For all I know, you could have taken those images, shrunk two of them to identical size, pasted them onto the larger picture. And hey, maybe the eyes were already like that.

But then we'd be suspicious of everyone's wallpapers, right?

Still, the two smaller images just look copy/pasted. Work on that.

Also, make it bigger.

well all i did was put the eyes on naruto and take the lines from his face for one. i didn't make the face or the background as you can tell. i dont know how to though.

Pretty cool wallpaper, if I was to rate it, I would give it a 7/10 to a 7.5/10, good job, a little word of advice is to make it a little bigger.

great concept, but i wish you'd make it bigger. maybe you could blend the images better so it wouldn't look cut and pasted. i dunno, maybe place the 2 smaller images along the lower border instead so they wouldn't cover the middle naruto's hair? anyway, just my :twocents:.

peace!

Great Job for the eyes but the 3 narutos wallpaper dont look good like that , what i recomand is u make 3 strips with one above the other with just the part of the face with the eyes would be a lot neater and look mort sort out and refined :)

BTW : Im comin back to make some wallpapers get ready !! here i come :P

theclinton

I'm sorry but it's horrible.
I mean, anyone could do that if they had photoshop and went to the internet to figure out how to manipulate a few things.

Also, it's out of proportion and it's not even wallpaper sized...at all.

You really are gonna have to make it at least wallpaper size.
And keep the amount of focuses to one.
It helps keep the noise level go down.

the thing is your right and anyone could do this and i made this around the time i started learning about photoshop but i still like it

In art, you must accept peoples' criticisms no matter what they are pointing out. Criticisms can get offensive sometimes, but it doesn't matter, you must take consideration, otherwise you will never ever know what you did wrong, and never improve. For myself, I've taken many criticisms no matter they are good or bad, I take them as advice. If people happened to be offensive, then try harder, that's how artists are suppose to be.

yeah, the main thing is that you like it

Sorry, but no. I disagree with you, because it is NOT all about "as long as you like your own work", well who doesn't?! There are other people here to look at the artworks, they have the right to judge and tell you what they think about your artworks. If the artist only draw things that satisfy him/herself without considering about how others might think...umm...that's not what I would call successful. Honestly, It think we should give some ideas on what needs to be fixed on the artworks to show how much you care about that person and the artworks.

Anyway, back to the topic. As far as I know(although I don't have much experience with wallpapers). The normal wallpaper size would be 1024x768 or 800x600. The bigger the better, because if you convert a small size to a bigger size, the wallpaper would look blurry. If you can make a bigger wallpaper, it is easier for you to convert to smaller sizes. The eyes aren't bad, but it is the matter of the size, the wallpaper is totally squished down and it's killing Naruto.

Since you're a beginner in using photoshop, you should ask those people who have experience with photoshop for advice.

Dude; THAT IS NOT HOW YOU MAKE A WALLPAPER.

You have to be mostly original with your creations. Wallpapers are not made by just slapping on a bunch of images together on a pre-made background. You have to use effects and loads of other resources as well. And it takes a lot of patience to make a nice one too.

In your case, I see you've just slammed in 3 pics of Naruto and a pre-made fire background. The proportions are all distorted and the image is anyway too small to be a wallpaper. The standard size can range from 800x600 pixels to even 1600x1200 pixels. That's a lot of space actually. Lots you can do to your creations that way.

I know I'm being harsh, but believe me. This is only to help you improve. I started off this way too. But I got WAY better. It took me a while though. 3-4 years to be precise. So give it some time.
And for goodness' sake, ask for some people who are good at walls for any sort of opinions. That way you'll know what your stuff really looks like. You won't get stuff like "oh, yeah. It's real good." or "WOW!! It's awesome. Wish I could do that".

Good luck ^^
