New wallpaper of the lovely ARIA characters, posting the non-widescreen versions here since AW.com does not support multiple resolution uploads yet ;_;

WOW!! even the clouds seem anime and there's even the reflection in the water. The characters are so clean. I guess I could never even get to your level. They're great. I love them.

I really like the quality of this wall the most. The characters are very clear and sharp, which is nice. I love the colors, they are very light, but at the same time, very calming and rich. The clouds in the background are a very nice complement. Great wall. ^^

Erm... This might just be on my comp, but the widescreen's dimension is kinda off.^^;
To the wall itself, it's a nice simple theme. Signature Muzonaz style too I might add.^-^

I'm not TOO sure why, but the wallpaper strikes me as boring. Don't get me wrong, I don't question your skill, but there's nothing on the wallpaper that is honestly visually grabbing to me except for what little of the background there is to see. I don't know, maybe you were aiming for a simple piece, nothing complicated, just a simple wallpaper of three friends seemingly posing for a picture on a veranda overlooking the ocean.
On the other hand I'm assuming you brushed the clouds and water yourself and it looks great. Undeniably there's definitely a lot of work shown here, some more detailed work clearly apparent regarding the water.
Good work, I'd give it a pretty high 8 out of 10, even though it's really just not my slice of cake.

You are right on the money. I wanted it to be a blue/white simple wall with a ton of clouds - anything more complex = more chances it'll just lie in my WIP folder for an indefinite amount of time. It indeed looks like they're posing for a picture and that was my original intention. I know I overdid the clouds and didn't bother making a proper horizon - but in the end I think it was good a practice for me, after not walling anything properly for a year.

whoa...even Muzzy's getting professional criticism...
I'm fine with it though. Its beautiful! You gotta teach me how to do those clouds. I'm crappy at them.
Even if you haven't walled anything for a year, you haven't lost your toch. (hey, waitaminnit! didn't you post that bleach wall just 2 months ago?!)

The problem with the wallpaper is that there is no place for the eyes to rest with.. problem maybe lies with the background depth.. the cloud seems like a wallpaper (the character seems to stand on the front of wall/board painted with cloud)
there seems to be no contrast between the bg and the character too.. the color/brightness/sharpness of the bg is the same as the character..
I've read somewhere that a high dynamic range HDR technique is use to enhance the contrast of the object in the photograph at the same time to increase its interestingness. I think this is similar problem. I hope u get the idea as my english is pretty bad...
this is only my opinion though..

No one is perfect :P That bleach wall was made nearly two years ago, just it wasn't submitted to AW.
I made a collage of progress shots I have and a larger crop of clouds, hope it'll be of some use.
