Kinda me, but I can tell you now that, if you're refering to the "Turn Back the Pendulum Arc" that's not a filler, it actually takes place in the manga...

when does that arc happen? I thought I was up to date on the bleach manga.

It happens just after Aizen, Kaname, Gin, and the top 3 ranked Arrancar arrive in Kamakura Town. It was in the manga last spring. It's a short flashback arc that focuses on the origins of the Vaizards. After it ends, the fight between Soul Society and Aizen & Co. begins.

Actually, though episodes 204 and 205 are filler (continuing from the 'new captain' filler arc) they are quite funny - especially the 2nd one, which is seriously worth watching (fanservice ahoy!)
