against simple wallpapers, but so many of them are submitted, that we have to look for wallpapers that are above simple, that have just a little more to them. This looks like something that can be done in less than 5 minutes in Photoshop to be honest. You should really try more effects out.

I agree, i could try out a few more things, I'm gonna see what i can come up with, to give it a little more of a unique feel to it, without losing the clean look.
