Greetings to all, from a n00b with a silly question. :p
I am currently in the process of designing a personal web page that will include, among other random fun things, a detailed list of my favorite manga. I have read, and thoroughly enjoyed, the five volumes of 'Revolutionary Girl Utena' as released by Viz Media (second edition, to be nerdily specific ^_^). What I want to know, for my website, is how many chapters/installments there are in the original five-volume series 'Shojo Kakumei Utena', disregarding 'The Adolescence of Utena' manga. In the Viz Media releases, the entire volume is just one chapter, with the exception of the origin and some bonus stories. I find it hard to believe that this is the way the series was run in Ciao magazine, and that the actual unique installments are run together. (Of course, I could be entirely wrong on this, and if I am, please correct me! o_O)
From my research (which is limited at best), 'Revolutionary Girl Utena' ran in the Animerica Extra anthology in "installments" from Vol. 4, No. 1 through Vol. 6, No. 11. Assuming that these installments are the same as the chapters appearing in Ciao, that suggests 35 chapters (plus two new bonus stories that were made to fill out volume five). Am I on the right track? o_O
If there is an exceptionally knowledgable and generous person out there, perhaps he or she would even be willing to share a list of all the chapters in order, with the volume it appeared in and the chapter name, if it had one. But that wouldn't be for use on the web site - it would be only to sate my curiousity. ^_^
