anyone saw it :D this is by far the best Gundam Series out there better than 0083: Stardust Memory... i dont know if its better than Zeta though since i havent seen that series. So guys any thoughts or Opinions about the series
Smile-san, you're lucky you refered to Zeta Gundam that way so as to save a mighty scolding from yours truely.
Gundam SEED was indeed a good series. Note the use of the words good not great. I must say that the ending was awfully disapointing and horribly rushed. Had they have not wasted so much time on useless episodes and clip shows. <center><table size=50% border=1 bgcolor=black cellpadding=3 cellspacing=3><tr><td><font color=white size=1>Spoiler:</font><font size=1>(select below, to read)</font></td></tr><tr><td><font color=black>(After the "Death" of the Desert Tiger they wasted nearly 4 episodes where nothing is achived before the Archangel docked at orb, setting the scene for Nicole's death)</font></td></tr></table></center>. But still sadly it was not a very good follow up to Turn A Gundam.
But still it was worth all the downloading time I invested in to watch it.
7.5/10
And as for the favourites:
Favourite Character: 2 Winners, Yzak Jule and Natarle Badgiruel
Favourite Mobile Suit: ZGMF-X13A Providence Gundam
Favourite Episode: 49
And on the topic of comparison to other Gundam Series, heres my list of favourite Gundam Series. (that which i have seen)
1.)Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam
2.)Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket
3.)Turn A Gundam: Called Turn A Gundam (Yes that is the series full title)
4.)Mobile Suit Gundam
5.)Mobile Suit Victory Gundam
6.)Gundam F91
7.)Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team
8.)Mobile Suit Gundam: Chars Counterattack
9.)Mobile Suit Gundam SEED
10.)Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory
11.)New Mobile Report Gundam Wing
Gundam SEED was a dissappointment and overall bad series in my opinion. I haven't watched all the series SGI has, but my list might go quite the same way. except that wing and 0083 would be somewhere in the middle.
The first ten eps went by well but I began to hate it after that and watching the eps began to be just skipping the seekbar through in a minute or two. Too much *sob sob* and stuff. Just the same drawingstyle of characters as in Scryed wasn't enough for me to like it as much as Scryed. I didn't watch it to the end so... eh.

i must at admit that it had way too much flashback episodes and the ending was kinda rushed my fav. episodes are 48 and 49 which gave me a rollercoaster ride on emotions which somewhat redeemed the series for me thats why i rank it over 0083, if it wasnt for those 2 episodes 0083 would still be the best for me. as for SGI's list Turn A, Zeta and ZZ are the only gundams I havent seen so far. Also I have greater apreciation of War in the Pocket than I did bef. maybe because I'm older and wiser compared 5 yrs. ago :D

As a non-Gundam Veteran only seeing 4 complete Gundam Series (Wing, 08th MS, G-Gundam and Seed) I must say that Seed is one of my favorites. Not because of the "compelling story line that had so many twists and turns it was interesting" but I must admit, the series did have that certain factor that made me want to see the next episode just to see what was going to happen. Yes, the ending wasn't that good, but when are they ever?
Bottom line.....Its worth at least seeing once just to see what the hype was all about.

SEED was an impressive series for me as i thought it was similar to Scryed. Nonetheless, i was impressed with SEED in being able to keeping using a well known series and being able to mix it up in a good way.
i do agree that the ending was a bit rushed, but dont get your panties a wad, a second series is apparently scheduled to come out. =D

Bandai Visual has announced that Gundam Seed DVD volume 13, scheduled for Japanese release on March 26th, will include a new, 5 minute long epilogue OAV.
Well it looks like theyre borrowing off the Turn A Gundam epilouge idea. Which was an excellent idea if I do say so.
