What do you see Light as more? An antagonist or protagonist? I can't decide because on his good guy side, he's trying to make the world perfect_on his bad guy side, he's killing people. What do you guys think?

Both. That's what made the MANGA good. Not the anime.Too rushed. When Mello and Near showed up it ruined the you don't know if he's the good guy or the bad guy,the main guy or the secondary character.

The Protagonist is the MAIN CHARACTER of the story, regardless of whether he is a good guy, or a bad guy, therefore, Light is the Protagonist, L is his antagonist since he is against Light.

Keep in mind though that L could've been the main character too.So..

In the anime, at least, more of it is shown from Light's perspective. How will Light outfox L next? We know little about L in comparison, and the Death Note and how Light uses it are central to the whole story.
L is constantly trying to find out Kira's real identity, and Light is working to stop L from discovering that he is, in fact, Kira.
Light is an anti-hero, a sort of tragic protagonist, as I see it.

protagonist is the character the story focuses on, so light is the protagonist. some people might think of him as righteous, but i don't see anything good about killing people based on their ego, so he's a bad guy in my opinion.

I don't even think he's anti-hero because even anti-heros eventually do some good. He's more of a straight-up villain protagonist.

No, Light is definitely the main character he is the focus and is all the way through the story making him protagonist.

bump!!haha What’s the problem? An elderly man was sitting on park bench in tears. A police officer came up and asked him what was wrong. “I have a 25-year-old wife at home . She is beautiful, charming and madly in love with me.” “So what’s the problem?” “I can’t remember where I live!”--------------------------------The WoW Power Leveling ( World of warcraft Power Leveling ) site offer buy WoW Power Leveling (http://www.powerlevelingweb.com), cheap WoW Power Leveling (http://www.igsstar.com), free wow power leveling (http://www.wowgoldweb.com), 1- 70 level wow power leveling (http://www.sf10001.cn) and wow power leveling (http://www.powerleveling-wow.com/siteMap.asp) news!

Antagonist and protagonist do not mean evil and good. A protagonist is the main character, and the antagonist is a force that creates a conflict with the main character, or protagonist. Light was the main character, the protagonist. L, the antagonist, created a conflict with him. Does that make Light a good guy? No. Does that make L a bad guy? No. You can't look at Death Note and think "Who is the bad guy and who is the good guy?" because they're really arent any 'bad guys' and 'good guys' in Death Note. Death Note is in the middle. It is up to the viewer to decide whose side they're on. That is why I like Death Note, it toys with your mind and brings out unwanted sides in your personality through sadistic mind games.

YAY SADISTIC MIND GAMES!!!
