I submitted some widescreen wallpapers, but...

Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I've had a small collection of anime wallpapers I made myself for a while now, and for some reason I didn't think to try putting them up on a site like this until recently. Anyway, long story short, I started submitting them about five or six days ago but haven't received any e-mails in response. I'm in no hurry of course, but is there a rough amount of time I should expect to wait before hearing back about them?

Additionally, is it realistic to ask if I can re-submit some of them before they get added to the database (assuming they are good enough)? I made a couple of minor fixes recently. I know we're only supposed to submit a wallpaper once, so no big deal if I can't.

Anyway, if you guys can help with these questions I'd appreciate it. Also I'll see if I can jump on here tomorrow and upload those wallpapers in this thread. Thanks!

Here are the three wallpapers I've submitted, after refining them a bit. Feel free to download them or let me know if you have any advice for improvements.

I've been following a theme of strong, independent women in anime, as they tend to be my favorite characters. :p I also have one for Ryoko from Martian Successor: Nadesico, and one for Saya from Blood+, although I think they need more work. Maybe I'll put them up next, anyway.

P.S. I did all the extractions myself. Most are from screenshots, although I think a couple were extracted from other wallpapers.

Usually Serated reviews the submissions meticulously. At least that is what I hear, don't worry I'm positive that someone will get back to you soon, just remember that patience is a virtue.

Oh, by the way, you can actually post unfinished wallpapers in this very forum. The obvious advantage of doing that would be comment and suggestions on how to improve your wallpaper. I'm not going to go into that right now because this thread doesn't deal with this. There is no approximate time to wait for confirmation whether your wallpaper was accepted or not, it depends on how busy the moderators are I suppose.

And I think they WILL tell you if it was not accepted, because they did that with some wallpaper of mine when I forgot to put animewallpapers.com on them. They will also tell you when it's accepted by PM here at the forums.

Yes, you can always resubmit wallpapers if they are rejected. And unlike what Jose says, I dont exctly reject wallpapers based on their looks, I get rid of things like duplicates, or completely unmodified wallpapers. But if your looking to improve, it is always in your best interest to post around here and get the critiqued so you can improve on them, and then resubmit them later when you think they loo better.

You obviously got some weird choice in women, lol. I cant say I ever cared for Ichigo's sister much, but I do like the wall, lol. I also like the appleseed one as well. It's a very good use of those scales of orange.
