Just some old drawings and sketches I did. Some range back to around a decade ago. I know I sucked at drawing back then and have improved a little bit. I will submit newer work later.

Hi, you have very nice artwork, but I need to let you know I removed a few images because they were too explicit *censoring* one part of the image doesn't make it appropriate for this site, as it is aimed at all ages. Please be thoughtful of this when posting your art.

Thanks!

Sorry about that I will be more careful with what I draw then. Too bad though since some of the drawings you removed were some of my newer ones, although the evangelion one was about 9 years old.

I colored in one of the drawings which is one of my most recent posted on here. It was drawn in 2006.

cute! I like how you put the bubbles that become relevant to the topic of "anime drawings and the techniques"...
(*sigh* yes I can draw folds...) <-- very nice

thanks!

I did that becuase someone from another forum was making boasts about how my folds on clothing sucked and how he can draw much better when he didn't even post his own work to begin with.

that reminds me.......good thing I didn't put anymore detail into the graveyard picture or it might have been removed along with the other drawings lol!

I am starting on another sketch.
I like to show my progress through.
I like to draw a basic structure to use for my characters.

Didn't try vectoring on this piece becuase I was too lazy, which is why the lines are still messy.
Might add some more layers and shading later.

not sure if it's still ok to post this. I put censor bars and that should be enough. Becuase if she was wearing a swimsuit it would show just as much if not more.

Stile having trouble finding the right colors I want before I put any more detail into the background.

plz, plz.....use the attachments if you're going to show large graphics. Consider the people with slow internet. T_T; <-- asian internet suxors.

All I have to say is, you need to refine your works a bit more. SAI is one of my favorite programs (and still using it), and blend promptly. D8
Add darker colors, use the color theory to make it better looking.
Also shadow and anatomy needs a bit of work. Even if I prefer male anatomy, I'm still ok with women anatomy.
Don't forget that you can change the lineart color, which I like to do, if the picture calls for it. If you're aiming for a painting style, don't do the lineart. Just paint over it and refine, add details.

Good luck, and PLZ for the love of all that is art, place large pictures in attachments! ;__;

Yah I will be adding my dark shades of colors but I need to figure out how much of an effect do I want to have the sunrise create. Once I know that i can lay out the shading.

I haven't blended it either since like I said I am just laying down the foundation. I am not very experienced on creating a good sunrise effect.

And I am not sure if I will go with the painting type style. I have it on vector so if I don't want the lines then I can remove them.

Thanks for the constructive criticism.

oh and I will try to place them in attachments.

I know that you wanted someone to critique your work. I think you are doing fine. When you go from where you were 9 years ago, it shows great improvement. I don't have a lot of room to comment on because you are doing as well or even better that I. I like your work very well. I can also see that you are using a graphics program, that is so cool. Unfortunately for me, my work is on poster board size. So I am still trying to figure out how to get it to fit on a scanner. I was thinking about using a digital camera and just taking a picture of it and going that route.

Keep up the good work and keep at it. I appreciate you abilities and might even refer back to them as examples for myself.
