i know this is an anime from the year 2003...i barely watch romance/love animes..but this one i liked very much...i felt like i was watching a Hollywood movie..the story was just great..the ending i liked sooo much..when she started to read the book...]
its been long time i watched but maybe ill watch it again cause its nice ^^
who else watched it and what are ur likings and dislikes about this anime..

and for the ones that didnt watch it...it has 13 episodes so u can watch it any time and i definitely recommend it

It was a good drama but I don't think he should have chosen to get back with Mitsuki. SHE SLEPT WITH ANOTHER GUY! Not cool. T_T

I have no pity for Takayuki or Mitsuki. In my opinion neither should have ended up with anyone. The series itself though was probably the best executed series I've ever seen (after episode 2 of course). The plot was extremely realistic, which is rare in animé and manga and had some real literary value right down to the title. We all wish we could be 16 forever, but we should be careful what we wish for, you never know when you just might get it.

I JUST finished watching it. I'm still crying. My God....

Everyone except Haruka was at fault. That is a constant throughout the series. Even though Mitsuki cheated on Takayuki, he did the same to her with Haruka. Sure, he didn't sleep with her, but he might as well have. He gave up on Haruka but then went back to her without looking after Mitsuki. Neither of them treated the other the way they should have.

When Akane started reading Haruka's book, I felt it really summed up the story well. You have to keep working hard to achieve the thing you hold dear, no matter what happens. Mitsuki and Takayuki both loved eachother, but they let obstacles over come them. They both realized this and that is why they were able to forgive eachother.

KGNE is probably the best anime I've ever watched. I agree with RyougaKun, it has the most realistic plot I've ever seen in an anime.

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, is definitely a very good anime! probably one of the best romance animes, i've ever seen. it was absolutely beautifully written and put together, And it has very interesting characters! and lots of drama. I really liked this anime....I highly recommend it! <3

This has held my #1 fav anime for going on 2 years soon, loved it the moment I finsihed watching the series. Lets see how the KGNE Second Season will end up, if it ties to loose ends as I wasn't satisfied with the ending nor of how KGNE Akane Maniax turned out either.
