Something i took. Just some plants, some flowers and i edited one of them into black and white, though i don't have the original copy up yet. I want a canon camera, not a digital... ;_; Can never take good enough upshots. As my photos are all located on Flickr... Hmm. So i have to put links here. ;_; sorry.

I really like the abstract one, what did it look like before you photoshopped it? Blooming of dawn is nice too, I like the angle.

I didn't use any software to edit them... those are the pictures... Raw. Just like that. They look exactly how they looked when i took them. :)

Unless you're talking about the flower. It wasn't any software anyway. o_O; Just switching the contrast to the opposite extremes. And its photoedit... ( pretty retarded editing tool on Mac )

Interesting work - some of you first links though are broken.
The abstract photo is an interesting modification - the effect of a black background is called low key and you can achive this in camera without editing with some practice. I don't know how much control over settings you have with your camera, but the best way to achive lowkey is to have a fast shutter speed, shoot with flash on and also to have the background for the shot as far away from the subject as you can - then you shoot the shot.
The fast shutter speed means that the background underexposes, but the flash adds enough fast light to the forground (subject) of the shot to bring out the details.

Some of the pictures were deleted. Bummer. But I did like the fourth and last pictures. Especially the limes.

(The second and third links are broken.)

Impressive, CV. I don't have much to say here, nor do I have complaints about the pics. I like the pixel quality, angles, lighting, and setting of them. They're very nice for a simple botanical theme. ^^

Oh dear. Why didn't you tell me earlier!!!? ;_; Fixed now. The camera i'm using now has poorer pixel quality, so i'm not exactly -very- happy with it...

-longs for a dslr still- But i'm still glad you liked my photos. :]

Wahey!
Another fellow fan of photography or nature!

I really like how the sunlight comes into effect in "Beauty in death".
I think it would've looked better if the light was more to the right, or as if it was coming from the top right corner.
The caption "And then the mosquitoes bit me. " is just way funny.

"Leaves" is really pretty.
The contrast in shades of green is just beautiful.
=)
