a short anime that lasted two seasons and an oav series.as well as 6 mangas.but it was an awesome show. three young girls named Hikaru Shidou,Umi Ryuzaki,and Fuu Houji as they are taken from Tokyo Tower one day while on a field trip with their own seperate schools,by a young girl named princess Emeraude.in a flash the three young girls are teleported to a mysterious world called Cephiro.they are met by a child like mage named Clef who tells them the must become the legendary magic knights and rescue princess Emeraude.the manga is a little different,but the story is wonderful.let me know if u have seen it and what u thought of it.and who your fave character is.

And to answer the question, I've seen both seasons and preferred the first one, all due to the brilliant ending. The second one was okay, but a certain tall, dark, and handsome character ruined it for me by being boring. Eagle helped to balance it, though ^_^ I love me some Eagle.

Ah nostalgic! ^_^ MKR was my second manga series after Sailormoon! I'm just really mad the stupid anime killed off my absolute FAVORITE character when she did not die in the manga. What was up with that!? Rawr. :banghead:

I haven't seen the second season, so I really can't say that I liked one better than the other. I do really like Rayearth alot though. It's a very good series, and the artwork (in the manga) is gorgeous (I personally think Rayearth is one of CLAMP's best series).
