I have been taking photos for about 6 months now. I've been playing lately with HDR photography and here are a few I have done:

Those photos are so crazy looking. They look like they're not sure if they want to look like real life photos or an illustration. It's really cool. It's like my brain doesn't know what it is.
^___^ super awesome

Thank you! It's a long process, but I think they come out cool. I basically run a bunch of filters in Photoshop to get the effect. Also, each shot is a composite of 3 to 7 images. I am still learning it, thought.

Your hdr shots are really overdone. The first one would probably be ok if it was processed a little less, but boring pictures in HDR are still boring pictures.

It's called 'baking' and it's a well known art form of HDR. Look into it if it isn't too boring for you. It may open your horizons a bit before you judge.

I've seen plenty of those 'baked' HDRs, if by 'baked' you mean extremely compressed dynamic range to the point everything is just mid-tones. Composition is not something you should disregard in this art form.

Composition is part of the form, taking areas that would normally be overlooked and bringing them to life. Obviously the form is not for everyone - some people just don't get it or appreciate it. Just like cubism or other art forms. They are not always appreciated by all. Thanks for your conversation.
