yeah...i don't watch it again because i watch it to know who's the winning family....but since i know it now,i won't watch it anymore......

but i too love the fighting scenes......maybe because i love violent shows....:p

I've bought up to volume 3 on DVD. Its been really cool so far but I can't find volume 4 anywhere which sucks. I will watch the whole series once I can get hold of it.

I really loved it,i really liked the idea and animation,fights and everything.A really awesome anime,but i really regret the death of some characters...but i am happy that Tenzen died,in a painful way too >) he deserved it,the pervert >.>

Awesome animation and interesting story, sometimes gross and so cruel! I really liked it. Despite of Tenzen I supported the Iga because of Yashamaru and really disliked the Koga coz of the slit-eyed guy (what was his name???). Only downside for me (like Tenjou Tenge) is all the chicks have oversized boobs!! Why the hell is that?! LOL. Anyway, I recommend it to anyone who likes feudal anime :)

I also recommend the original novel (http://www.amazon.com/Kouga-Ninja-Scrolls-Futaro-Yamada/dp/0345495101) by the author Yamada Fuutaro. Or any of his excellent Ninpocho series. He's the man who practically invented the Ninja genre.

Since I currently have Oboro as my avatar, <.<, I just had to say something on this topic. The action was great, the storyline was intriguing. I especially loved her and Genosuke's powers. Wish it had a happier ending though.

I think it's great.

It's nothing epic - but it's fun and entertaining.
I thought it had somewhat of a ninja scroll feel to it - although didn't quite compare.

Basilisk is cool yes. The manga is visually a bit 'rough reading' simply because of the photos used as backgrounds. They give it a very heavy, but, dare i say it, cheap feel.

Despite that little detail I think both manga and anime are cool. The story's got some nice emotions to it and the fights were interesting :]

I liked the action, and the story was good, but it would have been better if it was just about 2 families fighting instead of deciding who the next heir was going to be.

Yeah it reminds me a little of Ninja Scroll too, but NS was way better. The storyline was good and the characters were awesome!!! But i kept getting confused on the names of the clans and mixing them up!? The ending was ok too....I would of liked to of seen them runaway together or something a little romantic but the series was nothing about romance!!! He he he gotta love the blood and guts though!!!
