"sore o kotei deki nai" I was seeking a translation for "you cannot fix it". the previous japanese statement was what i found. could you tell me if it is correct.

It all depends on what "cannot be fixed". If it's a thing, it would be something like;
それは直せません (sore wa naosemasen)
Which literally translated means; That cannot be fixed.
lol 固定 (kotei) means stationary or permanent. For example, 固定客 (kotei kyaku) "regular customer", but in English you also say "fixed". Like; 固定資産 (kotei shisan) "fixed assets".

Anyone can translate " You can't fix this" as in something is broken.
