Tobi is a guy from the Akatsuki! I believe he's the one with the swirly mask thingy. And threw fanfics he seems to speak in third person like he'll say "Tobi is a good boy" when he refers to himself.

But I think the most mysterious person is Sai. He's the guy who takes over Sasuke's position after he leaves Konoha. =^_^=

Tobi is Madara Uchiha, founder of the clan. Or at the very least, refers to himself as such.

Starting out, I'd put my money on Shino, since he gets very little exposure, and considering the strength of the clan, little is shown in the way of their history. That and he's so dang quiet and solitary.

Tobi is mysterious as well I suppose. Not sure what his motive is quite yet.

I would have to go with Kakashi because the only things you hear about him is when they say his father was the White Fang of Kohana and that he was in ANBU when he was little but his history growing up is never really touched upon.....

I'd say Shino because he doesn't talk much at all and you don't hear a lot about his past.Also,he hides behind his coat and those glasses so that makes him seem more mysterious.

I say Orochimaru and Kabuto...but I vote for Orochimaru...why?
Because he is creepy and weird looking...also, his reasons are not so clear, and well he is just pure evil, and just by being pure evil is mysterious... and kabuto, the story does not show his motives of why he does what he does...
