View Full Version : Song Credits Corrections

01-11-2008, 09:12 PM
If you found a particular lyric or lyrics on the site that has the wrong song credits please post the URL of the lyrics with the song credits corrections.

There is no real guideline for the wording and name convention but it is recommended that you credit at least the lyricist along with the singer. Without lyricists, there will be no lyrics.

You will not be credited with any song credits correction. Should you wish to post a correction of the lyrics together with the song credits, please do it in a separate thread/topic.

Sorry to have posted a credits correction as a normal thread last time.
I'll use this thread from now on.

Now, the corrections of Mahoujin Guru Guru.

First, current main title "Doki Doki Densetsu Mahoujin Guru Guru" is used to
represent the 2nd season show, not the entire series. So please change to:

Main Title: Doki Doki Densetsu Mahoujin Guru Guru --> Mahoujin Guru Guru
Also known as: Mahoujin Guru Guru --> Doki Doki Densetsu Mahoujin Guru Guru

And below are corrections of song credits.

...Anyway, I'll use just OP/ED next time :-)

03-01-2008, 05:53 PM
Thanks for correction! Now, I'll post rest of OP/ED songs.

You have Credited the wrong person sadly For Hellsing Shine The Person who Did that song Was none other then a Band Called Mr.Big. Hellsing itself even Credits Mr.Big in their ending Credits. Also If you happen to maybe DLed the Song from anywhere you may have noticed if it plays on Windows Media Player it would proboly come up as the Album cover being Mr.Big Greatest hits. Those are just one of many facts i have to back up my claim. :D i hope to see that its corrected Thanks.

Sung by: Mr.Big

03-12-2008, 03:15 AM
Yeah it is Mr.BIG, thanks.

03-12-2008, 07:36 PM
Ya no prob i love that song and when i saw it was done by whoever i was like ehhh? dont think so.... lol:laugh:

03-15-2008, 09:48 PM
This isn't exactly a credit correction but I figured this'd be the best place to put it.
I was thinking Pure Heart should be listed under Final Fantasy VII rather than X. I believe Pure Heart was c/w Suteki da ne which is why it's under FFX, but it would make more sense to be under FF7 because it's a vocal version of Aeris's Theme.

03-15-2008, 11:42 PM
Ummmm no. In the end the song is still under FFX...

What we can do though is to put a footnote.

03-21-2008, 07:00 PM
The artist is Develop=Frame.

The artist is Transtic Nerve.

The artist is Dear.

is by ZARD.

is by Deen.

04-17-2008, 02:32 AM
Not sure this is the right place to put this, but it doesn't seem worth its own topic:

The title of the opening theme to Ever17 (http://www.animelyrics.com/game/ever17/lemu.htm) is currently given as "LeMU ~haruka na Lemuira tairiku~", when in fact it is "LeMU ~Harukanaru Lemuria Tairiku~" (LeMU~遙かなるレムリア大陸~). If you could fix it, that'd be great.

The title is backwards. It should be "Otoko no Ko (heart) Onna no Ko"

I seem to have mistyped the title when I submitted it ages ago. It should be "Hatenkou Robo Dojibiron Theme".

05-05-2008, 05:55 PM
Well, I was organizing my music and I found and error in this Lyrics. Well, it's not in the lyric itself but the one that sings the song is not Yellow Monkey but Animetal, the same happens with the song called "Shukuteki Kenzan!" from the same band.

Hope you fix it ^-^

Ah! Also, Towa no Mirai and Shukuteki Kenzan! are from "Rurouni Kenshin: Requiem for the Ishin Shishi"

Darn, I should have seen this thread earlier... I'm making a sweep of the Yuyu Hakusho (at the moment), Magic Knight Rayearth, Rurouni Kenshin, and possibly several older sections that unintentionally got mixed up during the site transfer.

11-01-2008, 10:53 AM
Actually I can fix it myself with anison.info handy, all you need to do is to give me any translation you have that is better from the one on the site. I'll run through all the Yuyu songs and put them in the right albums as mente(メンテ) - but I don't wanna go to the edit page of the same song more than once.

Oh and could you also put all of the corrections in the same thread (don't need to fill the board with so many topics).

11-08-2008, 08:37 AM

Written and composed by: Kajiura Yuki
Sung by: Inoue Marina

There is also a typo in the translation that I posted, so if you could fix that bit too... ごめんね >_<

The "quite" in the second line of the first verse should be "quiet". Thanks.

This song credits the incorrect singer:

The actual singers are the composers as well: Akari Kaida & Yoshino Aoki.

01-20-2009, 12:22 PM
Oh wow!! I didn't know LockeVanish joined up here. =3

The song credits for this song are all off:

The song was written, composed, and performed by Shiina Ringo.

You have it creditied as Ruri Hoshino (Omi Minami) when the song was actually sung by Yurika Misumaru (Houko Kuwashima)

05-08-2009, 11:06 PM
I don't know where the best place to put this is, so we'll try here.

I submitted the transliteration to this song the other night, but the bottom just says 65430livinginthe. Just wondering if that could be corrected.

05-09-2009, 12:25 AM
Eh wtf happened...

Anyway it's fixed now.

05-25-2009, 12:19 AM
oh...Hi... i just want to make a correction about the name of the singer in ''Rouge no Dengon'' song... because it's not Yumi Matzusawa, Itīs sing by Yumi Matsutoya, nicknamed "Yuming"... Thanks

this is the opening theme to Transformers Car Robot
Sung by: Iwasaki Yoshimi
Lyrics: Kou Chinka
Composition/Arrangement: Serizawa Hiroaki

this is the information posted on the site. I checked her discography and such title does not exist in her works. I found the correct information and would like to submit its corrections

Perfect Chaos
07-23-2009, 11:09 AM

The Song Note section of this song currently says:
"Vocals: Suzumiya Haruhi (Hirano Aya)
Lyrics: Hatake Aki
Music/Arrangement: Shinzen Akatsuki" (<-I knew I read that name somewhere...hence why I was confused with the song Ima made no Arasuji...)

It should be changed to the following:
Vocals: Suzumiya Haruhi (Hirano Aya)
Lyrics: Hata Aki
Music/Arrangement: Kōsaki Satoru

Perfect Chaos
08-19-2009, 02:13 AM

This should replace the current entry in the Song Notes field for this song...

Sung by: Eclipse - Rouge (Tomatsu Haruka), Citron (Nakajima Megumi), & Violette (Hayami Saori)
Lyrics: KK & Fujiseu Mik
Composition: Fujisue Miki
Arrangement: Kusano Yoshihiro

Sexy Sexy is sung by CASCADE (Polydor)
It also says it in the video on the same page.

11-26-2009, 11:32 PM

The lyricist Hataaki for Haitoku no Gajou
(Stronghold of Immorality) is incorrect. Hataaki is probably a misreading (or translation) of Hata, Aki.

I matched the credits in the OST booklet to Aki Hata. (畑亜貴). Katou, Tatsuya is correct as the composer.

Time Hollow

This should be corrected in the artist field:

Composition: Chuji Nagaoka, junichi Yoshida, Masanori Akita
Vocals: Mouse
Lyrics: Hanna Kondo
Guitar: Masanori Akita
Bass: Dominique Chagnon
Drums: Scott Lathem
Violin: Edgar Kautzner, Isabelle
Viola: Mio Wakamatsu, Keiko Sato
Cello: Emi Evans

one of the things in the lyric:
My heavy heart
has seen the truth
no sky will ever clear
they never fade away,
each and everyone

should be:

In my heavy heart I see the truth,
no scar ever heals
They never fade away
Each and every one…

I added a txt with the corrections
and a youtube link for the song:

(Also..um...Hi!..I joined recently, but I suck at introductions, so I will make one in a couple of days...)

12-18-2009, 06:31 PM
All the songs are credited to Bonnie Pink, but it's Tomoko Kawase who sings them.

so, chief character is not Hameln. his name is Hamel (ハーメル).

This isn't really related, but hyde's solo album shouldn't be under the category L'Arc~en~Ciel, rather under his own name.
(Namely the album 666)

And also:

The albums '666' and 'Hyde 666' are the same, this being a duplication.

05-12-2010, 10:30 PM
Though I've seen some sites attribute the vocals of this song to Lia (as it is marked on the site right now), the credits on the CD give the artist as "Veil ∞ Aoi". (You can even see it on the scan linked on the page.)

Also, maybe this song should be under the game listing for Clannad? I don't think it was ever used in the anime version.

06-05-2010, 06:22 AM
For the song Shiroi Ryuu (from Spirited Away) the singer is attributed to Monsieur Kamayatsu. This is...well, it's impossible, since Monsieur Kamayatsu is a man (with a manly voice) and the song is sung by a woman.

Some digging produced that the singer is actually Rikki, also known as that-girl-that-sang-Suteki Da Ne-from-FFX.

06-10-2010, 12:29 PM
I've found that I can't correct my submitted lyrics by myself, so please correct some my mistakes here http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/luckystar/aimainetdarling.htm

1) Change the name ot the song from "Aimai Net Darling (Aimai Netto Daarin)" to simply "Aimai Net Darling".

2) "Description: Webradio Lucky Channel Opening Theme".
Thanks for correction - I just wanted to ask of it, but there should be "Radio 'Lucky Channel' Opening Theme", because it's so on the CD case.

3) Change Song Notes to these please:
Lyrics: Hata Aki
Music / Arrangement: Satoru Kousaki
Vocals: Kogami Akira (Konno Hiromi) & Shiraishi Minoru (Shiraishi Minoru)

4) in lyrics:
"Dadda dansin 「Chotto dake yo...」"
change "dansin" to "danshin";

5) in lyrics:
instead of "Ranrararaiden 「Shirosuno ka...」"
there should be "Ranrararaiden 「Inazuma ka...」"

Thank you!

You can actually edit your post instead of deleting posts.

It's not webradio? Ah well, if it says so on the CD it should be put as that.

Next time please don't use Japanese symbols, it's a mess to put them in the lyrics because of encoding issues.

The two songs above give credit to Miyuki Sawashiro when she has nothing to do with the songs. she is NOT Marina

The 4 songs above are credited to Eri Kitamura when she has nothing to do them. she is NOT LiSa

Please remove the ([voice actress]) from the pages as they are merely the voice actresses that played the characters but did NOT sing.

Not sure if this thread covers moving things into different sections, but Ta-lila ~boku o mitsukete~ (http://www.animelyrics.com/doujin/vocaloid/talila.htm) is not a Vocaloid original. Rather, it's a cover of a song by Nanamusica (http://www.animelyrics.com/jpop/nanamusica), and thus should probably be listed on their artist page instead/as well. Here's a source! (http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%83%8A%E3%83%8A%E3%83%A0%E3%82%B8%E3%82%AB) Here's another source! A correction on "secret sorrow," the ending theme to X: The singer/lyricist/composer's name is not Kenichi Suzumura but is actually Kouhei Koizumi.

Also if it's a character song, should it really be performed by Houkago Tea-Time instead of just the character herself?

If it's in the Char CD what's wrong with that then? HTT is itself an in-char band.

Well since it says "K-ON!! Character Image Songs", "Tainaka Ritsu" and "EDIT: Satou Satomi" and makes no mention of HTT anywhere on it; unlike HTT II.

11-20-2010, 10:48 PM
I haven't grabbed the singles yet since I'm away, I'll look at the credits and amend them myself later. I dunno why she put down HTT in it either.

I was mistaken in a composer's name although it was the songs contributed by themselves.
Awami Goro is a mistake of Oumi Goro. I'm soory.

No credits. So:

Written, Composed and Arranged by ATOLS
Performed by Hatsune Miku

I'm not sure if it's Hatsune Miku Append; Nico says it is.

01-25-2011, 04:32 AM
Above that, can you see if the lyrics are actially structured like that (one-liner lines) in most places?

Magnetic Rose

Vocaloid wiki (http://www5.atwiki.jp/hmiku/pages/11455.html) structures it as such, so I'd assume that that's where the kanji came from. Other sites (http://vocaloidnokashi.slmame.com/e940890.html)structure it differently, but I'd be tempted to say stick to the current format.

Ugh, also this (http://www.animelyrics.com/jpop/utada/arashinomegami.htm), this (http://www.animelyrics.com/jpop/utada/showmelove.htm), yet another (http://www.animelyrics.com/jpop/utada/goodbyehappiness.htm), and this (http://www.animelyrics.com/jpop/utada/cantwaittilchristmas.htm). What is this I don't even --

Written, Composed and Performed by Utada Hikaru

Yeah, they're all the same, but it would be nice to have some credits, at least.

Perfect Chaos

This complete version, sung by all 5 lead female seiyuus, is actually the 5th ED (that has yet to actually play in an episode that has aired), and not the 4th, as each subsequent ED adds another singer, starting with 1 for the first. But the lyrics for all of the versions are the same, so even if it's credited with all 5 seiyuus, I think it's better to just list it simply as "Ending theme" under "Description:".

Also, the composition and arrangement is by "Yamaguchi Akihiko", and not "Kawaguchi Akihiko"

02-20-2011, 06:50 PM
I don't watch IS, but I think this is the single version so I'm guessing all 5 did the song in it, and since we put up full versions, it should be credited that way.

I found a few that are wrong...

"Last In My Winds" on Yuuki Hiro's J-Pop page: http://www.animelyrics.com/jpop/yuukihiro/lastinmywinds.htm
The same song on Weiss Kreuz's page: http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/wkreuz/lastinmywinds.htm
Koyasu Takehito's J-Pop page: http://www.animelyrics.com/jpop/koyasu/lastinmywinds.htm
And on Seki Tomokazu's J-Pop page: http://www.animelyrics.com/jpop/sekitomokazu/lastinmywinds.htm

The real vocals are Yuuki Hiro, Koyasu Takehito, Miki Shinichiro and Seki Tomokazu.

As you can see, the first link's vocals are completely messed up. Somebody seems to have mixed up the cast of Weiss Kreuz with that of Angelique.

I'mma just remove some of those old lyrics since they shouldn't be there...

While I am not correcting lyrics, I am adding missing information to lyrics already on here. The artist to the song "Namikaze Satellite; Wave and Wind Satellite" (the 7th Opening song to Naruto) is Snowkel.
I am currently doing a mass hunt for all Naruto opening & Ending songs as well as the song artists.
Thank You :)

Was hoping maybe there could be more meaningful descriptions for Alicemagic and Haruka Kanata than just "c/w Little Busters!"

Alicemagic is "Komari and Haruka Ending" and Haruka Kanata is "Refrain insert song".

Also realized that I forgot to submit artist info for the rest of the songs I just submitted, whoops!

I double checked the video, and it turns out the LYRICS are by Kazu, and the SONG is by Risshuu.

Sorry. I suppose at least I caught it...?

06-13-2013, 01:51 AM
Uh, so, I initially made a new thread for this and then realized it probably would have been within the scope of this thread. Sorry. >_> Well, the topic doesn't appear because of moderation, so I guess that's a good thing?

The title romanization is incorrect. It should be 'Gekka', not 'Tsukihana'.

In addition to typical use of the kanji compound, I have a few links from official sources for this specific case:

06-15-2013, 08:05 AM
*stabs anison.info*

To think I picked Choco's over Ricchan's over the title...

I'm never gonna trust anison.info for readings anymore -_-

06-15-2013, 08:33 AM
Ah, you have a usual source? I'm not familiar with anison.info, but yeah, the production company should be mostly reliable, and other sites with the JASRAC seal (Uta-Net, joysound, etc) suggest 'Gekka' given how the song appears in sorted lists. I really wish I could find some confirmation from Kimiko herself, or maybe booklet scans...

EDIT: Never mind, booklet scans say nothing about it. ~_~

The version produced for Kotonoha no Niwa was arranged by Makoto Minagawa. Booklet scan: http://i.imgur.com/x4Oxu3p.jpg

The title of this song is actually "Shinjitsu wo Tsukamitore", with the English title "Grasp the Truth"

10-31-2013, 04:28 PM

First word should be "Ubuiro", not "Hatsuiro".
