Berserk......TV series?

I got a question if anyone can help me......i've seen episodes 1-25, but can't seem to find any others.......episode 25 ends with a HUGE cliffhanger, and I wanted to know if maybe the series was cancelled? or maybe second season put under a different name?:ninja::banghead:

As far as I know, that's all they produced...25 episodes...
The wikipedia article mentions that there was supposed to be a 26th episode..and it was cancelled due to budget problems...
Now, I can't understand how one more episode can:
1- Mess up the budget.
2- Provide a conclusion to the great Berserk plot...

that being said, you should probably check out the manga...

that's the end of the berserk anime, if you go watch episode 1 again it can sorta be a next episode =p

anyway, the story continues tho, but you will have to read the manga ;)
