ok, i have a question. i want to watch this anime buuuut...
could someone explain things? how many seasons/episodes/ .... there are and things?
BTW, did someone fansub it?

There's actually 14 episodes to this anime. In the english version, there are 13, but only because the first episode is regarded as episode 00. The japanese version has their episodes all over the place, meaning that they're not in chronological order, whereas the english version is. So I suggest you watch it in english.

what is SOS? - is that like the second season or a different anime with same characters?

No, SOS is the name of their brigade. You see, Haruhi starts a whole new club at their school, and she names their club the SOS brigade. It stands for "Sekai o Ōini Moriageru Tame no Suzumiya Haruhi no Dan", which translates to "Haruhi Suzumiya's Brigade to Greatly Enliven the World".

You should watch, though. It's hilarious.
