Isn't it a bit childish to have a pinned topic about how Kikyou is dead?

First of all, there are a lot of characters that die in Inuyasha.
Rin
Jaken
Kana
Kagura
Bankotsu and friends
Myoumaru
Many other demons
To discriminating against Kikyou seems like anti-Kikyou sentiment to me. This is specially apparent when she had to be removed from polls, which contained dead characters, for being dead.

Second of all, the reasoning behind it is stupid.
We know that Kikyou dies from the first 10 minutes of the first episode in the anime. If you are upset for someone saying "I wish Kikyou was dead", get over it. Her first death wasn't enough for them, so what makes you think her manga death will change things?
Besides, the "death" which she goes through in the manga is a spoiler for the many anime-only fans.

Third of all, the series, like many other series, has many abilities yet foretold.
It's ep 1 and she's dead for good, but WOW, it's ep 15 and she's back with a clay body.
It's ep 124 and her clay body fell into shouki, but WOW, Kagome finds her and saves
Rin dies, but WOW, Tensaiga can revive people!
Revival from death isn't uncommon in the series and to say it can't happen anymore is premature.

Now as we come near the end of the series, it's no telling what may result in Kagome's wish. It could possibly restore Kikyou and Inuyasha's past and send Kagome back to the future for all we know.

While nearly all of what you've said here is true, and much more, the thread for it was to try to get people to stop whining about her being there at all-when she isn't any more. No one whines about the other aforementioned characters nearly 1/20th as much as they do Kikyou.

There is one thing I have to disagree with however-and that is the spoiler for the Anime-Only fans. Contrary to popular fan-based belief and rumors...There will be no more anime after the manga is complete. So-that is probably the only way the "Anime-Only" group will ever know what happened. It's thier choice whether or not they read it-but seriously--they aren't going to find out for themselves any other way.

Then it should have been unpinned when people CONTINUED to whine about Kikyou, which was done numerous times.

If it was such a problem that said moderating was necessary, then whining about Kikyou itself should have been punished.

However, it really wasn't a serious problem. It was just an annoying thing that couldn't be helped, EVEN WITH the tantamount Kikyou hatefest thread. Thus it should be unpinned.

It's not a spoiler in a sense that it will spoiler any future anime, but that it will spoil the manga for the those who haven't read the manga (which is what I meant by anime-only).

Or-you could just leave it alone-and pretend it's not there yourself...It's not hurting anything either. ::shrugs::

And well, see that's the thing. Nearly all "anime-only" people will not read the manga. Most of them use the excuse they don't like to read. Though, for that majority I have to wonder why they're even on a forum in the first place, since being here requires one to READ.

But nonetheless, there are warnings about it being a spoiler...And they can choose to read it or ignore it. No point in complaining about the thread's existance, now is there?
