What is up with Buu?

So people we all must know who Buu is from Dragon Ball Z. encase you don't he is the final supper Villon of the series. I think he is a bit overrated myself. I mean think about the first Buu who hacked out right in frount of Gohan and the Supreme Ki.
Now I guess what I want u all to tell me is what do u think about Buu. Why is he good or bad in the opinionated sense not hero/Villon sense.

Now my thoughts
As I said before I don't really like Buu all that much cause well he just will not die and he is kinda not the world's smartest fighter, no offence to all u Buu fans out there

I disliked Buu more than any villan, and I thought it was a horrible choice for the final villan. It just didn't feel as epic as say, Freeza or Cell.

Buu's past is very weird. He is created the most evil killing machine ever. But when buu was fighting the tall ki, buu noticed he had great ki, so buu absorbed him. Unaware that the more kias he abosorbed made him more good. The fat buu is Good but he only destroyed things because that was the only thing he knew.then when hurcle got shot buu spit up the pure evil buu. The evil buu was stupid and blew back the fat buu's attack which caused the fat buu to turn into candy. and the pure evil buu ate him which turned him somewhat good again. then when Vegeta pulled out the things i buu's body he became a kid buu the original killing machine and with horrable power.Darn Spirit bomb killed my buu.lol

Buu is pathetic, a stupid little fat baby gibberish talking pink thing. He cant talk correctly, its pink, and buu would have been better as like the FIRST villain maybe but not the final one.

The Majin Buu Sagas were the quiet but the enraged anger of the Great Creator of Dragonball Z. Buu is a bad character that has the misfourtune to be introduced, and it just proves that when ever Goku is on Earth, that something must go wrong. Also, Gohan was ment to destroy Buu because he was and is the main character.

Evil Kid Buu is pretty cool.He dominated goku and vegeta and well,if he didnt regenerate all of the time he would have been made tough like a super sayan(difference fills our world :D ).His fat version i lame though

Buu wasn't my favorite character either. And Goku mentioned before, that he had the chance at beating the fat Buu in his SSJ3 form, but chose not to for some reason... I forgot, it's been years since I watchef the Buu saga.

Because he claimed that he wasn't going to be around forever, and he wanted Goten and Trunks to do it, because the Earth is going to have to learn how to do well without him.

Anyways, I love Buu, he's a great character.

It's been ages since I watched DBZ. But if I remember correctly, I hated the buu part of the series. He just seemed like such a stupid character, as StabWound said not nearly as epic as Freeza or Cell. Also not nearly as cool as Vegeta or Piccolo when they were evil.

Kid Buu is the original form with no one absorbed, and he was very powerful.

I don't see what was wrong with Buu. A character with his abilities deserves to be the final villain. He had no material ambitions, wasn't driven by pride or the need to dominate, nothing like that. He was simply put, a killing machine.

Buu was utterly insane and could not stand the thought of someone stronger than himself. He would absorb anyone he could to become stronger. That is Buu in a nutshell - insane with the desire to constantly become more and more powerful.

Just look at what he did as Kid Buu, not his strongest but definitely his most dangerous form as he became completely unglued .. he destroys the earth with him still on it - knowing full well he will regenerate of course.

Even all the power of the universe into the genkidama was not enough to overwhelm him, it took Gokuus renewed SSJ energy to finally gain the edge. Buu kept coming and coming, in many different forms and using many different angles.

And he did not have a chance to defeat him in his SSJ3 form. He was a bit more powerful yes, but he would not have been able to maintain it long enough to destroy every last part of Buu.

And although he was not the smartest fighter, he was cunning. He knew what to do and when to do it, he also knew to absorb the smarter fighters. When he absorbed Gotenks and Piccolo, he was a genius combined with the fighting powers of a Super Saiya-jin 3. Not the greatest combination for the Z Fighters.

He seemed to make me think of those fatsos that take their shirts off at football games and paint 'em.
I still say Buu was better than the similar but vastly weaker monster at the bottom of Muscle Tower (back in Dragonball).
