The guy went and learned how to use his shikai, then he learned how to use his bankai, then he got a freaking hollow transformation and he still cant use kidő?? I mean with all that spirit energy the guy would probably blow up a building with a lvl 1 destruction spell. Anyone else wants him to learn it? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kid%C5%8D)

That would be up to him, He should Learn it, Because if he wants to be the best, he would have to learn the most powerful moves, Because in a place where there are many warriors, people fight to get stronger, But no matter how strong you are, there will always be someone stronger.

Unfortunately, Im not sure Ichigo can learn kido. the principle behind kido is the same as when everyone had to focus their spirit energy to create that protective shield to enter the seretei and he had a lot of trouble with that. Ichigo has so much reiatsu that he cant concentrate it well.

I agree with the view points above. Perhaps the author and creator of the anime didn't want him to learn kidou so it makes the show more exciting...what's so cool about muttering a spell and blasting people away anyway?
That would make things so lame! I mean he would have everything how lame would that be!

This is correct. As well as not having the time and experience either. The other Shinigami have to spend something like 50 years in the academy learning it, and even then many end up being mediocre. He is very talented, but I don't think he will ever be a master at Kido.

It would be a waste since he does have all the other powers. His will would be enough to keep pushing him forward to better improve himself. What would be the point if you knew kidou but can't really control your own reiatsu since it keeps growing higher and higher.

I don't think that would be cool
What got me hooked on bleach were the earlierer sword fights with the cool different attacks the swords had. The bloodbathes that were battles. After Kenpachi ichigo learned that sword wave thing it wasn't as cool

You're all forgetting one very important thing. Ichigo is your generic brute-strength shounen hero. Other fighting styles, methods, and tactics mean nothing to the generic shounen hero. So, should he learn Kido? Probably. Will he? Don't count on it.

Why should Ichigo learn Kidou? How could it possibly help him against an arrancar? Kidou never decided any battles.

He's the main character. If he learned it, it would magically work and be very effective. (Pun not intended.)

I think he doesnt need to. Personally, he has the power he needs, besides his hollow form, that would be another factor for him to up on, and it wouldnt really be exciting...
