It's a manga made by clamp, creators of Cardcaptors Sakura and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles,

the story line is simple and it's just a summary I'll give you.
From Clamp no Lumiere:

Hanato Kobato is a cute girl who has a mission: fill up a mysterious bottle she carries with her in order to grant her wish. For that mission, she's counting with Ioryogi's help, a little blue dog who seems very cute but who has a terrible foul mouth and bad manners. Now, Kobato-chan has to heal the people whose hearts are wounded. The only problem is that she doesn't really know how to do it. The more people/hearts she heals, the more her bottle fills itself. She only needs to take care to not fall in love with the person she's healing.
For what purpose Kobato needs to fill that bottle? Who sent her for this mission? Will she succeed?

Just proof that anything CLAMP writes will get animated. I read it when it first came out, sub-par at best, lost interest quickly.

not necessarily, I won't against what you think of it, because bluntly what I've said before in this discussion thread, not to interact if you had no interest, I'm sure you had some urgency to join some how, but good for you.

Clamp would not be where it is today for it's large variety of mangas and all interesting plots and all different concepts and genres. Sure Kobato is not the brightest in the bunch, it's just a simple story they had in mind, it's light hearted, innocent story line, not for anyone who wants to read complicating, entersting plots including details, I have an eye for that myself, but I think in my opinion the style of Kobato is something to relax and enjoy with it's innocence and humor, and it's something I would call a slow drama, if people don't like it, good for them.

I'm looking forward to this. I followed a few chapters in the Japanese Newtype and I thought it was interesting. :3

I should probably find & read the English scanlations before I watch it though. ^^;

My little sister seems to love Kobato. There's already quite a few series for me that come out this year I'm waiting for but I might watch this as well. ^^ I like simple stories, not too huge of a CLAMP fan as my sister is I just happen to really like xxxHOLiC and the later chaptres of Tsubasa.
