Before I begin I must say that i do LOVE Toradora. However, I was wondering if anyone else thought that other than the beginning few episodes and the most recent ones, the part in between has been rather slow?

Also, does anyone else think that Ami, although quite an interesting character, is very annoying? Always coming out with random speeches like riddles and instead of explaining to the other characters what she's talking about she just walks away, it makes me wonder why they bother to begin with lol.

I just got done watching it (all the episode) and i got to say this is one of the best romance/comedy anime i have seen thus far. I would really suggest watching it I'm sure you all will love it

Spolier Warning!

I definitely agree that it's a great anime, the kiss in the last episode in particular was very sweet =)
However the ending i thought was rather bad, I hope there's a second season or Taiga leaving is just pointless.

The last episode was...okay. But completely predictable.

For a series that managed to set itself a bit apart from other romance current romance series, the ending was about as generic as it gets, minus the promise for marriage.

All in all, two things would have made it better:
1) Kushieda getting Takasu in the end. It would have stuck with the original intent of the first episode, but also have been a bit surprising. In addition, Taiga would have had to realize she can't always be dependent on Takasu.
2) Ami should have played a bigger role...she was all set to. After the trip to her beachhouse, she basically wandered the background unless she was making snide remarks to Kushieda, or being BAAAWWWW over Takasu's inability to realize how she felt...which was entirely her own fault. Basically, she had the potential to bring more drama to the series.

I thought the characters were pretty unique! I don't really think Ami is annoying, she just has her own way to expressing and doing things. The ending was rushed and totally glossed over her problems with the situation though. )'8

Taiga's leaving did actually have a point but it was left untold. In fact she went to stay with her mother for a while. It was mean to show how much Taiga has grown and changed that she doesn't run away anymore and faces her problems.

Taiga looks so cute in the sailor fuku!

Just finished it last night before bed. Loved it front to back. YAY PALM TOP TIGER lol, I had a feeling about her. Now I need something to fill the void, thats what I hate about killing a series soo fast. I get deeply into it, marathon it and then its all over....sad panda :(
But I would highly recomend this series to anyone whos into the high school anime scene with all the drama, plot twists and emotion you can stuff into 24 episodes lol.

This was just such an incredibly heart-warming story. I didn't find any parts of it to be slow at all, because of the way each episode was thought out and self-contained. It seemed somehow that each and every episode had something which totally moved me by the time it ended.

This was probably my favorite first-run this entire winter season, alongside of Soul Eater and Skip Beat.
