I so agree. It's one of my favorite shows. All the characters are interesting and mulit-leveled, even silent Saya. And it definitely has superb samurai battle scenes and comedy scenes. You can get plenty of both in just one of Tatsunosuke's practice scenes. I would love to see a second season but I don't think it's going to happen. This show was made a few years ago and I haven't too much about it.

lol, I think you mean "Peacemaker Kurogane." I watched the dub a couple of months ago and fell in love with this show, making it my 2nd favorite anime of all time.

BTW, there is an OVA, it came/is coming out sometime this year.

i love that anime:p
It has lots of actions, drama, comedy and somehow of suspense:)
all the characters had their interesting life and past^^
the plot of the story is very interesting and excited.....like how Suzu somehow becomes friends with Tetsu but at the end he has to fight him....difficult moment>.<

Yeah, that series is really good!! <3 I watched it twice (dubbed and subbed)... VERY good series~!! Some eps would make you cry, and others laugh... also, amazing action scenes.

I thought it's Peace Maker :| Anyway, indeed it was a good serie but should've had more action and less slack off if you ask me :)

My biggest gripe with this anime was the action. It had very little and when it did it was short. I know they were focusing on the story but come on you got to have action scenes.

As you can tell by my name I love that series, but what they should do is continue it. As long as it was, it seemed too short, and the fight scenes were way too short like randomuser said. The only thing I HATED about the series was the main character was in real sword combat ONCE. let me say it again. ONCE!!! If anything, that was what pissed me off.

People who go into it expecting Kenshin action will die from the dialogue. I love this series and the character development is almost unmatched considering its length.

Actually, I think the anime was long, considering the fact that there are only 6 volumes of the "first series" of the manga. They even had filler episodes, and they used some parts of the "second series" of the manga (Saito Hajime and Sakamoto Ryoma don't appear in the "first series". And Kichi Saburo and Maro don't appear at all).

There are 5 volumes of the "second series" of the manga out. But at the end of the 5th volume, the author (Kurono Nanae-sensei) put the manga on hiatus. And of course, we loyal fans will wait patiently for it's return (like we have been waiting for CLAMP's X).

I've never heard anything about a OVA coming out, though... So, they're either just rumors, or I missed out on something.

It's dare I say.....better than Rurouni Kenshin.
I'm a Shinsengumi fanboy.
