DBZ episodes.

Why does it take like a whole episode for anything important to happen in DBZ? I mean, a whole epsiode with only stare downs and barely any fighting? Geez! It takes like 32 episodes to defeat one villain, and some things don't make sense!(guess that's the fun in DBZ when things don't make sense). So what do you think?

Because the anime people wanted to make money, and the translators wanted to make even more money. So it got drawn out to the point where one fight lasts not one or two episodes, but 5 or 6.

Those anime people really know how to suck you in and keep you watching... annoying as it is when I watch naruto I know i'll be watching again next week and i know i'll be counting down the days no matter how bad the last episode annoyed me. Same with when I use to watch DBZ.

It's a technique Toei had to use as an alternative to filler sometimes. Stalling. The anime was forced to expand a 15 page chapter into a 20-25 minute episode to either fill the entire broadcast slot, or let the manga get ahead a bit.

It takes 4 episodes for a fight between both fighters in which they don't show their true power yet. They talk and fight some more until they decide to get serious.

Then it takes one or two episodes to charge up the Kamehameha (or Spirit Bomb), 3 episodes to reach the new power of Super Saiyan, another two episodes to show the villain's secondary power or form, 5 more episodes to go into the final form, and 10 episodes for that fight.

Why is this done? So I can make fun of it.

...Naw, I don't hate this show. It's probably done to make more money or something like that.

And you are right, goku takes 7 chapters to run across the snake's path, to kaiosama planet. By the way, this is one of the reasons becouse dbz is so cool.
