Kuroshitsuji???

Hii everyone! just joined the forum yesterday and first thing i did before anything was look for the kuroshitsuji thread? to my dismay :( i couldnt find anything (or maybe im just using the search thingy wrong :p). anyways im sure we got some sebastian fans out here? Anyone else agree, this bad butler's giving the nine-tail fox a run for his money?:cool:

lol, Sebastian is like the perfect person/butler, devoted to his job, assuming he's human, which i doubt, in which i see words like ''I am a demon and a butler''. But i think it's pretty good.

This is a good anime/manga until I start to see the fujoshi crowd around it and spam below me "Why aren't all men like Sebastia/Ciel?!"

It's a good shota, but I still can't say that it is good since I hate the opening.

unfortunately its just the song, couldn't find the actual op for some reason:unsure: , and i believe it shows some clips from the first ep. so for anyone out there looking for a new anime/manga series i totally recommend it.

Hmm, I'm not sure about the soundtrack, I only have the OP and the EDs.
But yeah, the anime is pretty good, I love Ciel's attire, so victorian >< *squeals*. Oh yeah, the undertaker is funny..xD
But is it just me or does this show have no distinct bad guy. o_O For instance, Grell is supposedly the one who killed Madame Red, Ciel's aunt, and many other young women, but he seems to be tagging along like a neutral and even comical character. And the fact Sebastian is a demon, but shows his gentle side towards Ciel when he's hurt and depressed.
Furthermore, the angel, by logic a pure and innocent entity, seems to be the insane antagonist.
Somehow I think the point of the show is to create contradictions.

Sebastien is an awesome character. He really gives off the feel of a devil, with his smug air, lack of care for most humans, and his desire for that one soul which really interests him. You can feel that he's beyond the emotions and frivolity of humankind.

I just loved this series in every way... I love the atmosphere, the characters, the themes, and the story.

Okay this is gonna be really random and long.. but bear with me if you are a true Kuroshitsuji fan!




Do you know what Moe Tournaments are?
It is a tournament where you can vote on your favorite characters!
It originally started from Anime Saimoe Tournament in Japan, (fyi, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anime_Saimoe_Tournament) and the 2009's Tournament has been already started! (fyi, http://www.internationalsaimoe.com) But all they have is female characters, which we as girls often times not interested in.

But no worries! There is another tournament in which we can participate too :) There is another one called Best Moe Tournament in Korea, which holds male character's tournament in winter and spring, and female character's in summer and fall.
So in conclusion, currently, there are 8 characters remaining and competing starting from today, and there are both Sebastian and Ciel on the round! I am just so proud that they made their way up so high, but as a fan of Kuroshitsuji, I really want them to win this game!

It is simple to participate too. Go to http://moet.anizone.net/index.php?lang=eng, and cast your vote to your Kuroshitsuji characters! On the right side of your screen, you'll see

After that, it'll let you know the code is successfully copied into your clipboard. Now go to the tournament website and login!

Once you login, you can check your delay time and Korean Standard Time in the top right corner.

My delay time is 22 minutes as you can see, from logging in before several times. The delay times are reduced two minutes per a login. So you might have to wait for an hour in your first login. That is a long time, i know, but you can still do your internet surfing or facebook or IM or whatever you want during that time. You can even turn your computer off and come back later!

After your delay time, go to the voting place, and you can see today's match! Today's is Sebastian vs. Hijikata from Gintama. I personally am a fan of both anime/manga, but I decided to support Kuroshitsuji on this tournament. So anyway, click on the vote, and you'll see..

I don't know if it's only me that has Korean display for this page, but remember how Sebastian was the first choice in the page before? So click on 1 and click the button which says "Vote" in Korean.

Then you can see this appearing on your screen. It is not an error message or anything, so don't worry. It just says that you have successfully voted on your choice, and you can just close the tab.

You can cast only one vote per day, and there is only one match per day in this level. But there are still more to come!

There is tomorrow's tournament in which you can vote for Ciel too! The time written on each tournament is in Korean Standard Time, so you might want to check the KST on the top right corner and make sure you don't miss your chance to cast your vote.

The winners of the each match will proceed to the next level of the tournament, so your participation is priceless in this game! There are so many cases in which the characters have won in a landslide(ex. Ciel's victory against L from Death Note by only around 30 votes, one of the matches in the past were only 1 vote difference, etc.) So, every single one of your vote counts!
Both of the Gintama characters who are competing with the Kuroshitsuji characters have exceeding numbers of fans; especially Hijikata finished the past two tournaments in the second place. The only chance for Sebastian to proceed and win the 2008 tournament is to win this match against him!

I'm not sure if the soundtrack is out yet, but you can find the songs from it easily on youtube, the soundtrack is made up of

In the anime there's a distinct bad guy- erm- girl- uh, actually transvestite let's just go with villain >_> Yeah it's the angel

Not too sure about the contradictions, the manga description is something about Sebastian trying to be a perfect butler, not so much defeating a specific villain, though defeating certain people is probably part of the job description.

I don't want to spoil it too much so I'll leave it there

I know, the atmosphere is just amazing. I love how dark and old it is. (I've always been in love with that era). The characters, the outfits. It's all just so amazing.

And the MUSIC. The music that plays throughout the series is brilliant. I love this one song that plays during the sort of sad parts. Like when Madam Red dies.(She was a fantastic character) The song is simply beautiful. It's very slow, and it's this one woman's voice singing. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yeah, the anime has ended

But the manga is still continuing, the anime strayed so far away from it though, you'd have to read the whole thing over, there were only a few things from the manga that happened in the anime that weren't changed, actually, only the first five episodes or so.

I have read Kuroshitsuji for a while now, and I got to say, that I love it.
Sebastian is definitely my favourite. So handsome, so talented... and a demon. Perfect.

I love Kuroshitsuji, I was surprised when I saw this was the only thread about it. It is awesome, but it is still kinda new I guess, maybe it will take a while to get off the ground. ^_^

This is great! I came here thinking, "I bet no one will have a thread on Kuroshitsuji *sigh*...." But I was happily proven wrong!

Kuroshitsuji sure is pretty intense. I have seen the anime, but my two main bookstores just haven't gotten the manga yet. I'm disappointed in them =|

I really do like the anime. It's very... Interesting (poor word for it >< can't think...). It's filled with that strange but capturing mystery between Ciel and Sebastion. There is also a very nice um...undertone(I think?) of humor. I like the style of the anime very much.

I waver between Grell and Ciel being my favorite character. When I heard Grell sing in the anime, I think I almost died. I was like, "Well that settles it! I like this kid!"

But then I looked at Ciel and was like, "OHMANOMG!!!" 'Cause, well, Ciel is just adorable...And he has amazing choice in clothes.
