I have been unable to find a thread on this Visual Novel adaption Anime. So apologies if this has to be moved/closed.

But yeah I'm currently watching this Anime and am on I think episode 11. So no spoilers until after that episode :D

I think this Anime is fantastic! Art-wise storyline wise and just everything wise. I've already cried like twice! (Yeah I'm a softy) . :laugh:

Just wondering how many AIR fans there are out there?

It was pretty good, a bit in the same genre of 'kanon', don't you think? Better though. Though it really wasn't my kind of anime, I thought the art was incredible and the characters too were pretty nice.

I haven't seen any other Visual Novel's other than AIR actually. Although I know their very similiar. I love the art, it completely blew me away! . By far the most lovely of Anime's (To me anyway) ^_^

I'm on episode 6 (I'd be farther if I hadn't had so much trouble locating episodes) but I think this Anime is great, too.

The art as to be the best if seen so far and the plot is amazing! I love the story line a lot and the characters are awesome, too. It's nice because they aren't those sort of flat 'I've seen this personality before' type of characters. I've seen that a lot and it gets tiring after a while.

But, yeah, I love this anime, too!

I love Air! It's actually my favorite anime. I've watched the series, movie, and read the manga. It's really a great series.

Both the movie and anime make me cry at the end. It's a really lovely series. It's very peaceful, and the art is really beautiful. This series may seem a little confusing, but in the end I think it comes together quite well. Some may like this series, some may not.

He has every episode on there, and the qaulity is actually pretty good. It's by far the best video site for the AIR episodes I've managed to find. God all that time searching and I realised that the videos were right in front of me. xD

Hey, thanks! I was looking for them all over. Finally found a site that had a decent version of the episodes but you could only watch, like, 72 minutes a day. I'll definitely check out this site.

I mean, once I can watch anime again :( ...

Yeah also I enjoy watching on YouTube because when you put it in HD mode the Animation looks really really nice. I just finished episode 11 and boy it was a sad one!!! I really miss Yukito's presence though.

I really love air. Kanna is my all time favorite character I think.
The story line was just soooo touching in air. I love Key's work. Brilliant. I'd recommend their work to anyone.

Well, I'm happy to report that I was able to save up enough to buy the whole series on DVD which also included "Air in Summer" (is that what it's called?)

So, now I have no excuse to not watch it :)

I just got mine from a local movie store. They have tons of anime on DVD. It's Suncoast or Best Buy. Is there one around where you live?

If you liked Air! the the other anime created and adapted by Key will blow you away!

Kanon and Clannad have (in my opinion) better quality of art and creation and more interesting story lines, but Air! is awesome all the same. Put it this way, Kanon, Clannad and Air! are my 3 favourite anime of all time (out of about 40 titles). :D

AIR, wow, I haven't watched that for quite sometime. If it weren't for AIR I would have never watched Kanon or Clannad. If you liked AIR, Kanon and Clannad are really good. Especially Clannad. I have the Visual Novel's for all three of them ^_~

Agreed. Air is good, but Clannad and Kanon are even better.

And I don't think Air is THAT similar to Kanon like some people say, although they have lots of characteristics in common.

I wouldn't put Kanon and Air as my favorites, but Clannad is certainly #1.

Air is my favorite anime of all time. It's such a sweet and compelling story, and in my mind, Misuzu's/Kanna's story is the most tragic of any character ever. Also, the music is simply mind-boggling.

I have AIR Visual Novel installed but haven't touched it too far since I'm to busy crying over Clannad and getting scared with Chaos;Head, however I will dedicate some time to first finish the VN, the proceed to the anime to see how much they changed stuff over the VN (which happens to have eroge scenes o.o)

I am a big fan of the animations of "Key".

I watched several animes made by them and liked it (esp. Kanon, Clannad & Air)

Honestly, I believe that Key can create wonderful characters and animations but there is always something missing in their stories.

Air is one of the anime that I found very interesting but the ending wasn't what I really expected. I thought that it would be a wonderful climax but it let me down. Nevertheless, I still find this anime (and all anime made by Key) amazing and touching.

i have very mixed feelings about this show. A lot of the character designs baffle me (over-done hair, every female character looks like a mutant, etc). I really really liked the main character, so sucks for me that he randomly transformed into a crow and was pretty much taken out of the picture. No explanation given either

in fact that happens a lot in this show. its like "whoa why did that happen? oh just accept it and move on? ok!" pfffft! i saw it to the end and sincerely hope the visual novel and manga are leaps and bounds better presented

When I first watched this anime I was confused. Now, looking back, it makes more sense. I loved the plot and everything!

Air is one of my fav animes because of the very indepth story it offers. The first time through I was a little confused but after watching it a few more times I can truly understand the story now and it all makes more sense. I only tell people to watch air if they can truly pay attention to every detail in the series.
