Alright time to start it. I'll probaly pinpoint a Co-GM in the middle of the RP, maybe though.
Rules:
-Keep hold of the basic AF rules, failing to do so will result in two warnints, then boot. (Double posting is three warnings.)
-Try NOT to god mod please. If anyone witnesses it, report it. That results in one warning then BAM, gone.
- Try NOT to argue in OPOC, take it to PM. Argueing won't get you booted but you'll get warned and NOT liked.
Alright time to start.
-----------------------------------------------------------
~ It was a heavy downfall of snow, almost blinding eyesight. Aleister was a pacing in the snow as five other men dressed in MFR Winter Military Uniforms carrying the standard K-6b rifle. The little squad headed up to a door. Aleister clenched his hand itno a fisrt, banging it against its rough surface three to four times. No answrer. Aleister singnalled the men to shoot open the door. Aiming their rifles they shot the door until it litereally was nothing. Entering, Aleister saw a man who approached him with a grim look of disgust. Aleister looked at the man, then lifted his leg an thrusted his heel into the mans gut, forcing him to fall back as Aleister and the five others forced their way in further. A woman was spotted off scene whom ran into a room. Looking down as the man slowly helped himself up, Aleister spoke, "Oh, Jaque. You damn soy."
After Jaque rose he went into a stance showing he was ready to fight. "I am no spy. Under what proof do you have to accuse me?"
Aleister let out a laugh then his voice grew more cold and deep, "I have no need of proof. I'm just the pawn of a fist that'll drive you away. I'm the cell to destroy you. Yet you stand thinking you can fight back?" Aleister looked at the squad of men pointing out three, "You three kill him."
One soldier lifted his gun, pointing at Jaque. Jaque made a mad dash towards the soldier, as soon as the trigger was pulled Jaque grasped teh gun, and bullets swung hitting nothing but wood. Pulling the gun away Jaque swung it in response hitting the soldier in the face, cutting his eye. Then shot him down. The other two soldiers got ready for close combat. One drew his combat knife and swung it down hoping to slash across Jaques face and chest. This attempt was futile. Jaque grabbed his wrist, twisting it, and placing his arm behind his back, where he forced him to stab himself and cut to the side out of his flesh. The grabbing the knife in his own hand, Jaque slit the soldiers throat. He dropped the knife looking at the last soldier, whom lunged with his fist to his side. Jaque lifted up his palm to meet the soldiers nose breaking it and forcing the bone into the brain killing him on contact. Jaque turned around running at the fourth soldier but Aleister drew his sword, ran infront of Jaque and thrusted the tip of his blade in between his bottom rip cage and stomach. There was a moments pause as Aleister removed the blade and blood spewed it's way out, all across the floor. Jaque fell to the ground. His face was in shock as he tried to hold in a scream of pain. Aleister lifted his foot 90 degrees and forced it down to make Jaque lie flat on the floor. Laughter escaped Aleisters lips. Moment slater he implaed Jaques head with his sword.
Sheathing it the three made their way to the door where the female was. Aleister knocked down the door by punching through it then using the momentum of his body to burst through. The female witnessed this and screamed. Aleister grabbed her by the roots of her hair throwing her violently on the bed. Before any action was made one soldier walked up next to Aleister. "Can...I have my way with her, sir? This woman is by far attractive?"
"You mean...force your sex rights upon her?"
"Yes."
"..." Aleister drew his custom made pistol placing the barrel to his head. QUickly he pulled the trigger as the bullet forced its way into his skull blasting out the other side, "There is my answer. Lust is a disgusting human instinct. And rape...that is just against my morals. Impudent rookies."
Aleister then drew his blade yet again thrusting it through the woman as she screamed. ~
Aleister came to his senses, he found himself walking down a corridor. "Wh-why did I have a flash back?...Oh well, best move on to meet Colonel."

"Oh.....patrol. Sooooo broing." Daneil found himself pacing along the Innter wall of a Military Base on the edge line of France. HE let loose his gun and let it dangle from his strap as he raised his hands for a stretch and gave out a quite long yawn. RUnning up to Daniel was a fellow soldier, "Dan! DAN!"
"Ahh, Jerald. What's up?"
"Other than the fact we just caught a MFR spy, nothing. Boring old life, ya know?"
"MFR spy? Did they get him to leak out any info on what' they're planning? Do we get to see action? The patrol crap sucks."
"Actually no...the only reason why he is here is to watch our movements to make sure WE do nothing. They have no plan."
"Did they check to see he is legit?"
"Actually as he was brought in forcefully he drew his pistol shooting it, hitting the F17 Detector...but they're bringing up a new one so we'll see."
"Ahh, well that's boring"
Jerald reached into his pocket pulling out a red case of cigarettes, "Wanna smoke?"
"No I don't smoke, I may drink but I don't smoke. Wife would kill me."
After lighting his cigarette and taking a puff Jerald asked, "How is your wife by the way? And your kids?"
"Lucrecia is fine, still gorgeous, and stubborn as ever. And my kids, Elizabeth started dancing lessons, and Alex, just started 1st grade."
"Cute, yeah my wife just signed the divorce papers I'm gunna miss her-"
At that moment an explosion was heard from inside the base. The two men grabbed their guns and ran to the scene.
The Air was cold as the wind of the Highest mountain and as fierce as a bullet. 06 BETA was being transported to Chartres, France Second Column. His mission was to excute any Foriegn disputes of Local spies in France.
SGT. Francia was uploading the Misssion data to 06 BETA's Visual Hud, but The Information was already known to him, "SGT. FRANCIA, this Data is useless to my Hud for I know it.
SGT. Francia looked at him with a grudge look and ripped the wire from the Computer Hud and stepped over to the Other side of the Transporter.
06 BETA could see Land From a distance as he knew, that this wasn't his country anymore...

Charles leaned his head against the wall of the Quantico Army base in eastern Virginia. He didn't want to be here. Who would have thought the army would call in the debt he had made with them before he had even managed to go to college. And for what, standing around on a little base in the eastern U.S.? Bah... all because the good soldiers were called away to France and what not. He breathed deeply. Well, at least he wasn't in the styx having to walk the thin line between life and death. No, he'd just spend his two year limitation leaning against a random wall of a pointless army base in the middle of a wealthy area of America.
Magnum looked over at him, "Any news from the front?"
"How in the nine hells of Aleghri would I be in the possession of such knowledge?" Charles barked back with palpable annoyance. He hated it when people interrupted his reading and right now, aside from the random musing that had overtaken him a moment ago, he was in the middle of a particularly intriguing bit of "Jewish Background of the Gnostic Sophia Myth" a short article from the Novum Testamentum Journal written circa 1978 or so. He was currently learning about how the Sophia/Barbelo character within the Apocryphon of John from the Nag Hammadi text was actually similar to many female figures in Judaic Wisdom Theology. Right now he was reading a passage that state that one thing that similar was their relation to the creation of the sinful material world. In Gnosticism Sophia had what could at best be called an "abortion" or a "miscarriage", a birth without the intervention of a male consort to grant the progeny form and had thus birthed the androgynous Demiurge Yaldabaoth. Which created a trend of female symbolism to Charles eye when taken into relation with another article "Yaldabaoth: The Gnostic Female Principle in its Falleness" which had been written in the same journal circa 1988. Still it was rather early to start drawing to many conclusions.
"Why are ya always readin' those books, Yeshua?"
Charles looked up, responding to the name he had given these people over his real one, "This world is a poor substitute for a mental one. Now shush! There is no knowledge of the outside world I could bequeath to you that you don't already know a priori."
He readjusted the strap to the assault rifle dangling on his back and leaned back against the wall some more. What a dull existance this was.

Lisa aimed her weapon as her eyes changed to a magnifiying glass, her pupil was so wide it almost left no eye white. she smirked slightly as she saw the targest throbbing aorta vein "farewell mister bellveour" she mumbelt as she pulled the trigger. No sound was heard beside the screaming below as mister bellveour dropped dead on the party's floor. Lisa straightend and reached in her pocket, a lollipop came out and she placed it in her mouth after pulling off the wrapper. she disasembled her 44 millimeter gun and placed it back it it's suitcase. Lifting the case she left the small hotelroom, ignoring the argeuing from the couple next door and walked out of the main hall after checking out. France was stil a mess even if the war was over, she merely moved her lollipop to her other mouth corner as a man aproached her. He handed her a small bag and she handed over the gun to have it destroyed, he nodded smiling and left. she watched him go and wondert if the other zero members were stil working as wel or atlist the remaining ones.

OOC: This will be a continuation of my sample post. If you care its at the end of my character creation in the sign-up page.
BIC: "That will be 24 credits miss Myers. Have a nice day." Another client, another monotonous salute and farewell. It was so repetitive. He didn't hate his job, he actually found it quite enjoyable but sometimes he wondered if there was more to life then this. Jake was luckily bilingual. Quebec was still mostly french but the amount of english speaking residents had grown with the years. It was about 11:30 and he was about to go take his lunch. They were currently 4 in the shop. He was taking care of the cash register at the moment because 2 employees were on break while the other was busy cleaning up aisle 5. God he hated kids sometimes.
His father was coming in at 2 and then he would go back home to either read one of the countless books that piled his home which he had started but never finished or he would go and do random stuff on his computer. At 7 he had his show on but until then his night looked like every other night. Until they came.
They were dressed in black suits and looked like bodyguards in the movies. They had the ear piece and the demeanor. Jake oculdn't help thinking that 3 of him could fit in one of them. They were both wearing shades and had slick black hair. Their steps were loud and confident as they approached the counter. "What may I do for you good sirs?" Was Jake's traditional greeting when he wanted to seem interested. They looked around a bit and then looked at his name tag. "Are you Jake Tyrell?" They were so serious. God some people need to slacken up, I bet they wouldn't realize it if someone stuck a stick up their ***.
"Yeah I'm Jake I don't usually wear other people's uniform. What can I do for you?" One of the men pushed on his ear and seemed very interesting in the conversation going on in his ears. Then all of a sudden he seemed to snap back to reality and turned his back to Jake. He snapped his fingers and said: "Take him in." He then continued walking. It took a few seconds for Jake to process what the other guy had just said but when he finally realized what it meant it was too late. He had been swooped off his feet from behind the counter and was now travelling atop the other man's shoulder.
Jake was about to yell out but the man put his other hand over Jake's mouth to muffle the noise. Jake then started punching and kicking wildly to no avail until the other guy turned around annoyed and injected him with a syringe gun right in the neck. Everything became blurry and Jake fell into unconciousness.

"I wanna dance don't ask me I wanna dance... Madam with you~" sang the Professor as he leaned over to Mia and bowed like a gentleman, asking the woman to dance with him by the gesture of his hand.
Mia twitched in annoyance. She should've been used to the constant teasing and pranks by the cheeky Professor by now, but unfortunately she hasn't. With a frown and a loud slap on the Professor's hand Mia scolded him
"Professor! This is no time to play around! If we don't get these files fixed by the deadline we'll be in big trouble!"
"Awwww... Mi-Mi poo-poo you're no fun...." whined the Professor as he cooled his red hand.
"Why do I have to put up with this..." Mia muttered under her breath
"Because you love me! You lurve your sugar daddy doncha?" grinned the Professor as he leaned over to Mia- getting a good close up of her face.
"No" Mia replied in a flat tone, definately sending a message to him that she's not amused
"I'm hurt!" the Professor gapsed as he clenched his chest in dramatic pose, wiping an imaginary tear. Mia rolled her eyes
Suddenly there was a loud knock on the doors. They both looked at each other with a few blinks then at a door
"Visitors, that's new. Mi-Mi, sugar plum open the door will ya?" the Professor asked as he hopped towards his desk and started swaying to Frank Sinatra's voice
"Yes, yes..." mumbled Mia with a sigh as she walked towards the door. Pressing the 'open' button. The metallic doors automatically opened.
"Can I help you?" Mia asked, trying to ignore the music and the Professor's singing in the background

The deep corridors of the Military HQ, lined with gray stone walls of cold seemed to go one forever. The twists and turns of the rock that built the world, the smell of politics and gunpowder could be sensed on and on. Coffee would overtake the smell half way in, but then be overridden by the smell of mustard gas on the morning post war. A black figure crawled down the ceiling so rough yet steady through the darkened halls, his form sliding over the many hooded heads and shaved craniums of the military stationed throughout the facility. Today was surely a good day to die, yet also a good day to kill... One of the few things others thought the figure could do. And boy was it that he did well.
He wasn't blindly sliding through, as if floating by the strings of a marionette he glided at his palms and feet over the ceiling, his joints shifted inhumanly. He had a driving goal or ending point behind the man named Aleister Marskof, the one that had such a vision of death and blood. This blood was the blood that ran through his very essence, this puppet was made of that blood.. The blood of war and shadow. His eye slits gleamed a bright red as he sensed about his position, as if looking directly towards Aleister at a 45 degree angle from his position. But he was silent, no one else would notice and he knew that. No one else but Aleister.
The floor in the servant quarters was covered in a woolen carpet, the boy's toes tucking into the material as he balled up in the corner. He'd wait until he was needed and there he stayed, his large brown eyes and similar brown hair reflecting the little light which floated at the center of the room from the ceiling. There were several other beds about the room, his own presumably closest to the corner. He felt his stomach churn and rumble but silenced it as fast as he could. Hunger and demand was punishable and he so learned that in his year at this facility.
He knew he could get closer to the one he saw, the one that walked away from his house as it burned down with the bodies of his parents.
~Flash back~
-The child arose from under the bed, letting his young and tender yet horrified eyes upon his death mother. Who was once so beautiful was now mortified in a coffin of death-end grief. He dared not look at his father but he knew it would be the same... Shattering of the windows and pops of the various vases signaled the embers of his childhood gone as the house burned down before his eyes, the shock nearly deafening his signals to get to safety. It was then he saw the face of the man that killed them. It was then he swore vengeance upon his head.. it was then he wasn't a child any longer but the weary hand of revenge.-

Charles set himself down by the radio after their shift had ended and turned it on. Magnum came over and sat on the top bunk of the opposite bed that shared the small alcove with Charles own. The other two men sleeping their were on there own shifts else were. Jung Boo Kim and Steven Rogers. The was the melodramtic intro music to the hourly news and both Charles and Magnum craned their ears to try to hear a bit more clearly, not that it did anything.
"We have recieved reports just moments ago of an explosion in the Toulouse Line A group army base within France. We have not recieved any confirmation whether it was caused by an attack by Russian forces or whether it was caused by partisan saboteurs or merely an equipments malfunction. We shall keep you up dated as reports come in.
Moving on to the latest polls..."
Charles sighed and leaned back against the wall and set down the journal volume he had been reading. Magnum looked over at him, "Things are goin' pretty bad out dere huh? I'm glad I ain't the one of da line!"
Charles didn't respond. Magnum was an okay guy, he supposed, but he was kinda dim and got on Charles' nerve way too often for his liking. The young mans real name was John Mangum but everyone just switched the n and the g and called him Magnum. He was a large man, not particularly dextrious or muscular but then that was why he was here at Quantico with Charles. Neither of them would make good soldier. Charles was a genius but he didn't have the muscle or the skill to be a soldier of any calibur. But he was a uniform that the US Army could fill without resorting to of publicity killing draft so they weren't in a position to complain. There was a lot of support for the war, memories of the attack still fresh and the american flag bumper stickers had been busted out for just the occasion but that didn't mean everyone was ready to support a draft. Not now... probably not ever. So for now there were people like Charles and Magnum in the army.
God... he hoped that things didn't get bad enough that he would get moved to the front line. If he did he knew he was gonna die out there. He had seen enough war movies and he was cynical enough to know they were staged to portray war as "heroic" and even they had been awful. The reality of it was probably even worse. Men faces blown off next to you. Bombs going off so hard so fast your brain rattles in your skull. This wasn't those insipid battles of those horrid animes Jung Boo made him watch from time to time, where men jumped and twirled around with swords parrying bullets or fired to assualt rifles simultaneously with perfect aim, all while fighting enemies that couldn't hit the broad side of a semi. No... if people attempted stuff like that in real life they'd get their head blow into two separate pieces.
he didn't want a part of that, but deep down, he knew, when push came to shove, he didn't have a choice.

"Bring him here." said the large man that took up the whole doorway. 2 soldiers in official military uniforms brought an unconcious young man towards the door. They were each grabbing an arm and dragging him to the door. Jake seemed quite young even though he was 26. The man then lifted his fist and knocked hard on the door. A few seconds later the answer came in the form of a professional looking women in a lab coat. "Can I help you?" was what she said. The women seemed very annoyed but it didn't matter. "As a matter of fact you can..."
The man didn't wait and just stepped into the lab pushing Mia out of the way. He quickly flashed a top secret clearance card and walked motioned the two soldiers in. "My name is Lance Torbin of the , I was ordered to seize what we now call project X-9." The two soldiers dropped Jake right next to the Lance and waited for thei rnext orders. Lance ordered them out and they quickly left through the door they had just came through. Lance then faced Mia again. The professor was also within earshot so he started talking.
"This is top secret and must never leave these walls, do I make myself clear? I assume you are aware of the attack on the united states by a group of overly trained soldiers during the third world war. Well 5 were killed and 5 managed to get away. These people were quickly nicknamed project X and each soldier was given a number from 1 to 10. Well we were wrong. 1 of them wasn't killed and in fact has been living up north for about 16 years. We retraced him just recently and DNA testing will confirm but we believe that the young man lieing at my feet might be Project X-9 thought dead during the battle."
Lance took a little pause to let everything sink in before continuing. "I know this is unusual for you but I need you to not only take care of the DNA tests but we would need a map of his memory to see if he's plotting anything. One of my subbordonates will bring you everything you need including a DNA sample of Project X-9. Until then he will need to remain locked up at all time. We have no clue what he's really capable of." Lance dragged Jake to a wall where he inserted these two hooks who drileld themselves into the wall. Lance then attached handcuffs to each hooks and handcuffed Jake to the wall. Lance then threw a cell phone at Mia.
"This cell phone will only call one number, mine. The line will always be secure so feel free to call in the case of anything and when you figure out necessary information. I assume you understand this is not a request but an order. Also it is matter of national security and takes priority on all your other work. Not only will you be payed in consequence but trust me there are advantages for working on stuff for the government." Lance made for the door but before leaving he turned around. "Don't be afraid to call but most importantly be careful. Don't trust the fellow, we don't know what he's capable of and of what kind of deception he can attempt." Lance then quickly left the lab the door closing behind him.
Jake slowly opened his eyes. His head was throbbing and all his limbs felt like jello. It took a few minutes for him to even realize he was attached to a wall let alone see where he was. After his eyes were fully opened and he got used to the light he started looking around. He seemed to be in soem sort of lab attached to a wall. There were sophisticated machines all around. Jake tried to pull hard on the chains that were holding him to the wall but they were obviously not going to budge. He then noticed there were people in the room. More precisly 2 people. There was a women and a professor. He looked out at them and yelled out: "Where the hell am I? What do you want?" Then the thought hit him and he blurted out a last scream: "Don't probe me!!!"

Aleister came up to an office door, brown with open viewed glass. Inside was the "Colonel" he spoke to himself about. The man was old, he wore a dark tinted red jacked over his military uniform. Aleister paused for a moment, his hand nearly grasping the knob. His thoughts consumed him. He wondered why he was being called. Was it time to start the war? Was it info on the angels who literally have fallen? He could only guess. After he gained back concious thought he opened the door, sliding in, and shutting it behind him. He made no salute to the Colonel, he had a strong hatred for him. He was human, he was a pig, he was rude. There was no reason to like him. Aleister just stood there, with a cold dead look within his eyes as he witnessed the Colonel writing. Slowly the Colonels head lifted. "Oh, Aleister. you're here. I thought you'd ignore me like you always do"
"Well I thought maybe your request might be worth the time to see, Colonel." The only thing going through Aleisters mind was touchign the Colones shoulder. Meaning he'd have to kill him. His custom was whom he touched he killed. The thought of sliting his throat excited Aleister, a slight arousment so to say. He patiently waited for a response but was in vain. "Well, Colonel what news about the cloneing and how many bodies were retrived from America?"
"Two, and we're almost done cloning them. Few more weeks now."
"Weeks? And only two. Bah even I could of recovered all five. you're men are pathetic. You all are, feeble. Weak, know nothing."
The Colonel violently stood up, placing his hand on the hilt of his .50 Wolf. "I supposed you know, you're NOT weak?"
"Do I look like you? No. NOw, "Colonel" What the hell do you want? I'm getting sick of you're existence and presistance to taunt me."
The colonel lowered his hand. And let out a sigh. "We might be starting the war. I need you to find some of the Zero-X members. We know of the location of one."
"Find? You let the rest of us roam? What the hell is wrong with you?!"
"They've accepted freelance missions. Well some did. Just find them we need a meeting."
"Very well....where are they?"
--------------------------------------------------
Dan and Jerald ran to the explosion which was located at the Fuel Depot. As they entered they found a few bodies lying, either on fire or torn to bits. Daniel gazed upon all of this. Deep down he didn't like witnessing his own friends being killed. He grew a strong home sickness feeling. He wanted to be with his wife, and kids. But he had to stay, to defend them from the enemy. But who was the enemy?
Moments later a few other guards ran in. Daniel looked at them, "What happened?!"
"The spy...he ran off...and apparently he casued this."
"Wehre is he?!" Daniel asked in a rush.
"I don't know..."
Daniel let out a furious grunt, ashe ran off, turning his safety switch off on his gun. Jerald looked and decided to follow account he wanted teh fun of the "Hunt" as well. Daniel looked around the base. Only to find trucks, and crates. He slowned his pace to a run and walked about, not knowing if the spy had a gun, yet he didn't hide in cover. Jerald caught up to him. Both went back to back looking around. "Damn it Jerald, where is he?!"
"DO I honestly look like Jebus?!"
"No..."
"There ya go."
After mometns of looking, a man ran frm behind a crate to the entrance of the base. Since Dan and Jerald were in the open they witnessed this. Both pointed their barrels at his head and slid forward to where he was about to go. Right when they were about to pull the trigger, a loud shot was heard, and the spy fell down as blood splatted from his head. Daniel and Jerald both lowered their guns, faces in awe. Only one man came to their mind. Jerald decided to yell, "Damn it God! You ALWAYS steal our kill!!!!"
From a tower, came a man who wore the normal uniform but was holding a F6-F Sniper. His voice was southern, like an American and responded, "Well, ya should'a fired sooner. But ya know meh, I havta do this. It's my job."
"Yeah shove it, Jimmy, shove it." Yelled Jerald slihgtly laughing.
"It's God, thank ya."
The accent of "God" made Daniel kinda laugh. He was an entertainign person. He loved to crack jokes, even in horrible situations. Jimmy was the type of guy who cheered everyone up. Now that the spy was disposed of, the actual work of the MFR had yet to be decided by suprise.

Luckily Mia grabbed onto the wall, when the man pushed her. Mia blinked at the two soldiers who rushed into the lab, wondering about this sudden commotion, but more importantly about the unconcious man that they carrying. The Professor looked at Lance and his cronies, listening to the situation Lance shoved at the Professor and Mia. As Lance gave in the specific orders and details, Mia was about to protest as she realised that this Lance man got the wrong lab. However seeing how stern and intimidatingly scary Lance was, she kept her mouth shut. The professor raise his brow in confusion, thinking the same thing as Mia. That Lance got the wrong lab, as this one deals with nano-technology and machinery. Not human experimentations/interrogation. However seeing how important this issue seem to be, according to Lance. The Professor kept quite as well. Both Mia and the Professor gaped at the vandalisim of their wall as the soldiers built shackles and chains. This was a lab! Not a prison cell for goodness sake!!
Mia 'eeped' as Lance threw the cell at her in suprised as she caught the cell after a few fumbles. As Lance and his soldiers left the lab. Both of them sighed.
"Well... This is interesting..." mumbled the Professor as he glanced at the brown haired unconcious man. Mia examined the cell that Lance gave her. It was a basic black cell phone that anyone could use without getting frustrated.
"Should we call that Lance man that he got the wrong lab?" Mia asked as she too glanced at the unconious man.
"Better not. You know how uptight those guys are... They'll never listen to us. Besides, if we do this job our pay will rise" grinned the Professor, while gettting off his swivel chair and walking towards the unconsious chained man, getting a closer look at him
"PROFESSOR!" Mia yelled at him in suprised that he would use this to his own advantage. That conniving...
"Where the hell am I? What do you want?"
Mia jumped in suprised at the sudden outburst of the man, however that didn't faze the Professor at all. As the man, Jake screamed out the last comment, the Professor laughed and turned to Mia.
"Tell me Mi-Mi dear, do you have any experience with DNA?" smiled the Professor with little twinkles of mischief in his eyes. Mia ignored the Professor and walked towards Jake.
"Don't worry. You're in the Nano-technology and Machinery science labratories. We have no intention to hurt you" Mia replied Jake in a calm tone
"Yet..." the Professor added with a toothy grin. Mia shot a glare directly at the Professor, making him shrink back with a nervous laugh to his swivel chair at his desk.
"Um.... Don't mind him" Mia muttered as she thought to herself in misery 'How did I ever ended up with this crazy man...?'
"So.... What sort of troubles did ya caused to get yourself locked up in my lab?" the Professor asked Jake in a mocking tone as he smiled at him
06 BETA soon woke up from his slight dozing off and stood up, the Tranporter Helicopters was just about to land as the Pilot continued talking through the Mic blubbering a bunch of numbers and codes and permissions. 06 BETA looked in the corner of the Helicopter where SPT. Francia was sleeping away. 06 BETA walked over to the terminal and looked for objectives to upload into his Hud, which, SGT. was going to do in the first place...
"MISSION OBJECTIVES UPLOAD." the order went through the terminal and started to upload into his Hud and became visual. 06 BETA threw a empty canister at him and Immediately woke.
"OMG THEY ARE ATTACKING!" He woke up and looked around fast and realized that it was 06 BETA, "What's up with you? Now you need something
!?"
"We are here." They landed on the Apache Pad and jumped out half way to see any enemy presence. He looked around and seen no body at this base. "Where are the french?"

OOC: I talk to Jack and I'm trying this again... consider my previous posts as a flashback to two weeks prior...
and hayu... um..."OMG They are attacking"?... "omg"?...is that just because he thinks like a computer or was that just you slipping into net speak by accident?
IC:
Charles woke up as the plane jerked forward. He had fallen asleep while he had been reading a book and looked out his window for his first view of France. The last place he'd probably ever see. His platoon had gotten transfered to Ile de France Region Army Base (or IFRAB as it was called) and would be taking over for another platoon that had stayed its due time.
Magnum looked over at Charles but didn't say anything. Jung Bu and Steven were getting their gear together, JB slipping away a small music player and Steven stowing a comedy book he had brought with him. Charles had read the book in his spare time and found it was indeed rather humerous, making the usual wise cracks about topical issues and the traditional targets. Nothing he hadn't seen before but nothing so stale as to be painful to read.
Sgt. Hatter stood up as the plan came to a halt and they all turned their heads to him, a habitual rigidity falling into their joints as long hours in bootcamp proved that at least on small useless measure had been ground into them. Charles had his head facing his Sergent but his eyes were looking around the base trying to get some sort of bearing on the situation which he now found himself in. But such luxuries were not to be had by a peasant such as him as the hustling soldiers and technicians outside gave him no such clues.
"Soldiers! Fall in outside the Aircraft!" Sgt Hatter yelled and instantly everyone was up and moving quickly out of the Boeing 979 Personnel Aircraft. It was a large bird, not graceful by any means but it was capable of carrying heavy payloads in men and equipment long distances at good speeds. He'd remembered boarding the beast back in Quantico not 6 hours earlier after a long night of worrying. France wasn't a safe place for a skilled soldier. For a piss poor one like him it was a death trap. He'd probably end up stepping on a land mine and dying without even knowing what hit him.
It was starting to disturb him how de facto his thoughts were concerning his imminent death. But such was acceptance he assumed. If one knew what was going to happen there was no need to worry. What shall be shall be... a mortar might blow his brains across Steven charred, shrapnel filled remains and such would be the life (and more specifically death) of a soldier. He didn't really let it bother him anymore.
He fell into line next to Magnum and JB (Jung Bu) and waited for Sgt Hatter to start speaking. Sgt was one of those men that just oozed military service. The type with a neck as thick as his head and biceps that look like basketballs. He wore at thin t-shirt to emphasize the muscles which caused Steven to crack a few jokes about his sexual preferences behind his back. All in good fun of course. His voice was thick and harsh and was just now being turned against them, "Alright!" he started as he did every paragraph he ever spoke, "We! Will be taking over Ile de France Regional Army Bases Eastern Patrols starting 0400 tomorrow morning. I expected those who have the early morning to patrol details to be at their posts no latter than 0330..." and he went on but Charles tuned him out preferring to let his own thoughts occupy him.
What could have these Sophia myths he'd been reading about Gnosticism have meant insofar as relations between individual Gnostics of opposite sex were concerned. Were women looked down on, as they were in many Helenistic cultures, even Aristotle claiming them nothing more than, 'a necessary deformity of men on the road to monstrosity?' Charles didn't like the thought and he wanted to believe better of the Gnostics, so his mind drifted to a different conclusion. Perhaps they had merely separated femininity from women. That the term "woman" meant someone possessing of both masculine and feminine traits, as indeed the term "man" was. Such, could either be a very uplifting belief for woman or a degrading one, depending on the point of view. 'What would a feminist think of that?' he wondered, because he hadn't really ascertained precisely where feminists stood on the feminine. What was feminine to a feminist? Did not femininists support women doing the exact same things as men? Did that not imply that feminists were actually masculinists, determined to take up traditionally "masculine" traits? It was all very confusing, especially given that the feminist movement was not one collective body but rather a series of groups that each held their own individual interpretation of what the word "feminist" and by extension, "feminine", meant.
"Alright!" Sgt Hatter bellow breaking up Charles train of thought "Move out!" Charles sighed... he ought to include Sgt Hatter as a bit character in a story sometime. Perhaps as a random prop character to give the main character orders and move his plot along... he might even get fleshed out a little before his untimely death at the hands of the enemy. Maybe not... mostly he'd be there to shout "Alright" and "Your orders are thus" and then the main character would interact with more important characters who would walk up to him and say-
"Hey Charles lets go!" Magnum said to him after having walked up to him and shook his shoulder. Charles had been drifting off.
---
Charles was once more seated on a barrack, as he often was throughout his time in the military. JB and Steven were talking about some TV show from the 20th century, something involving a "Mr. T" but Charles did not deign to pay attention to their banter. And rolled over to read his book. Dear god this was dull...
He sat there and drifted between one thought and the next constantly wondering what he ought to be doing. It was one of a style of thoughts which he called the, God's Eye Thoughts. His mind drifted away from his body and he thought of himself not as Charles Carter, born in Howard County outside of Baltimore and spending most of his life in the snobby, annoying region that was West End Richmond Virginia. No... he thought of himself as a mere marrionete of fate. It was then that he felt that long held dream he had... a dream he had possessed since childhood... to die taking a bullet for someone. It was a dream he had let his mind rest upon every so often and he enjoyed the sensation of it. The feeling of hot lead piercing his lung as he pushed the person out of the way. The warm blood seeping into his mouth. The coughing. The hacking. The slowly ebbing thoughts. It was a bliss and a revelry and a nightmare all wrapped into one and he was enraptured by it. But there was more to these God's Eye Thoughts then just the idea of committing suicide to save someone's life (he really didn't care who... just some random passer by would be fine as long as he got to take that bullet and feel his own life being drained. Martyrdom was such a beautiful thing) there were also stranger thoughts. Thoughts of what the machinations of his mind and body wrought upon the broader context in which he existed. The tapestry. There was that universal saying of a butterfly flapping its wings and causing storms. He didn't believe that dreck... one butterfly could do nothing. But people like him weren't one. "[They were] Legion", if he could paraphrase the Gospel of Mark for such a humble metaphor. A billion butterflies might be able to cause some effect on this world. And he supposed that was the principle behind the army. "Everything counts in large amounts".
He couldn't imagine his life being written down in some tome. There would be no "Romance of the Five nations" And he would be no Lu Bu or Guan Yu. He wouldn't be some "war god" whose fights and battles changed the face of history. But perhaps he, a small little soldier, could just let himself drift... and mayhaps the currents would sweep him up and pull him into something beyond his ability to comrehend or to struggle against.
Yeah and then he'd find a romance that wasn't sexually threating, he laughed mirthlessly into his own mind. Such things were for story book drivel and anime/manga junk. Such things didn't happen to middle class boys that accidently got themselves shipped off to die for their country. What awaited him, and everyone else in his platoon, was a death on the battle field hopefully one that was mercifully quick.
But Steven was calling him now, "Hey dude... you say goodbye to your family before we left?"
Charles rolled over and looked down, "nah... as far as their knowledge gets them my corporal form is still drifting in Quantico."
"You mean you didn't even tell your parents you were reassigned." JB said suprised.
"nah... My bodybag will tell them that story. Now leave me alone, I want to be able to write my thesis if this war does not claim my coil." And to their credit they didn't push the subject.

lisa walked to her motorcycle and unlocked it. after cheking if everything was safe, she started the machien en drove to her home atlist she called it that. She stopped in the alleyway beside a highclass stripclub and walked inthrough the dancers entrance, the security nodded at her as she passed through. When she was released from her duty of the organisation for a while she decided it was time to dissapear, the club was owned by a old friend of her fathers who adored her as a young child and actualy had tryed to remove her from the drug dealing circuit but then she was arrested and left his sight for a long time. When she found him again he owned the club, he already was over the 70 and when he saw her he knew she was to far gone to be helped.
She moved up the stairs, now she worked for him and took care of enemies that threatend his club. she fainly smiled as she opened the door "he is dead uncle rio". The old man smiled at her "thats good lizzie, thats very good" he stood and walked towards her laying his hand on her shoulder "i choose a sucsesor for the club lizzie, i am old and wont live long". a young male came from another room "this is my nephew clarance the agreements wil stay" he coughed "serve him like you served me" he chuckled as his choice of words and left the two alone. Lisa looked at clarence and nodded. she turned and walked down to the middle of the stairs, she moved a panel on the wall and typed in a code on teh panel. the door opend and she sighed when she entered her own room.

Issac prepared to enter the battle as he loaded up his three modified weapons in the armory. His first weapon is a M4 Assault Rifle modified with a red-dot laser sights that replaced the carrying handle that originally came with the M4; A M20 Sniper Rifle with modified bullets that can pierce through thin walls; and a duel set of M9s. Issac also brought four suppressors just in case he need to go stealth, a set of night vision goggles, and 2 frag and flashbang gernades. "War...," he said to himself. "Once its over...I'll be thrown into isolation again......this war...brings isolation..."
Once he was ready, he headed out of the armory and out of HQ, preparing for his first mission of WWIII. He looked around for awhile and saw everything he needed to know. He began to walk north of his position.
and hayu... um..."OMG They are attacking"?... "omg"?...is that just because he thinks like a computer or was that just you slipping into net speak by accident?
OOC: I'm sorry to confuse you! SGT. doesn't exactly like to talk formal because, 06 BETA, can't really under stand what he says because BETA only understand a few responses to people. So just to hide his real emotions, he will talk in a letter format just so BETA doesn't understand him being scared. Sorry about that. =D

SGT. Francia came out of the Helicopter rubbung his head because of when he hit it while waking up in fear, "Don't you think the pilot could have parked us, you know, somewhere near civiliz..."
The Helicopter began to arise back in the air all of a sudden, then the pilot started to speak with 06 BETA into his hud view, "Beta, I can't land anywhere closer to the mission area. There has been reports of short arms fire through out this town and can't risk leaving the Terminal in the fight. SS FIRESTONE out." The helicopter start to move away, smaller and smaller in the sky as it left.
SGT. Francia, began to panic as he was only a Class-C SGT. "BETA! Where the Hell did he..."
But BETA was at least 50 yrds away by the time SGT. Francia looked at him, "SGT. FRANCIA, we must carry out the current objective which was to meet up with ALLY FRENCH in a Base near by." 06 BETA continued to move and began to not be seen.
SGT. Francia started to do a 100 yrd sprint down the field, "HEY! I'm part of this mission too!"

Aleister stepped out of the Colonels office. A look of disgust upon his face. Only hatred was felt for the Colonel, then again Aleister had hate for everything, except his killing. He found it the only exceptional thing in his life. As he walked throught the halls, he went to the Servants quarters, to check on the abnormal boy who followed him. "Why does this kid follow me?...prehaps he can learn from me and continue legacy after death. No he does not pocess any skill or anything...."
This thought lingered around his head until he reached the boy. He noticed the boy...doing nothing. He looked down upon him. Finally speaking, "Don't you do anything?...ehh doesn't matter. Come on, prehaps you can learn something on this new mission of mine." After this was stated he signaled a wave for the boy to come. He knew Manequin would probably follow, where ever he was, not that it mattered to Aleister, he just had to do a simple mission. Locating those around him.
Aleister came up to a guard who slipped out a red card, slicing it through a card scanner next to a metal door. It slid open revealing a open air field. Walking around the air field were known MW's, Mobile Walkers. They had a solid body where the pilot sat, and two reverse joint legs, the front was thick with armor but the rear was the intial flaw. It was open for a direct shot, but the MW's may be fast but they were also designed to keep the enemies in front, their one flaw was the rear. Aleister approached a unique plane, named, "Volter". It had the ability to move fast for quick transports to avoid direct enemy contact. Aleister boarded. Sitting down the plane took off heading to it's destination.

Daniel was really upset that he had to go back to boring old patrol. He either wanted the war to start, or go home to see his family. It was his oldest daughters 6th Birthday tomorrow. A feeling of guilt sank into his gut for he didn't want to miss it, but she was a bright kid, she'd understand. The one thing Daniel missed the most was his wife. In blind moments of thinking of her, he faintly heard his name called. First he ignored it, until it was said two more times. Then he acknowledged. It was another guard, "Daniel, Captain wants you."
"Ok...."
Curious to what was going to happen Daniel made his way to the Captains quarters. Upon entrance he saw the luxury the Captain got, compared to the infantry and guards. He had carpet, cushioned chairs, a desk, phone, even a T.V. This made Daniel a bit jealous. He stood their wating yet no sign of the Captain, until a door near the desk opened. Walking out was a Short man with a shaved face. He was smoking a cigar, removing it he spoke, "Ouh, Daniel' you're here. Good."
Daniel saluted him, "Yes, sir. What is needed?"
"Stand at ease, no sir needed."
Daniel stood at ease, lowering his hand, "Alright, what is needed of me?"
"Just a report of our...little incident. What happened?"
"Well for me I was patrolling, got news that we captured a spy, then an explosion, we chekced it out looked for the spy, found him and as usual God took the kill."
"Ahh well, what he said was true. There is no initial plan yet. Either that or the MFR don't tell their spies much. Can I get your opinion on something?"
"Sure."
"what's your view on this possible war?"
"Well, sir. I think it's of insecurity and uneeded matters, but I'm just a soldier not like my thoughts matter much."
"Uh huh...isn't that damn right....."

IFRAB was a dull empty hum of habitual movement as Charles leaned his head against the wall of the barracks. Nothing much was happening, not any different from Quantico except half the people spoke French and he had to have the translator assigned to their unit perform his job. Why couldn't they have been assigned to ancient Judea? Where they spoke Aramaic, the only non-english language he knew. Of course it was fitting that the only language outside of his native tongue that Charles knew would be something completely useless in real life, just like every other ability Charles possessed.
Magnum was humming his music to himself on the bunk bed was starting to annoy Charles but he was too unassertive to make him stop. Rather he looked at the paper in front of him. There were lines of text in his usual unreadable scrawl. It was a paper he was writing, hopefully he'd be able to get it sent to a Religious Studies General and get published. "Gnosticism and Women" was the title of the paper. Charles caressed the contours of his face with his pencils and shifted his glasses. The one good thing about this army stint was that he was getting a lot of work done.
"But there no happiness here/ no dream that we have to fear!" Magnum began singing and Charles' jaw clenched in annoyance and he set his pencil down and left to find something better to do in the Barracks. But of course there was nothing. He was just walking. Some men were listening to the radio, news programs. News was uneducating drivel. Charles would never bother with the dreck.
Sgt. Hatter sighed as he came into the barracks. Charles looked at him out of the corner of his eyes wondering whether there was anything that he had to report. But alas the Sgt just walked over to his own room that he shared with one of the other squad Sergeants. Frustration crept through Charles and he punched the air. If he was gonna die he'd like to get it over with rather then this empty hovering between boredom and tedium.
Death was better than waiting for death.

The boy was silent. His words were nothing but the blank canvas filled until the art of his demise would be set. He thought on and on about all the time he spent working hard to reach his small and utter worthless position. The little child followed behind his arch enemy. It was true, keep your friends close (He had none), but keep your enemies closer. He took a seat in the far corner of the plane munching on the little bit of bread the flight attendant decided to pity upon him. He'd wait, and wait, and continue thusly.
The masked figure had been behind Aleister the whole time. It was funny that his moving checkpoint didn't sense his presence, but he could feel that the man knew he'd be coming. The form dropped backwards from the ceiling as the electric doors shut behind him. He skittered across the ground so low, inhuman was his crawl, his knuckles against the ground and his back barely three inches off. He flipped back upon the plane, latching at the top of the fuselage. The harsh winds wouldn't sway his grip nor would the pain of cold affect him.

Issac was confused. He looked around and saw that there was nothing. Nothing but a ruin. "Damnit...I thought there was some base here. Looks like I've been tricked." He decided to look around for a bit and hope to find something interesting.
-flashback-
"Get away from that kid," said a business man to his son. "He doesn't deserve to be with us." The boy walked away from Issac back to his father. People stared at Issac while walking by him. "Doesn't he look bad?" said one of the females to another. "Yeah," said the other. "Let's keep away from him." As the females walked away, Issac walked away, mindless, into a very dark ally, where nobody will see him.

Alexia tilted back in her chair. "Another week, another town" She mumbled angrily to herself. The guards by the door as usual didn't budge an inch neither replied to Alexia's comment.
Three knocks came from the other side of the door and the guards stepped back as Greene came through. He didn't say anything simply fell upon a chair directly opposite of Alexia. The silence returned, Alexia about screamed just to hear some noise, she caught herself and looked at the guards. "I wouldn't suppose you'd tel-"
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Jameson, but we were strictly ordered not to tell you where you are. Rest assured you are still within the borders of U.K." One of the guards said in a monotone voice that could've been anything from French to American.
Greene made a stifled sound that could've been a chuckle. It always happens like this, I ask the guard says he can't tell me where. At least we'll settle down within a few weeks, it's always like that after a close call. Alexia thought. A few weeks ago a MFR spy had almost found her then the Prime Minister had ordered that Alexia be moved for several weeks until they were sure the spy was caught.

The plane landed on a land strip in an unkown location, well of course it was known to the departures and passengers, well of MFR stature, but to everyone else it is unknown. Aleister disboarded almost ignoring the child following him. As he exited he noticed Manequin hanging onto the plane with his blades. Aleister just shook his head, "Why do you do things?"
Awating outside the building where the plane landed was a normal car. Beweildering five seats like any usual, four doors. Entering the driver seat, he waited until Teh boy and Manequin entered. Where as he drove off. Following the directions given to him, he ended up to a "High" Class stripclub. Upon exit Aleister looked at it and his face went blank. He looked at teh club then the child, then the club again. A slight feeling of amusement coursed through him, he had an urge to giggle, but held it in. "Ehh...Man....Manequin I think you should stand out here...and well uhmm...watch...the boy...I'll go in by myself...ehhh ouh boy..." Aleister walked up to the entrnace. Once inside his I.D was asked for, he showed for once not giving trouble. Immediatly though he went to the back, or tried to find his way. Seeing a door he made his approach only to be intercepted by "Gurads". "Sir, you can't go this way. Plese turn around."
"Oh but I must you see it's an important matter, I was invited."
"Sir, if you were invited we would of know your looks, and your I.D would give you away, Mr. Alexander Sokolov as your card said, right? We've not been expecting anyone by that name."
"Well, that's not really my name, but still let me through."
"Sir, leave the building, for your own good."
"No..." Aleister voice grew cold, "For YOUR sake I suggest you let me through, I'm looking for Lisa Terlon, she does jobs for you. I need to talk with her."
"Alright, sit we'll escort you out."
As the "Guards" made their move, Aleister threw a fist towards the face of one, knocking the man back, slightlypericing the wall. He grabbed the other mans wrist, snapping it, and hitting the back of one knee. Like a worm he squirmed as he fell to one knee along with a scream. Aleister looked at him, grinning, "Now, before I kill you notify Lisa I'm here, and Aleister Morskov would like to speakto her, if she asks who tell her to think about Organization Zero-X, Angel of Death. Now GO!" Aleister pushed the man down as he got up and ran off to notify Lisa.

Daniel made his way to exit the room, not really thinking much, the phone rang. Just as Daniel turned the handle the captain spoke, "Wait, Daniel..."
"Yes?"
The Captain made a few nods as he listened to what was being said to him. He looked up a few times at Daniel, with a puzzled face then it was straight. "Daneil, you're being transferred. To a mission in Charters, help them with something, I'm not too sure. Something about dealing with Allies in France..."
"Why am I qualified?"
"I have no clue but you better hurry your butt to the plane if you plan to make it."
Daniel made a dash for his Helicopter, which he thought was a plane, once again he got upset from lack of knowledge. He wondered why he was transcript to do this.

lisa was rummaging through her laundry when a knock came to her door. Frowning she opend only to see a beat up guard. She quickly helped him inside her room "what happend?". The guard hissed when he sat in a chair with her help "a guy came looking for you, his name is aleister morskov". Lisa paled "i thought they would never find me here.." she walked to her computer and typed some commands logging into the security cam's and switched till she ofund aleister. She cursed under her breath and turned towards the guard her face hard "evacuate the club". she grabbed a duffelbag and started to throw clothes in it and the bag with money. The guard jaw dropped "on a friday night, thats..". Lisa turned to him with a glare "that man is highly dangerous, he wil kill anyone that touches him or is touched by him". The guard started to do a good impression of a fish causing lisa to lose her patience "just freaking do it!" pulling the duffelbag on her shoulder she walked to the door and stopped "and tell uncle i am sorry" she walked down the stairs coming eye to eye with aleister. she glared her pupils changing from large to small before returning to there original size "it has been a while has it no aleister.." she glanced over his shoulder to see the evacuation had already started.
The sky was feeled with smoke; so hard to breath in almost. 06 BETA was limping a bit due to a shot from a 37D Sniper Round. He kept shooting while running to a safer position, "SGT. FRANCIA! Where are you!?" But... no response...
*Flash Back*
"BETA! Come on! Don't leave me!" He kept running, now about 30 yrds away. Hey Wa-" SGT. Francia stood still.
06 BETA looked back, let's go S-" His eyes wided to the point that you can see the line of his Cyborg born pupils showed... "SGT. FRANCIA!"
SGT. Francias neck was bleeding as he stood and fell as fast as the Sniper shot. SGT. Francia was dead...
06 BETA started to run but turned to a WAR PARTY who were requesting a air strike, and just like that, "The whole area was covered with explosions...
*THE END*
06 BETA sat against the wall shooting about 3/20 soldiers with his last round, "Can anyone here, over!? WE HAVE MIA, I REPEAT A-" the radio wasn't working, his hud wasn't activating either. He grabbed the back Flare in his pocket and shot it in the air for hope that anyone was near.

Issac saw something unusual from the sky during his patrol. He looked up and saw something bright, a flare. "It looks likes someone is signaling for help," he thought. "I better move quick and assist."
Issac began to run to the location of the signal and help out. He dashed quickly in a blur. He was taught that "if you see a flare, move to its launch location and secure it." He never let this knowledge disappear from his mind during his training. He pulled out his M4 and prepared to secure an actual area for the first time. He knows this is not a simulation and needs to be careful.

Jake looked aorund and tried to assimilate as much information as possible. His situation wasn't a very good one. He was stuck, handcuffed to the wall of a nano-tech. lab with two crazy scientists. Jake didn't really like people to start with but he hated weirdos even more. Not only did they piss him off at work but in general they just annoyed him. The girl seemed more down to earth and business-like but the professor was really getting on his nerves. He remined him of those teachers at school that tried to stay at the same level as their students.
Jake wasn't an idiot, he had always done good in school and his constant readign and searching gave him a pretty vast knowledge on many subjects. The reason he didn't become anything more then the assistant manager to his father's shop is because he never really wanted anything more out of life. He had a good life. A roof over his head, his family close to him. A community he started to like and a cat that he loved more then any person. COOKIES!!! Those bastards better take care of my cat or I'll hunt them down...
Jake knew a fair bit on nano-technology, it was actually a field that he found very interesting. The technology was in full bloom and the possibilities were however like all great science the danger of it was all too real. With nano-technology you could in theory wipe out a civilisation in an instant. Imagine a virus who could mutate and adapt itself, avoid water filtration protocols and navigate itself to where it is needed. Such a virus doesn't exist in nature but could exist in the form of microscopic robots.
The race to fullproof the EMP technology became one of capital importance. But with all defence mechanisms come flaws. Of course EMPs became a secure way against most attacks in this new era of technology but ways had to be found to protect oneself from your own EMPs. And one fact is certain if you find a way of protecting yourself from your own EMP then your enemies will definitly find it anyway. Whether it be through spying or just studying, things always leak.
"Hey you! Stuck up girl...Are we still in Canada?" Jake couldn't help but hav ethe impression that the girl was one of your typical school nutjobs that studied all her life and couldn't chill to save her life. Jake didn't mind it though. Jake wondered who had kidnapped him. He didn't see any form of tell that could have given them away and with his splitting headache he had a hard time concentrating. The peoples accents seemed american enough but it meant nothing.
The professor was enjoying this situation way too much. It became apparant to Jake that the scientists were as taken aback by the whole situation as he was so he decided to calm down slightly. However, the smirk on the professor's face gave him the creeps. That man was one to watch out for. The stupid giggles and dumb smiles hid something deeper and a lot more sadistic. He stared directly into the professor's eyes with his dark brown eyes: "You tell me! I was about to take my lunch break at work and then BAM! Two nutjobs come up to me, drug me and take me away without saying a word beside wahts your name. For christ sake I never did anything to no one!"
Jake was on a roll. The anger was starting to make his headache go away and the venting was making him feel a lot better. "Then I wake up to find a crazy-*** professor thats going to take advantage of my situation and a stuck-up assistant with the back bone of a chiwuawua. GET ME OUT OF THESE THINGS!!!" He knew it wasn't the scientists fault and he had always respected people that studied in science but he needed to put the blame somewhere or he would go nuts and currently they were the only targets. Plus the professor was really getting on his nerves.
Hayu leaned up against the wall, holding up the empty Flare Gun and falling against the wall. The air slowly calmed downed as the bombs silently diappeared. He could here the Enemy in a foreign tongue talking lou as the slowly crept to where he was sitting. He looked out of the corner of his eye and seen the side of the man only 5 feet away now. In the back of his mind he new, there was only only one thing to due... Fight. He jumped up with his good leg with a compat knife and stroke it at the man, slowly killing him. But only seconds later, he looked up and saw more in front of him. He jumped again and was shot in his shoulder, bleeding furiously. He looked at his wound in his leg, then his shoulder. He stood up slowly and launched a slowly swing with his knife and took a final endured shot in his side.
"Damn... my body is wasting. It's so slow..." He fell on his knees and slowly on the ground laying down. Watching about 13 enemies around him. Waiting...

JB was complaining as usual and scanning the distance around the base for an enemy attack that would never come. They had been put on guard duty on the top of the north-east tower and told to look out for enemy attacks and so, being faithful little soldiers at heart, they would carry out their orders. Pointless though the orders may be. This time JB's complaints took the form of wanting some sort of battle or fire fight and he was ranting about how he was a soldier and therefore he should be fight.
Charles was leaning against the back guardrail of the tower with his eyes closed, trying to sleep. Alright, he had lied about the "they" part, but he figured that JB had it covered. Opening on of his eyes, Charles shot back an insult so JB would shut up, "You're soul shall be reaped. Besides, anyone who deigns to fight is..." here his words slowed for emphasis on each syllable, "... an i-di-ot"
JB sneered something at him but Charles wasn't paying much attention. He was much to busy calculating the levels at which this entire notion was stupid... why didn't someone just nuke one of the others and get this whole farce over with? To save lives? HA! more people had died in the last world war and more people would die in this next one, if things continued, than even 7 atomic bombs could destroy. Thats why nuclear weapons were invented! TO SAVE LIVES!
But sadly... people had to much "common sense" to be decisive. If there was a guarenteed body count an action was evil yet somehow if we didn't know how many would die then it was okay! Charles was frustrated. He would happily loose his hometown and his parents with it if it would prevent further conflict and death. Sacrifices were sacrifices for a reason!. I-di-ots.

Aleister noticed as everyone started to evacuate. He only sighed and rolled his eyes. At that moments notice he witnessed Lisa walk down to meet him. He was expecting a slight warm welcome but instead he got what he found to be rude. After she spoke he looked at her, absorbing all he could. Then a twisted smile emerged on his face, of course to him this was the "nicest" smile he could devise. "No, Hello Aleister, good to see you again? Or Don't you look nice."
He took one step closer to her, for what reason evenhe didn't know he jsut did on instiinct. "WEll, hello to you too Lisa. Even though you are human and I disgust you for it, I can say it IS rather nice to see you. NOW let's get blunt shall we? You're OBVIOUSLY wondering why I'm here, your eyes give it away. Well snce we arestill under command of the MFR I ws ordered to bring you back to HQ, where we have orders. And I found the details of our orders rather....interesting. We are to go to America, as refugees. False names that we get to create, nice eh? I already have mine, Alexander Sokolov. Anyway, we've gathered info that one of the Angels whom died in America did not die. We are to recover him, bring him back and once again have in join our ranks. If he refuses, well I get the pleasure of killing him. NOW Lisa, you MAY refuse to come but if so I will be forced t kill you and Manequin is outside....along witha boy but forget the boy, it's manequin whom you should be concerned about. We will attack if you refuse I have orders. So are you ready?"
After he spoke he took some breaths he obviously exhausted himself doing that feat of talking, which he's not used to. He stood there. His hand on his cane ready to pull out his blade. The urge to kill was grand for him. He din't care who she was it was another chance to create a work of art. To show off his skill.

Issac looked for cover in the ruins and saw a guy on the ground. "That must be the guy who launched the flare...I better help him." He turned off his safety on his M4 and quickly moved left and around the enemy and saw a good flanking position. He looked left quickly and saw 13 hostiles in the area. "Thirteen of them," he thought. "Better make the best of my shots."
Issac spun left and squeezed the trigger of the rifle and let out four shots. Immedietaly, four of the men dropped. He immedietaly took cover again. "Four shots," Issac said. "Four kills. Nine more to go." Fire immedietaly came upon his position and he duck down. He threw a flashbang at the remaining hostiles and waited for the bang sound. When he heard the bang sound, he turned left, crouched, and shot 9 more shots to the hostiles' head. The remaining hostiles dropped like the last four. Issac moved slowly to the body to the ground and saw no hostiles left. He immedietaly moved to the body on the ground. He checked his pulse. "He still has pulse..." he thought. Issac shook the body and said, "You alright?"

'Stuck up... girl?!'
Mia was shocked and utterly flabberghasted ((ooc: hehe... love that word)) at Jake's sudden vulgar behaviour, but more importantly was shocked about the insult he gave to her. No one had never EVER called her that. Sure people called her a 'nerd', 'geek' or whatnots, but stuck up? Well that was new. The Professor glanced at Mia's frozen reaction and decided to take over Mia's place in conversing with Jake.
"Sorry buddy. But you're in New Yor--"
"I am NOT stuck up!" Mia yelled at the man, as she immediately recovered from the blow of Jake's insult. "H-how, how dare you call me that! You... You..."
"Now Mimi dear there's no need to get so worked up at a few words the captive blabbered. Although I find it very amusing at the moment. He's just probably insecure right now... Give him a break honey-"
"HOW many times have I told you to STOP calling me these pet names?! It's MIA!!! M-I-A!!! MIA!!!" Mia screamed at the Professor as she was at the final last straw of jumping over the edge of insanity if she had to put up with the professor's antics and Jake's rudeness. She collapsed on the floor with a soft 'thud', looking as if she were going to burst into tears like it was teh end of the world.
"Mimi darling-"
The Professor's attempt to sooth Mia's anxiety was interrupted as Jake's anger erupted as he lashed his anger at both of them. Which in turn concocted a new theory of the relationship between the captive, known as Jake and Mia. Similary, as Jake's anger increases, Mia's anger also increases and vice versa.
"I do NOT have a BACK BONE OF A CHIWUAWUA!!!" Mia screamed at the man and turned over to her desk with a stern voice "Commence ATLAS wake up activation!"
"BLEEEP! Commencing ATLAS wake up activation" spoke a little blue robotic bird as it came to life, fluttering it's small eye shutters and flapping it's wings.
"I'm going out-side..." Mia growled and immediately glared at both the Professor and Jake with eyes of flaming hells of anger. "Make sure the Professor doesn't mess up the files or blow up the lab" Mia ordered to the robotic bird- ATLAS, before she exchanged her white lab coat for her mahogany jacket and walked out of the the labratory's metal door slabs with her purse.
"Umm... Buy us some lunch, will ya Mimi dear...." The Professor quickly requested with a squeak, just before the automatic metal doors closed behind her. Although he was positive that she would not heed to his request in her current mood. The Professor gave out a deep sigh and turned to Jake with a miffed look
"Now look what you did... You made her all angry... You made her hate me!" accused the Professor as he shook his head in misery in the palms of his hands.
Meanwhile ATLAS flapped its wings and flew down towards Jake. It twisted it's head and opened and shutted its eye shutters, as if it blinked at him. However it was merely taking a photo of him. With both of it's twig-like limbs, ATLAS hopped closer to Jake's right side, but not too close for Jake to give it a massive bashing. Not like he could anyway.
"Please state first name, surname, gender, status, address and occupation BLEEEEEEP!" ATLAS commanded with it's monotonous alto male voice as it spun it's head around at Jake.
At the Professor's desk, the ancient grammaphone, played another song of Frank Sinatra
Oh would you like to swing on a Star~ Carry moonbeams in a jar.....~

Lisa gritted her teeth, she had hoped aleister had come alone that way she could hopefully wound him and scram. But with manniquin in the mix it was even more dangerous, she gave a twisted smirk herself "i was planning to hurt and scram but i see i have no other choice than to join you" she took a step when she heard clarance voice behind her "you lied to us". she glared over her shoulder "clarance this is not the time". clarance scowled as he walked down the stairs "rio said you ran for you ex-drug dealing buddies". lisa half turned to him "did you really expect him to tell you that i spend the last few years as a highly specialy trained assasin for army?". clarence growled "it would have been nice to know i housed such a danger, we need to talk" he grabbed her arm "that time is over clarance, that man that stands before me has killed more people than you had women". clarance snorted he does not seem like much ". lisa growled "clarence don't say stupid things" she pulled herself lose ignoring the angry look she got from him and walked over to aleister "i hate this but i am ready" she indicated the duffelbag with her head.

Then Jake fell silent and limp. He didn't want to anger the girl called Mia as much as he had. He was just angry. He hated the fact that he was now stuck with the crazy professor and a weird little bird-like robot which seemed to be called ATLAS. "Oh shut-up old fool..." Jake was in no mood to do anymore talking especially to the nutty professor. Then the stupid little robot approached him asking him questions.
"Get away from me little thing." The robot was unfortunately very persistent and kept asking him. Jake who had almost calmed down due to the hopelessness of the situation was fired up again by the annoying monotonous voice that was now talking to him. ATLAS stayed out of range knowing full well that if it came within kicking range that it would be flying across the room faster then you can say astrophysics. However, the little pest kept on pressing Jake's buttons and an evil smirk appeared on Jake's face. Jake smiled very little.
He never really had a reason to smile. Life was good but life wasn't exceptional so Jake seemed to constantly have that meh expression on his face. When he got angry his face would twist in a mad frown but otherwise he usually wore the same expression. At work he changed it a bit into a fake kind of kindness but it wasn't really a smile anyway he knew it wasn't. There was one thing worst then Jake with his angry frown and that was Jake with smirk. The smirk meant he had thought up of something and it was not in usually good. Jake had a shirt that he had bought himself but he was unfortunately not wearing it now.
At work he couldn't wear it and he was still in his work clothes. On the shirt in big red letters were the words: "I'm smiling, that should scare you!" Jake managed to slacken his foot in his right shoe. It helped that Jake never actually retied his shoes. He tied them once slack enough so he could just squeeze his foot in the shoes without untying and retying them. Then he would just retie them when they untied but still slack enough so he could squeeze in without untying them, Jake just hated the time wasted from constantly untying and retying them.
Jake then flicked his right foot and watched as his shoe went flying and hit ATLAS right in the head. The little robot sparked and then fell on its back before the lights in its eyes shut-down. Jake laughed because the robot was obviously broken. "Tell Mia her pet took a beating and tell her I'm sorry for what I told her, I didn't mean it. I don't even know her. Now go stupid professor. Go do my bidding. Go fetch her because I can't stand talking to you."
Jake got a boost of confidence even though it was ill placed. He was tied to a wall without any way out and th eprofessor had access to a lot of things to make his life a living hell but even though he disliked the professor he knew he wouldn't do anything to him. Jake was starting to like this place. It seemed to ooze with intelligence and discovery. The professor's annoying music was ruining the mood though. "AND BEFORE YOU LEAVE TURN THAT CRAPPY MUSIC OFF!!!!"
If it wasn't for the lame music and the professor's annoying presence Jake would probably like this place. Jake looked down at ATLAS that was now innert and as useless as a piece of twisted metal. Jake knew that it wouldn't be hard to fix. He had probably slackened the connections in his head. Jake liked it better that way because he didn't want the only person that was kind of sane (Mia) in this place to hate him forever. He just couldn't stand the little guy and his annoying voice right now.

Issac shook the body again. "No response," he said. "I think he's out cold. I better pull out of here before any more of those enemy soldiers show up..." Issac reloaded a new fresh ammo clip into his M4 before he picked the body up. He kept the old clip in case he needed it. He moved slower than he wanted because of the body he's holding.
Issac heard his radio activate, "Charlie Foxtrot. this is HQ, we need a sit-rep." He talked over the radio and said, "This is Charlie Foxtrot, I need some help. I have a body of someone that launched a flare. He needs medical attention fast." The radio replyed back to him. "Roger that, assistance is on his way. Find a place to hide and hold that position. HQ out." Issac found the nearest abandoned building, hunkerd down and set the body down facing up. "Come on man, stay with me---"
Issac suddenly heard gun shots on his position and took cover. "Damn," he said. "They followed me." He said over the radio. "HQ, I'm under fire, I need assistance NOW!" HQ replyed. "Roger, backup will be there ETA 5 minutes. HQ out." Issac loaded his M6 sniper rifle and prepared to snipe.

Alexia was almost mad with inactivity. She sighed and rocked back in the chair once again. She grabbed her lighter a lit one of the cigarettes that had been bouncing around in her pocket. She took a drag and looked at the guards. Only one had an expression on his face, the left one he obviously wasn't a smoker. The other one kept a neutral face, so obviously she had a relative rookie with her.
"Alex, that's a bad habit" Greene admonished, only half-way serious. The guard on the left began to cough. Alexia almost laughed she snubbed the cigarette out only to watch the guard's expression slowly make it's way back to neutral territory. Alexia started to get bored again. She started to pace the floor, then she walked slowly up the stairs from the front room.
The door burst open. The same MFR spy had just made a reappearance. Alexia immediately pounded up the stairs as she'd been taught, unfortunately her guards had been a little too slow reacting. The MFR spy hit her draggin her down by taking her legs out form under her. Alexia let out a little strangled sound. Rookie McAmetuer (sp??) pointed his gun at the spy.
"Idiot" The other guard hissed smacking the gun from Rookie's grip. "He's got Mrs. Jameson, don't shoot" He moved across the room to stand in front of Greene.

06 BETA was waking up on a beach, water coming up and down the shore line. He slowly opened his eyes and squinted due to the bright sun. He tehn saw a tall mountain with lare cannons coming out of it. The cannons started to look in the direction where he stood now. He grabbed for his gun, but it wasn't there... The cannons Shot at once. He stood while he waited it to hit him, but it didn't. He was so shocked at that point that he looked at his body fast. "Oh God but...?"
"Ahh! AH!" The body behind him fell, it looked as if it was a X-Soldier, dieing right in front of him. But... when he looked all he seen was hundred and thousands of soldiers just like him charging and dieing, this is madness he thought...
He slowly turned as a distant trigger was loading... it was him, but more different more... dead. This dead person of his own image seemed to be cold, more mindless. It rose the gun to the point that, it could not miss him not matter what... the gun did blow off.
*The End*
06 Beta woke up in seconds now, he started to ferociously cough up internal blood, "Sgt! Sgt!" He could barely talk now due to the blood dripping out of his mouth, noes, and wounds. He tried to yell that his friend was out there, not knowing he was dead...

Aleister gave a chuckle to what Lisa had to say. "Wound me eh? Why are you not fond of me? We served together. Some form of bond had to form." he slowly began to pace around her, not in a circle, more like half of one. until a man named Clarence spoke. Shockingly Aleister heard what they had to say, and Clarence trying topull off the tough guy got on his nerves, and to his suprised this is the moment when he found out about Lisa. This also angered Aleister. When she approched him, the back of his left hand slid across her face for a strong impact. Basically smacking her. "WHY do you deny your past?! You hide the true you from him. You hide your animal instinct. You are even showing hesitation of wanting to come back. WHY? Why pass tis chance to kill in war again. Why choose your own fate? ou're a animal like me." Anger was his eyes. nothing but rage, and anguish were felt within. He looked at her wondering why she was who she was. but that anger faded, and his voice grew calm. Not feeling as if he remotely needed to apologize, he spoke, "Well my dear. let us be off, but ONE thing we do before we go..." Aleister reached down pulling out his custom pistol. He aimed it at the one called Clarence. He aimed directly for his chest, pulling the trigger a bullet sprouted out, hopefully tearing through his chest, then anotehr shot aimed to the forehead hoping to splatter his brains across the floor. "Now shall we be off?" Aleister lead her out of the building, meeting p with Manequin and the boy again. He signalled all to get in the car as he drove yet again. As he drove he thought about the past. A flashback emerged durng the war. ~ Running in lines, waves were men, already dead against the Americans. bullets flew by on both sides, mainly the MFR men falling as blood rained. blood sinked into Aleisers face, charging. In sight was a small outpost of U.S soldiers, with the advantage of a turrent gun. Two to be correct. Aleister drewe his blade, a bull sank into his left shoulder. Instead ofpain being felt a rush of adrenline pumped, his speed grew, the power of his strength did as well. The walls were small enough to be lept, Aleister obviously leaping over them, as he landed he brought down his blade down upon the skull of one man, splitting it open. he removed it, running up to another group of two, just before he was about to slice them he came to his sense.~ Back at reality he was speeding up to almst rear end a car, but immediatl he braked, "That's a car!!!"

He squeezed the trigger and killed an enemy. "Who is this Sergent you're talking about...?" He looked up and shot again. Another dropped. "Eight shots left..." Issac thought. She looked over shoulder and spoke "i give it a 5 usealy your kills are much bloodier" it was her way to tell him she gave in..for now. she followed him into the care ignoring manneguin and the boy. she sat in the chair next to aleister already knowing he did not want to her to leave his sight for the moment. Alexia felt something heavy go over her head and suddenly there was nothing under her. She shrieked and kicked mercilessly at her captor. Gunshots echoed around her making her afraid one would hit her.
The guard standing in front of Greene wondered where the MFR spy had gotten a gun from. He didn't waste much time on that however and took Greene to the ground right before a bullet ripped into the chair he'd been sitting in. He took out his gun but made sure no bullets were in the chamber, maybe he could intimidate this guy into thinking it was loaded. It might work. He cursed the rookie he'd been put on this assignment with and said to Greene. "Stay here, don't move until I say so"
Alexia hit the floor hard. She rolled out from under the canvas the spy had tried to use to capture her. She coughed a few times and inched slowly away. The spy wasn't that stupid. He moved quickly and put the gun right under her ear. Alexia didn't make a sound.
While the other guard was trying to figure what to do. Mr. Rookie picked up his gun. It was loaded unlike the other guard's. He aimed right between the eyes and pulled the trigger hoping his was fast enough.
Alexia closed her eyes waiting for the inevitable blast. It came. Alexia cautiously opened her eyes to look at the dead MFR spy. Apparently Rookie was good at something other than coughing in cigarette smoke. It didn't escape her knowledge that she was incredibly lucky that the MFR spy hadn't squeezed the trigger before her guard had.
The guard with the empty gun loaded it and walked cautiously over to the body. "Get away" He mouthed to Alexia and checked for a pulse or breath. There wasn't a sign of either. He put an extra round aroudn the area of the chest just to be sure.
"Well that was exciting" Alexia mumbled rubbing her sore elbow. SHe earned an incredulous look from Rookie a bored one from the other guard and a laughing one from Greene. "What?" SHe demanded. "I can't say that?"

When Mannequin was left with the boy he only could stand still, his white mask seemed locked upon the child as they stood outside in the nightly chill. His slits started to glow red as his dark, even rhaspy voice came out from behind his mask.
"Child, Jai'in is it not." He spoke with no real tone, it as a question yet he made it sound like a statement. He didn't seem to feel like focusing on his speech.
The child looked back up at him with his brown eyes gleaming in the nightly lights of the club, this tall and lanky being before him always seemed to address him... But why? He was the servant of his commander, not the son. He inched away a few small steps from him. If he wouldn't fear Aleister for his power he'd definably fear this... thing of a man. He was so eerie and so dark. The fact that the spoke to him was terrifying.
"Yes'sir...?" He looked up at Mannequin, his eyes so glazed with the cold sheet s of fear. He could feel the remaining warmth in his already desolate heart become stripped away by the puppet's shear presence and attention.
"You should not stray too far. If you do, you lose your chance at him." He blankly said, as if he knew what he was talking about. What the boy didn't realize is that Mannequin could feel his hatred, the anger resonating from his body in the presence of his C.O. Mannequin never told Aleister though. Why was this? Truth be told, he's just a puppet. When he is with Aleister he feels his vibes and his tones as well as his shows of blood lust and idealism. When he's with the boy, he can feel the burning hatred and the searing flames of yearning... a lust similar to that of Aleister's. Maybe that's why he'd talk to the boy, bit less then he would with his C.O. but nevertheless the same.
"What are you talking about?" He sharply returned before the doors had burst open, their commander striding out with a female. They were pressed into the car, the boy sitting next to the puppet. He could feel all three of them then, but decided to watch the sights as they rolled. It seemed to tingle something inside... Or something like a feeling in that cold nocturne husk that he was.
But as the time passed on the puppet was jogged when the brakes were jolted, and he hit the seat in front of him. His arms spun about hitting his backside with the blade of his forearms, and then he was still.
The upcoming mission would mean he'd be put into a large suitcase, and be what he was... a puppet. That was his guise, not a fake identity or some strange program.. he was Aleister's puppet.

After using up all the ammo of the M6, Issac barricaded every enterance to the house. He also pulled back the guy on the ground into the basement where the enemy won't find him. He gave the guy his pistols and said, "Use this if the enemy gets too close." Issac went back to ground level with his M4, ready to fire. He hid behind a counter and took aim. "Come on guys," he said. "This is where you die..."
The front door broke down and enemies began to enter. Issac unloaded all of his bullets in the M4 and enemies began to drop like flies. A gernade was thrown to him and he threw it back. An explosion occured and most were the enemies were disintergrated or dead with no limbs at all. He loaded a fresh assault rifle clip and stayed down. He heard some foriegn language before firing again. Window barracaides began to break open and now enemies were throwing flashbangs.
Issac heard the sound and kept firing. He had to move back to the basement. He took a risky dive into the basement, only to be hit 4 time in the body. The chest and the stomach. He rolled down into the basement in pain. He quickly got up and behind a knocked down table. Issac kept panting very hard as both of his lungs were hit. His vision began to blur as he got up and heard gunfire outside. He knew back up had arrived. "It's about time..." he said in a low voice. He carried the body up and out of the basement and out of the house with his empty sniper rifle, M4, and duel pistols.

The Professor raise his brow at Jake's sudden confidence, while giving him a slight confused look. He looked down at the broken ATLAS and slightly twitched
"No can do buddy... Even if I go and find Mimi, I wouldn't know where she headed. Besides I'm not allowed to leave this area, since I have to baby-sit you" He gave a glare at Jake, before picking ATLAS up and speaking once again "If you want to apologise to Mimi,. Do it yourself... Oh and breaking her things isn't going to help...." He fetch a screw driver from his desk and begins to repair him. Before he could unscrew one of ATLAS' screws. ATLAS automatically switched on with its eye shutters openig and closing and his wings flapping once again. The professor gave a small jump of suprise and blinked at the revived ATLAS
"Ah... That's new. Mimi must've done some modifications on it...." He said as he proudly smiled upon Mia's fine creation. ATLAS blinked at the Professor as it stood on his lap and spoke
"Commencing temporary repair maintenance completed BLEEEEP!"
ATLAS flew over to Mia's desk and turn towards Jake, while at the same time twisting it's head around.
"Name: Get, Surname: Away, Gender: from, Status: Me, Address: Little, Occupation: Thing" ATLAS stated as it recorded what Jake had said before it was knocked out by his shoe.
"Ahhh... That's right!!" The Professor said as he raised his hand, like a cartoon character that thought of a lightbulb idea "You haven't introduced yourself to us... Well not that it matters anymore since ATLAS done the job for ya. You should thank him- Get" The Professor grinned like a Cheshire Cat, all knowing too well that Jake's name isn't 'Get'. Ahhh... The wonders of toture. The Professor thrives on it everyday, always pulling on everyone's strings to the point where they just explode. Except for Mia, of course, she was a different case and not to mention his assistant. So he totures her to a 'minimum'. "Anyway..." The Professor continued "Nice to meet ya, Get and I'll be going to do my work". Before he turned his back away from Jake, he added "Oh and Get... Be a dear and refrain from throwing things around like your other shoe. Throwing things around in this place is a big hazard in the labs. You could get us killed!" He excalimed with mockery dripping from every word of his voice as he turned his back away from Jake. However the Professor was telling the truth about the hazard-ness of throwing things in the lab. Just like throwing things in a classroom, minus the potential to craete a gigantic nuclear exlposion. With his back away from Jake, he leaned over to his grammaphone and turn the music up a notch louder.
Oh would you like to swing on a star~ Carry moonbeams in a jar! And be better off than you are~ Or would you rather be a fish!
The Professor snapped his finger and tapped his foot at the base of his swivel chair in sync with the rhytmn of the music as he sings along with Frank Sinatra's voice. He wasn't a bad at singing per say, but of course one would get annoyed from hearing him sing too much, especially Mia. But she's used to it now. As the music played the instrumental part, the Professor thought to himself outloud
"I wonder where's that fella who was going to bring that equipment for me to torture Get with..." He said outloud absentmindly, just trying once again to pull Jake's strings of nerves and started swaying to the music in his chair.

Mia was outside in the streets, crossing the pedestrian crossing and making her way to the artificial Centenial Park. She made her way to a bench and sat down with a heavy sigh, thinking about her life and the possibilites she could've been instead of being an assistant of a crazy luntaic of a so-called Professor. Sometimes she just can't stand him and loses hope. This was one of the sometimes.
"Why me..." she sighed, as she leaned back of the bench with her head tilted up high, looking at the grey mirky sky.

"All Clear" Charles said in his habitual action as he switched places with his replacement and climbed down the ladder to get some food. JB followed close behind giving the same, tired-but-time-honored, phrase its going over. Charles didn't slow down to let JB catch up but JB did anyway, much to Charles' chagrin, and, like expected, the old boy launched into a long list of complaints. Most of the involved how boring things were in some way. Charles pulled a book out of his uniform and began to read it in order to avoid having to actually pay attention the JB's dull and incessant chatter. He had long ago gotten good at sneaking books on patrols so that he didn't have to bother with the dull tedium of "guarding". What was there to guard this place from? After all, no one was stupid enough to start this farce of a war! Anyone who'd want to start a war would have to be intelligent enough to lead with a nuclear strike and he hadn't heard anything about nukes going off so as far as he was concerned nothing else counted.

Charles enter the room he was sharing with his squad mates and instantly averted his eyes to the floor. Magnum had taken the time to decorate the wall with pictures from his Playboy magazines. Charles sighed... why was he the only non-lustful person in this world? But alas not everyone could maintain their innocence as he had managed to. Knowledge maintains the innocence; Actions take it. "God damn you lemur-wanged incubus, take those smut pictures down!"
"A shut it, Yeshua! You ain't my mutha!"
Charles just sighed and didn't press the issue.

"Yes, sir."Krieg said.As he left his superior's office he took off his mask, knowing that he was the only one walking in the hallway, his hair slightly covering his eyes."Schwartz, how did the meeting go?"He heard a voice say.He turned his eyes towards a woman who stood next to him.Krieg sighed and slowly put his mask back on."It's nothing, Arisa."Krieg muttered.
Arisa is Krieg's subordinate, loyal to him in many ways, however Krieg doesn't require her assistance in most cases.
"If the superiors called you, it had to be important."Arisa said.
Krieg continued to walk, with Arisa slowly tagging along, following him."It turns out we're having troubles in the local city.A riot, the cause, unknown.Apparently things have gone too far and I've been assigned to put it to an end, by force."
"Just to stop a riot?"She said, surprised."Then again, things have gone pretty crazy after your foster father died, he did keep order in the city."She said.
"It's pretty extreme, but it's not like I have a choice.A good amount of police officers and a few of the riot officers have already been taken down.Turns out some of the people are soldiers that served under him, of course no one knows about the cause of his death,or who murdered him.I suppose they're blaming it on the "big shots" now."
"So they're sending you to kill your father's own loyal soldiers?!"Arisa said surprised.
"...yes."Krieg said plainly. They both went completely silent. The only noise being the sound of their footsteps.'...and I don't think I'll have any regrets doing this.'Krieg thought.

After a bit of Aleister driving like a jerkoff they arrived at a mansion. Driving up to the security near the entrance gate Aleister showed his real I.D and he wa allowed to enter. "Now in the U.S you obviously see a safehouse for us MFR troops. NOW Lisa, once you enter go directly left and you'll see a door enter it and you'll enter your quarters. I expect you to stay there, any means of escape I'll hunt you down and kill you. Understood?"
HE didn't even wait for her to respond, instead he parked the car and walked out. After he noticed the boy walk out he looked at him, "Boy...why do you follow me? Ehh not like it matters..." Aleister then began to walk off seemingly in a rush. What he had going was unknown. Going through his body was trails of excitment. Another thing lingering through his mind was Lisa scoring him. A 5, behhh to hell with her thoughts. Though originally I was hoping it would bother her a bit to see fear or sorrow flow through her, but I guess us Angels are just immune to feelings. Feelings? What are they? Oh it's been so long...
The thought of what feeligns actually were puzzled Aleister he was only used to rage and content. He tried to remeber love only to realize it's a weakness. Then clikcing into his mind was what was making him so excited. He ws to take Lisa and Manequinn to get their fallen Zero-X Soldier being held by scientists. He immediatly bursted into where Lisa was, "Don't get comfortable. We're already about to go off on a mission. You see, remeber when we lost five of our members? Well....one is alive and we're going to go catch him and if he refueses we get to kill him. Isn't that grand?! You won't be using your sniper you'll be accompying me, so if you want I can lend you my pistol..."

Daniel grew on the urge of being confused. He was being sent t france but he was not sure what base. But in the midst of his flight the pilot told him, "Ile de France Regional Army Base, not to far from your old one. You'll be meeting up with some American swuad, I don't know your full details I'm just the pilot. Sorry."
Daniel nodded. HE sat back and relaxed, pulling out his wallet. looking through some contents he ignored most until he came to a picture of Elizabeth, his oldest. IT was the most recent picture, the one he received before he left. It consisted of her in the middle of hiim and his wife. They were actually at the beach...attempting to build a sand castle. He took his index finger and rubbed against Elizabeths face. He desired to see her agan, but he couldn't. Not yet atleast. Not when this war is just breaking out. He put his wallet away. "We arrived." the pilot spoke.
Daniel was slightly nervous. He had to make new "Friends" so to say. He didn't know anyone. They could of been anything, jerks, homos, who knows. Right when Daniel stepped off he said only three things, "Ohhh great....Americans..."

Lisa just nodded at aleisters threat, she knew better than to defy him. she had tryed in the past to run away during missions but aleister always brought her back. She dropped the duffel bag and looked around the room, it was pretty big a bed, a desk, a closet for a her clothes and another door from which she assumed was the bathroom. she jumped slightly when he bursted in and told her they had a mission. She grimaced about the thought of her sniper "i had it destroyed after i left..". He was gonna get angry she just knew it, the sniper had been a custom to keep her from being tracked if she lost it. Next to killing aleister seemed to love guns. she ignored the chance of his anger "i had a good reason to leave aleister, it was not just the killing ja know.." if he wished to hit her he would do it anyway the higherups woulden't say anything. she turned and gave him a small pleading smile "can i atlist change my clothes before we leave" the clothes she wore now were old and the ones she always used on uncle rio's missions.

Alexia heard him mutter. "Well excuse me if I'm not the lovey-dove authoress you thought?" She lit another cigarette completely ignoring the guard's grimace.
"Who knows who cares at least he didn't manage to get away" THe guard said practically dragging the rookie back to the post.

The boy stayed silent, as he usually would. He had nothing to say to him. Him.. the one who had slain his parents. He could remember the aftermath... the destruction of his childhood and the reckoning of his innocent heart.
~Heat.. heat.... It was getting warmer. At the same time the bodies were getting colder.. it wasn't fair, it all wasn't fair. Why'd they have to die? Why did he kill them? Why...? WHY!? The little boy opened his eyes at his mother's side, over the bleeding body of the once warm woman that had sheltered him from the cold and kissed his nightmares away. It was getting warmer.. and warmer.. yet she grew colder.. ever so cold. He knew he had to leave lest find the fires of hell behind his dust, too close for comfort. the flames started at the doorway faster, eating the wood like the glutton who eats without thought of what there isn't. The window was a ring of fire with a glass filter.. It was then or never and with the burst of strength he found from seemingly nowhere he jumped from the chair, shattering the window and rolling into the driving English snow..~
He snapped from his thoughts, they just seemed to envelope him in his bubble of sorrow and hatred. He followed.. and followed.. waiting..
The being known as Mannequin sat outside the gate, standing completely still about a foot from the guard standing duty. The guard would sneak glances at him, and expect him to jump and scare the begeezus out of him.
The puppet noted his feelings and acted upon them, his body spinning a full 360 degrees before snapping back into place where he would raise his hands and stare down the slightly shorter man with his red glowing slits. The man could somewhat see his reflection on Mannequin's mask, seeing his own fear reflected. He attempted to run, but the puppet was too fast and snatched him by the collar.
"Stay." He stated in an empty voice, and so he did.. his knees shaking.

"Knowing that Professor, he'll never be able to get those files done in time...."
Suddenly a loud growl came from her stomach, she looked down at her abdomen and was slgihtly embarrassed.
"12:30pm... Might as well get something to eat..." She muttered to herself as she crossed the road and followed the crowded footpaths of New York city, searching through suitable places to eat.
'Looks like it's going to rain...' She thought to herself as she quickly glanced up at the New York skies

"Wadda think," said the male one. "Should we take him to Organization-X?" The female one began to speak. "Hmm, he's homeless. Doesn't have a clue, but we can put him to good use..." The male one began to examine him. "He's sleeping. I don't think he'll notice. Great idea. Let's take him..."
The male picked up Issac and both moved back out into the ally, disappearing into the shadows with Issac.

Elle breathed in the salty air, and watched the blue green ocean hit agianst the shores of the New York city docks. She was sad to have to say goodbye to the hard sailors of the big old steamer she arrived in. Her last mission sent her to Silicy, Italy to check out reports of an underwater lab and see if M.F.R. could salvage it as trading post. It was a mondane mission except the beautiful city was torn apart by war and halfway underwater. She shook her head furiously as if that would remove the images behind her eyes. Stop your young and in an enemies major techinical city, go have some fun. I'm sure big brother wouldn't mind if you sent a few nasty virus around.
Elle placed two delicate fingers in her mouth and blew, an earshattering whistle sounded. Sailors all around the docks covered their ears as a young falcon emerged in the sky to land promply on Elle's shoulder. The falcon prummed her hair affectionetly as Elle started off towards the city.
((So sorry for that very Late Post!))

OOC: Sorry, I have been sooo busy...I'll try to be more active. I know how much it sucks to wait for soemone to post.
BIC:"Whatever..." It really didn't matter anymore. It was obvious he was stuck here for an indefinit amount of time and whether he cooperated or not didn't really matter at this point. He was a little town boy stuck in a situation way out of his comprehension. One day his biggest concern was if he wanted a second cat to share his life and now he's been kidnapped by the government and about to get experimented on. How quickly things changed...
He let himself slump in the chains that stopped him from sitting down completely. He knew that in this position eventually his shoulders would complain but right now he didn't care. Pretty stupid of the guard to leave him without the ability to at leats sit correctly. But now that he thought about it his comfort was definitly not on their priority. Jake couldn't do much at this point. He had to sit and wait.
Two options came to Jake either he just tried to get some shut-eye or he could just look around him and analyze his surroundings. Jake was definitly not sleep. He had just been drugged and stayed unconcious for an unknown period of time. Not only that but his nerves even though he was mroe relaxed would not let him sleep for hours. Lastly, he didn't really feel comfortable going to bed with the nutcase within proximity.
The second option would have been an obvious choice in any other circumstances. Jake would have given anything yesterday to visit a lab like this one. However, now that he was here and how he had gotten here had kind of discouraged him about the whole deal. Yes everythign around him was really cool but everything in the place simply represented another thing they could use against him if they felt like it.
Jake had never really been in a situation where he was this much at the mercy of another human being and he didn't like it. Jake was proud an dhe didn't like the fact that he was chained and had to wait to see what would happen to him. He wasn't afraid of detah but he didn't really want to die right away. He doubted that his own government would kill him for no reason but you never knew.
Jake's hypothesis was that they had grabbed the wrong man. It was the only explanation for a young village boy working in his father's shop to attract government attention. Soon, he though. They would release him after realizing their error and everything would go back to normal and Jake would never think back upon this. However, as seriousness of the situation slowly sunk in Jaker realized that his life would never be the same. He couldn't help but think of all those times he had wished that greater htings happened to him. That the monotony of his life would be broken by some event.
Be careful what you wish for is what they say and God was that true. At this very moment there was nothing Jake wished more hten to wake up realizing this was another one of his epic dreams he kept having as he grew up but he knew better. He knew better then to think of this as a dream. Therefore, he looked aorund mindlessly trying to tame his thought. Not looking at anythign in particular trying to ignore the professor's useless rants and decided ot wait for Mia to come back. He wanted to talk to a sane human being about this situation.

The sergent came to Issac, concerned. The sergent spoke first, "Issac, you were ordered to go back to HQ for your next mission immedietaly." Issac began to speak to the Sgt., "I know Sgt., but we have a soldier missing and he can be possibly captured. If we don't rescue him, the enemy will extract information from him and we can be in big trouble." The Sergent thought about the situation and finally spoke. "All right, I'll report to HQ. You just sit tight, you're just been hit and I'll need to confirm this order..." The sergent walked away and went to the parked Humvee.
Issac tooked off his helmet and pulled down his face mask. His face featured light skin, white hair, and red eyes. "The sergent will confirm the order," he said to 06 BETA. "Once he confirms the order, we'll move out and rescue Sgt. Francia."

Alexia knew that by the time the Prime Minister was informed she'd be whisked away. And probably not even in the UK anymore. She was determined to enjoy her last few hours or minutes here. She took another half-hearted drag on her cigarette and looked at the covered window.
He was putting off informing the Prime Minister. He knew exactly what the man would say. He said it everytime only this time he wasn't too sure that Alexia would be in the UK.
Rookie sighed. "ARe we telling the Prime Minister or not?"
"Later"
Alexia began to form a hypothesis. It was possible that from up here she could get away from her guards. She'd never done well in any type of restrainment for her safety or not. If she got away it might help her because she knew that her guards would be too proud to admit they lost her. Then they'd focus more on finding her guards rather than her. Alexia smiled.

Elle looked around the huge department store filled with cloths. She longed to see the small electronic stores that lay hidden throughtout the city, their general customers questionable to any kind of respectable folk.
A simple ringing sounded in her ear, quickly she answered with timid,"hello?" The man on the other side of the bluetooth raddled off some numbers finishing with a annuyed huff. In response Elle took a deep breath and sang,"Daddy won't you pretty please extend my credit card limit its so small compared to other girls. All these beautiful cloths in New York are expensive. You wouldn't want me to look ragged, would you?" Anyone passing by would have heard a young girl coaxing her rich father for more money, but to those who mattered the frightfully happy tone was just an act, a very good act. It was a simple pass phrase stating she had arrived in New York and was getting along fine. It also said she was ready for any quick jobs that HQ may need of her.
"We have a group of agents gathering up an old friend here in New York, they will need plans of a high security building, along with locations of gaurds and cameras. It would be very nice if those cameras also malfuctioned around the mission so as to not let on who we are." the man said monotoned. "Of course I won't go to overboard Daddy," Elle said as she hung up. A smile was spreading across her face. She felt giddy inside, the feeling most girls her age reserved for boys.
She left the department store in a shuffle, removing herself from the sales ladies that had over heard Elle's conversation. "Vultures," she mummbled as she headed off towards the building in question.
Twenty-five minutes and a few confused businessmen later she stood on the roof of a building close to the large labratory she was to find blueprints for. The buildings were close enough that she could leap over the distants between their roofs. Landing smoothly on the pebbled roof of her target she smiled inspite of herself. Hah, gymnastics isn't a worth while skilled to learn my...Elle finished the thought with an obsene gesture and continued towards a locked electric hub on the roof.
The lock was washed stainless steel with a password and key required to open it. Elle ploped down on the roof and plugged a lock pick into the lock. From the butt of the lock pick a wire snaked down attached to black box. The box was nothing special, made of black plastic. It mostly resembled a thick calculator. With a few buttons pushed the machines screened filled with numbers constantly changing. Elle carefully placed the machine on the ground, after which she opened her bag. Inside where a variety of things all very innocent to the untrained eye. She reached into a secret pocket and took out latex gloves and a high tech labtop. When she was finished setting up and she carefully put on the latex gloves. The calculator finally stop spitting "random" numbers on the screen and blinked a series of numbers, a second lator the lock droped to the ground useless.
"Crappy American tech," she said shaking her head. She open the cabinet examining the electric hub. Elle suspected the hub was only used to manage the huge satilite to her left. Well for her it was a fountain of knowledge, for the next few hours she sat on roof intent on her computer going threw firewalls collecting information from the labs inside as well as the needed floor plans. Only when she felt someone was begining to get suspicious about her activity did she stop. Before she left though she made a connection to the camera room so as she may access it anywhere. With that she left leaving everything as she had found it.

While the Professor sang as he did his work- fixing all the government's top secret files, making sure that every one of them had special security codes in them. He glanced at Jake, realising he had clamed down. 'Thank goodness...' the Professor mentally sighed in relief. The Professor yawned and stretched his arms as he leaned back in his swivel chair, getting a bit tired.
"OH!" The Professor stood up from his chair in delight, as if he was quickly rejuvinated by an invisible force. He started shuffling through the papers that were scattered on his desk in excitement. ATLAS tilted his head at the Professor and then at Jake.
"Found them!" The Professor grinned like a five year old boy who found a a stash of hidden chocolates that his mother took away from him. He quickly walked towards Jake and crouched down in front of him.
"Ahem... Mimi's birthday is coming up and it's my duty to get her present.... I'm stuck between these two... Which one ya think suits her?" The Professor asked with a grin as he showed Jake two papers of promiscuious designs of female clothes. The design on his left hand was the cliche old traditional French maid-slave costume, which showed a lot of cleavage and the backside. The skirt was short in a tu-tu like style with many frilly layers. The other design was an imperial Chinese emporess costume, which revealed most of the shoulders and cleavage. The costume was quite elaborate with complicated pattern designs on the royal coloured materials. It was quite beautiful if you minus the promicuious parts that is. The Professor hummed in delight, excited what Jake would pick as his cheeks grew light pink from his pervertedness.

This that correct?" The female began to speak, "Yes...this is him." They continued to observe Issac for a hour or two as he moved around, mindlessly. The female observed Issac closly and said, "Does he know anything? Can he talk?" Oh dear serenity, perfect sanctuary of the sane mind. Oh silence of peace, silence put to good use. The professor had started working on some stuff Jake cared very little about and as a result the lab had become surprisingly quiet. The only sounds to dare intrevene on the silence was the constant humming of electricity that seemed to vibrate through the room like the soft thumping of a heart. This whole room was alive with power. The hair on Jake's arms were constantly on end as a result.
The occasional cling and clank of machines doign their job created a soothing concerto of mechanic precision. This place was very soothing and was teh situation any different Jake would love this place and he knew it. However, he wasn't visiting, he wasn't hear to appreciate the intricacies of this lab, he was a prisoner and he had to deal with that. Every second that passed seemed to punch Jake's hopes. Nothing happened, he just stayed there, slumped over like a broken chair. Useless and atatched to the wall.
Jake felt so helpless. He could never break the chains, he was completely at the mercy of men he didn't know, of men who cared very little for him. When he looked at Lance he got the feeling of a man that would sacrifice voluntarily 100 000 young men like him if it gave him the knowledge he seeked. Jake had finally closed his eyes but was far from sleeping. In his head he was playing over and over everything that had happened to him since and during his kidnapping.
He obviously reached a blank when he was drugged but besides that he thought over every one of his actions. He wanted to see if the situation could have been different. The only part he hit a snag. The only part where he realized he oculd have acted differently was the whole situation with Mia. However, she had to understand his situation, she couldn't expect him to be all nice and happy after being kidnapped, drugged and broguth in for testing on no charges and with no explanations.
Jake didn't even know why he cared. To be honest the explanation was completely selfish. Mia was the only sane person in this nut house. He needed to talk to soemone that was still gorunded. That was still somewhat normal. He needed to face something not out of a science fiction movie. He wanted to talk about the weather...he wanted to go back home btu if he couldn't he wanted to feel home. However, the irony of the whole situation was the fact that Jake didn't like to talk to people especially girls. Funny how extraordinary situations can cause unexpected results.
It is said that under the power of adrenalien a man can lift a car, swim rushing rivers, survive the harshest conditions. As long as the mind kept clear and the heart kept pumping the human body was capable of the most astonishing feats when push came to shove. However, Jake wasn't going to break through the wall and run off, Jake was stuck to the wall, slumped over, broken. Then far away a voice brought Jake out of his thoughts and back to the unfortunate reality.
"Which one ya think would suit her?"
"Huh?" Jake's mind was rushign slowly and his eyes were once again getting used to the bright lights int he lab. The professor shoved 2 pictures of promiscous looking outfits and babbled about something concerning Mia and a birthday. Eventually his brain caught on and he understood the professors request but he was not very amused. Not only could he care less for the outfits presented to him but he couldn't give a living hell about what the professor gave anyone.
The professor was obviously having fun at Jake's expense and the cruelty of the whole affair was starting to play with Jake's sensitive strings. People that knew Jake knew better then to play with Jake's sensitive strings. Bad things, uncontrollable things had happened in Jake's childhood when such events had occured. However, the professor wasn't angering him to that extent but he was treading on thin ice.
Jake glared up at the professor with as much hate as he could muster and spat at one of the pictures nto aiming for one in particular then spat again at the second one. Jake kept the glar for a few more seconds afterwards before letting his weight fall and letting the chains keep him up. "Be careful...life has the cruel tendency to explode at the most unexpected time and God don't you want anybody vengeful on the loose when that happens." The hatred Jake put in every word was very unusual to him.
Jake was a sinical and negative and even to an extent a grade A jerk but he wasn't cruel. Jake excelled in debates and insults but he made it his code of honor to never insult at the ONE THING. Everyone had this one subject that if touched will send the most brave and emotionless men to tears. It will break men and shatter brains. Jake didn't touch that sensitive string even though he had become very good at finding out what it was. Jake then went silent again and closed his eyes in an attempt to ignore the professor.

He quickly continued on his way intel he heard the safety of a sniper rifle being released. Light quickly dropped to the ground as the bullet zoomed by his head. Light growled and reached into the coat pocket that he was wearing the brown trench coat now he a large hole in it and with it covering his hands Light quickly pulled out a alpha hand gun. It was the zero addiction and allow for two clips to be stored in at one time and fired one to three shots per fire. Light grinned again as the next shot missed and hit the now empty trench coat. Light was now in the air and three shots sent the birds flying away as a soilder fell to the ground. Light landed on the ground and looked around. He was surrounded on all sides. He needed help. Charles squad hit the side of the warehouse as sounds of gunfire exploded throughout the camp. The attack had come fast and almost without warning, JB was trembling heavily and Charles could hear Steven muttering a neat little string of curses. Magnum seemed to be too dumb to realize the enormity of what was going on and Sgt had hardened himself enough that it didn’t seem to effecting him noticeably, but perhaps that was just a face he put on to deceive. He could hear screams echoing through the tight allies between the buildings, and not all of them were M.F.R.; he could tell by the accents.
Sgt Hatter looked back at them, “Alright men! Lets move forward, keep your rifles high and you eyes sharp!” Sgt Hatter moved and Charles was right behind him with Magnum bring up the rear. Sgt Hatter and Charles turned the corner right into a spray of enemy gunfire… it looked like they had manage to set a machine gun between two of the admin buildings on the opposite side. But that didn’t hold Charles eye for long. The left side of Sgt Hatter face was hit by a bullet spraying Charles with blood ,skin, bone, and gray chunks of brain. He dived back behind cover.
His comrades stared at him as he leaned against the wall of the warehouse. He could taste blood, warm and metallic in his mouth… the Sgt’s blood. He felt his lip with his hand a pulled a strip of foreign skin from it… skin.
“We need to move!” screamed JB over the thump of a mortar and the conjoining screams of the wounded as the begged for a death that would come in its own way… loud and agonizing. Steven nodded to JBs words with nervous apprehension while Mangum likewise agreed but with a more unfeeling slowness. None of them wanted to be here anymore, JB had lost all his battle-lust, had it drained from him by the banshee wails of the dying. Only Mangum seemed untouched by what was going on, having only the same dully confused look he always possessed.
Charles mind was shuddering, bending and rebending into different shapes and all of them feeling sickly. But he forced down his rising bile and turned to his old squadmates, the brit having been separated from the sometimes ago, “We should circle around the warehouse and strike from the other side, or circle to the entrance of the warehouse and try to find a firing position.”
Steven screamed in fear, “Whatever lets just move!”
They circled around the other side but another enemy squad was holding behind a burnt out Humvee. Charles stayed at the corner and peeked out to put fire on them and hopefully hit one of them as they did the same. JB decided to go with a more risky plan. There was a dead U.S. soldier leaning out of a crater, the bottom half of his body completely gone, but more importantly, next to him was a M98 machine gun. If they could reach that and set it up, they could put enough concentrated fire on the enemy position to eliminate them. JB made a run for it but he was clipped down midway, bullet slicing through his body like butter.
“JB!” Mangum shouted and began to run for him but he was shot almost as soon as he left the cover of the warehouse . The bullet struck him square in the jaw causing half of his manible to fly off. He scrambled and picked up the piece of his jaw and began trying to force it back into his mouth as blood poored from his mouth in a river. Charles started at him… he could see magnums tongue through where the cheek out to be. There was only one thing Charles could think to do. He pulled out his pistol and plugged a bullet into Magnum’s skull to put him out of his misery. Steven just screamed and howled like a baby and for Charles’s part he wanted badly to do the same.
Suddenly across the way a friendly tank burst over a chain link fence and lined the barrel of its cannon with the enemies that had been keeping Charles pinned down and with one shot blood and bodies sprayed everywhere in horrific fashion. He could hear screaming, it sounded like begging but he couldn’t speak the language they were using so he could not know for what. He felt though, with his entire core, that they were begging for their loved ones, as their life blood bled away, as they struggled to force spilled out entrails back into their bodies. All they wanted was the ones they were out dying to protect… or who they had been told they were dying to protect. But where they protecting them? Probably not. And their agonized screams went unheard.
Charles noticed black forms moving in the building overlooking the tank and suddenly the tank exploded as a trail of smoke, no doubt containing a rocket, emanated from the building. “Come on Steven we got to move!” Charles shouted looking back on at his comrade. But Steven was curled up against the wall and screaming:
“No! I don’t want to die! If I move… I’ll die! You saw! You saw them! Bloodied! Oh God!” all his good humor and laughter from before… now he was nothing more then a screaming, gibbering wreck. Charles took a step back and then turned. He had to move before they forms in the window reloaded that rocket launcher. Charles sprinted across the clearing between him in the tank, not two seconds after the spot where Steven lay crooning was hit by a rocket. Charles dived behind the tank and looked back, but nothing remained of Steven save blood and a crater. Lots of blood.
Charles’ breathes were shallow and fast, more panting and barely returning oxygen to his body but he could not slow his pulse. He was filled with twisting energy, macabre and screaming. And the world around him echoed it was the clang of small arms fire on the tanks remains. The forms in the window knew he was behind cover but he had to get to the alley next to the building where he would be safe. Heheh… safe…yeah right. He leaned his rifle over the tank’s bent shell and opened fire. Maintaining that fire he sprinted towards the alley, hoping they wouldn’t risk taking a hit to shoot at him while he was exposed.
Safely within the alley he reloaded his rifle. Just as he did and enemy opened a door next to him he had not seen and he ducked down a shoving his rifle under the poor man’s jaw pulled the trigger, causing blood to spray all over Charles and the contents of the man’s skull to fly out the opposite side. He grabbed the man under the jaw, sticking his finger into the place where the bullet had gone through, feeling the tongue in the mans mouth, it was severed. But he maintained his grip despite the sickness that waved in his stomach used the man as shield as he opened fire on the soldier’s comrades. He pushed the body inside and ducked behind a wall. Remembering some vestige of his training he pulled a grenade from his body armor and let it pan a moment before tossing it through the open door. The explosion was accompanied by gargled screams. Charles enter the building.
One of the soldiers had been killed instantely, his face and chest lacerated by shrapnel and burnt away. Another of the men was still limping around, his right arm completely blown off by the explosion but still alive. He gargled in his own language something that sounded pathetic and awful and Charles felt his stomach churn as man clawed at the ground and bowed his head before him, seeming to beg for mercy. Charles gave him the mercy he had given the oaf Magnum… he put a bullet through his skull turning the floor into even more a mess of blood and gray matter than it had already been.
It was the last straw for Charles, the sickness that had been bubbling in his stomach and all over the now-brainless man’s body he emptied the contents of his stomach. He kept cough and puking until he felt to his knees in a pool of blood and vomit. It was horrendous and appalling and that just made Charles sicker. Oh Sophia! Oh Zoe! Why have you abandoned me to the hands of Yaldabaoth? He screamed in his skull to wake from this nightmare of blood and bullets but it never came.
Charles was sent fly back against the wall and looked up to see the room that had been adjoining this one, now revealed behind a small screen of concrete rubble. A mortar, perhaps…or a tank. But in either event he had to run. His legs couldn’t support him when he tried to stand to he crawled out of the building as fast as he could, still retching dry heaves as he struggled out the door.
He waited outside the building for the second mortar shell to hit and kill him but it did not come and eventually. After lying there amidst the sounds of gun fire and human terror for several minutes, he stopped being sick and was able to stand. And without stopping to look back he ran blind through the twisting alley’s between the compounds.
Eventually he came to an opening into one of the roads that crisscrossed the base, there was he could only see a single U.S. solider, who was held up behind the remains of one of the bases guard towers. The rubble of its strewn across the road, probably because it had been felled by a mortar blast or similar explosion. The man noticed Charles and extended his hand and beckoned Charles to cross the road to him. But the man had exposed his arm in the process and bullet managed to hit it, cutting it off midway between the elbow and the wrist. The man stared at where his hand had been and was so disorientated and confused by the pain and loss that he stood up from behind cover where he was quickly cut down by enemy fire.
But that wasn’t Charles’ concern…what matter was that the man, in waving to him, had exposed Charles’ location and he quickly ran back into an alley towards a door into one of the buildings. Behind him a rocket or maybe a grenade exploded and he felt a piece of shrapnel slice him along the side of his abdomen but he did not stop to check it until he was safely within what appeared to be a warehouse.
He checked the wound which, though it did not appear to have hit any organs, had sliced through both body armor and flesh and was bleeding heavily. The warehouse he was in was filled with crates and he kicked one open and found, to his displeasure, ammo. He took what he could but he would much rather have found bandages. Suddenly the door next to him open and two enemy soldiers ran in and spoke to each other quickly in their native tongue before branching off, to search for him, he assumed. Looking around he placed a grenade next to a group of several boxes and ran as fast as he could out of the building. They heard him open the door and shouted but by then it was to late. The grenade exploded, triggering bullets, rockets, other grenades, whatever was in those boxes and the resulting explosion hurled huge chunks of concrete into the air. Charles ran out into the road, too deafened and disoriented by the explosion to be able to realize that he was exposing himself. Suddenly he found himself facing down an enemy APC with its mounted machine gun. He had fallen on his hands and knees and just stared at the man who was just as surprised to see him and just as disoriented from the explosion. Before the soldier could pull the trigger however, a huge chunk of concrete from the warehouse explosion landed on the APC, crushing both it and those within beneath its bulk.
Charles didn’t stop to thank Sophia for this gift but got back up and ran to the side of a building, clutching his bleeding side. He leaned with the stoop of what seemed to be one of the barracks an leaned against the concrete half-wall surrounding it for cover. He looked at the wound again and grimaced at how much it had widened due to his exertion. Suddenly the door next to him opened and two U.S. soldiers appeared, one of them carrying a medics gear. “Hold still soldier I got you.” He said and began to take a look at the wound which Charles let him do, to confused and rattled by what was happening to put up any sort of resistance. The other man leaned against the wall and kept his eyes open for enemy soldiers.
A few minutes later the wound had been mostly patched up and the medic nodded that it was okay. But not a second later blood burst from his shoulder. “Sniper!” shouted the other solider and both him and Charles took off running for the debris of the guard post for better cover.
Charles looked back for an instant at the medic who outstretched a hand gently, “Help…meee…” he muttered before his head was almost disintegrated by the next sniper bullet. Charles didn’t slow down until he was behind the rubble, crawling on his belly toward the crushed APC. The other soldier was behind him and doing the same. They kept inching forward, when suddenly the crack of the sniper rifle went off again. Bits of dust from the concrete wafted up but not further harm seemed done. They were safe after all, they were behind cover.
But just to be sure he looked back, “You okay?” he asked but found only a twitching body behind him. The bullet had pierced right through the concrete and the man’s body armor with equal ease and hit his heart square. It was a lucky shot by their opponent but Charles didn’t take the time to give the sniper kudos. He sped his crawling, always fearing that occasional crack of the sniper rifle as it sprayed him with bits of concrete but fortunately was always a little over him or behind him.
Eventually he got to the APC and moved past that to the destroyed warehouse and back to the alley he had been in before. Judging from where the bullets had been coming from he felt he could get to the sniper without the sniper being able to see or, more importantly, shoot him. Lacking any other sort of direction he ran along the alley toward the building he believe the sniper to be in. He opened the door quietly and listened. The crack of the sniper rifle echoed through the building and he moved in but when the echo faded he stopped. He stopped his entire body even his breathing. When the next crack echoed he moved forward again, using the echo to cover up his sound as he moved toward where the sniper was. He went up the stairs and came to a door to what appeared to be another room. The crack sounded again and Charles was certain the sniper was there. Once more he waited for the crack, noting silently in his head that each time there was a crack, someone died… people where dying so that he could get a couple inches closer to this sniper.
The crack came and Charles pushed open the door and opened fire until his clip went empty. The sniper was beyond being recognizable. Charles looked out the window and noticed several U.S. APC were arriving and he ran down stairs to get to one. His sides still hurt and bled and it was more a fast limp than a true sprint.
One of the soldiers their waved him in,“Central ordered the retreat! Anyone else with you?”
Charles shook he head and the soldier nodded, “Well get on, soldier! We need to leave now! They have an airstrike coming in within minutes. If this base is going to fall then their won’t be anything left for them to have!”
Charles was on the APC with both the one who had picked him up, and another soldier, presumably from the base. He heard, echoing, from a distance, the sounds of the bombs going off. Burying that base in fire…burying the bodies of his comrades. And suddenly everything that he had seen, everything that he had done, in that base, in that battle, hit him all at once and his mind was stunned. He started crying. He hadn’t cried in so long, since he was a child, really. But now he bawled. He had killed. He had taken lives. Was he a monster? All he had wanted was to go to college? Why did this have to happen? All he wanted was to sit in his dorm room and read books. To sit there and be the kid that everyone turned to when they needed help with their homework but otherwise didn’t associate with because he was anti-social and kind of annoying. He had never wanted to be a soldier. Never wanted to see…that! Oh god! He had shot Magnum! He had shot him in cold blood! He was defenseless, but he had pulled the trigger all the same! Why? WHY? Nothing made sense. It was a series of events without a narrative to stitch them together. It was an apocalyptic revelation, with scatological imagery, with bodies and blood. Oh Sophia! Please Sophia! Place your healing hands on me the child sinful creature of your sinful creation! Please redeem this world! Though it doesn’t deserve it… Charles took the gun from his pocket. I’m sorry Sophia… tell your consort that I was not strong enough… Yaldabaoth has taken me and has broken me like so many twigs! He put the gun under his chin and closed his eyes.
He pulled the trigger. But it hit the wall behind him. The soldier that had waved him in was stand there, his hand pushing Charles gun aside, “Don’t do that you fool! You can’t just give up like that! Then all the men who died would have died for nothing!” Charles felt a cold, hard rage building up in him. Those men had died for SOMETHING! That…HORROR had some sort of PURPOSE!? This man was the fool! He hadn’t been there, he hadn’t seen how they died! Screaming, clutching at lost body parts, bleeding, heaving, convulsing, twisting, SCREAMING TO THEIR GODS!! Their could be no PURPOSE to their deaths… nothing good could come from that, nothing was WORTH that kind of evil! What feed off such suffering? Nothing! Only pain and misery! “Now, calm down and think things through. We’re all sol-“
The man was cut of as Charles bashed the butt of his pistol against his jaw. Charles felt the mandible shatter with his strike and he felt the rush of the other soldier in the APC, trying to pull him down but Charles turn and fired two bullets into his face and then shot three more into the man who had spoken to him with such LIES!
The driver of the APC looked back, “What’s going on?” and before Charles could think his rage acted for him and he shot him too, loosing four bullets, two of which struck the side of his face splattering blood and bone against the wind shield. The APC continued to drive but began swerving wildly. Charles screamed at what he had done and once more put the pistol under his jaw, this time to punish himself rather than to escape. He pulled the trigger. But this time there was only the click of an empty magazine.
In frustration he threw the gun against the side of the APC and struggling to maintain balance against the swerving of the APC he began to grab at the soldiers own side arm so he could use that. But before the could the APC crashed into something and Charles was knocked unconscious.

"Alright, let's get going. We better find your friend and make sure if he's dead or not." Issac put his helmet and face mask back on and grabbed his weapons and some supplies and moved out in the direction where he and 06 BETA came from. He began to speak, "So where did you lose you're friend? It can be very helpful if we check the last place you lost him." He turned his helmet's HUD on to prepare for anything that can pop up.

Light turned his body and made a dash for his home. He used his strong legs to jump back up the stairs and landed beside his door. Bullets hit the walls close to his head. Light ducked into his house and flipped over a table. Who could this be? Was it japan or was it the USA? Light knew that one day he would be discovered but today was not the day he thought it would happen. Once the bullets stopped, knew that the ones firing had to be reloading. Light run across the room and placed his feet on a button under his sink. The wall near his bedroom donor opened. Light walked into it and changed his clothes. He could hear the soilders getting closer to his door. Light grabbed his sword and exhaled. "All those that peddl to destroy the light of Japan will feel my warth!" Light ran a kicked the door open just as it was opening. Light growled and turned his body. He let his arm move on impulse. It drew his sword and but three bodies in half. Light landed beside the fallen door and blocked three bullets and them ducked under another. He grinned and jumped from his floor to the ground. Shots being fired as the fell. Two hit his back but were blocked due to his armor. Light hit the ground and drew his gun with his free left hand. He fired at a her tank and watched it explode. He jumped back and landed in a safe place. He would have to sit their and wait. He still needed help. Man his back was hurting. He would have to use his alpha eye he his back up didnt get their in time.

Jai'in looked around the room they were in, and found it easy to slip out and into another. There he found a decent clip knife, heavy duty and quite new. Casually he slipped it in his pocket and walked the hallways of the building. He knew he didn't have much time, but he took that time to see what he could and learn how the building worked. This building might be the place were he'll make his final blow, but it wasn't likely. He kept himself well near the outer halls before walking back towards the entrance.
Lo' and behold, who was standing there? Something inside Mannequin.. like Curiosity? It brought him into the building where he'd scope out his C.O. But he saw the little hate bringer and bent down, twisting his body around in ways impossible to humanity, and he crawled like an upside down dog before flipping back with legs in air and palms to the ground. He landed next to Jai'in and grasped him by the collar, the little boy hanging helplessly like being the puppet of the puppet. After so the being walked into the room were Aleister and the other were, seemingly enough to wait and see what was going on.

Light listened over his radio and found a signal. It was said that their was a flare that was fired close to his location. This people of have thought that he was one of the people that were attacking. It was a common mistake but he knew that it could cost many of there men their lives. Light shook his head with doubt and spinoff around his finding spot. He had been hinding behind a pillar and had enough time to notice and find all the weak spots on the enemies armor. If he hit those spots he could knock them all out and wall away with out killing them. After all they were not apart of his main mission. He didnt have to fight or kill them. So he will not. After three shots part his head and one hit his armored arm Light used both hands to push himself into the air. He blinked twice and his right eye turned into a machine. This was the alpha eye system. The body movements of his enemy came into his mind. Their was a strong amount of energy that was building in all of their arms. It was due to the fact that this was a organized attack. Each one was about to fire a round at him. Thinking about the pressure of the wind and how east he could move light predicted the path of the bullets and moved his body midair and positioned his body to dodge each shot. Light grinned as bullets flashed around his body and one hit each one of them in their shoulders above the blade and below any blood vessels. Light lande on the ground and turned to wall away. He didnt need help after all.

((ooc: Sorry for the delay!))
The Professor blinked in confusement at Jake's reasoning to choose Mia's present by spitting at the costume designs. He raised his brow at him and looked at the costume designs with Jake's salvia on it.
"Uhh... Ya didn't have to spit on them ya know... Could at least told me which one you like" The Professor grumbled at the last part, feeling a bit shunned as he was trying to make some sort of truce with the fellow as it would seem that he would be staying here, bounded in chains for a while. He mentally waved away Jake's threat. It was obvious to him that Jake could not do anything that could pose a threat except mere words. "Oh well! The Sexy French Maid one it is! Merci beaucoup~" The Professor chirpped as he kissed his own palm and blew it to Jake's side with a childish smile and returned back to work in a cheery matter. Putting up the volume of the grammaphone with Frank Sinatra again.
"Oh! My fav-our-ite song!" he exclaimed with excitement as he swayed in his swivel chair with a bright smile on his face.
I wanna dance... Don't ask me... I wanna dance... Madam with you~
"I'm back..." Mia called out as she entered into the lab with the automatic metal slab doors closing behind her. The Professor whirred around in his swivel chair, getting even more excited like a child who found a whole stash of candy in his parents' room.
"Mimi darling!!!! You're back!!!!" He cried out full of happiness that Mia had calm down and came back to the Professor's lair. He smiled wider as he noticed that she was holding his favourite meal- A burger with ox tongues, beef tripe, cow tendons, chicken and duck livers; with deer breast nuggets and wasabi flavoured fries as a side from WacDonald's. "WITH LUNCH!!! YAY!!! Mimi honey-bunny! I wuv you~!!" He yelled out with delight as he pushed the swivel chair from his desk, sending him sliding towards Mia in his swivel chair with wide open arms. Mia gave a deep sigh and took a step back, which made the Professor crashed into the metal walls with a loud 'BANG'. Lying on the ground with little stars cricling around his head, he slowly sat up on the floor at looked at Mia with a pouty look "Y-you're you're still mad at me aren't ya?"
"Yes" Mia replied coldly, making the Professor shrink back feeling the guilt weighing upon his shoulders. Mia rolled her eyes and threw the Professor's lunch at him. Sitting with his legs crossed on the floor, the Professor caught it and smiled as he smelled the wafting air of greasy fast food. He looked up at Mia with a grin, but it dissapated into a a confused look
"Who's that for?" he asked as he pointed at the smaller brown paper bag she was holding.
"For him" She replied as she walked towards Jake "Here" she said to Jake without giving him any eye contact or any acknowledgement while she placed the bag on his right side. Truth be told, as much as how the Professor wants Jake out of their lab. Mia wants him out too. Two's a company and three' s a crowd and Jake was a crowd. In addition to that she was still angry at him for the way he insulted her. Of course she knew his confusing situation, but throwing the blame at someone who also had no idea what was going on doesn't solve anything.
"Anyway, before I eat this yummy delicacy. I'm going to take a leak!" He chirpped as he stood up, placed his lunch on his desk and entered out of the labs as he skipped. Mia face faulted and twitched as the Professor mentioned he was going to the bathroom in an un-modest way
"I didn't need to know that!" Mia yelled, enough for the Professor to hear her, before the doors closed itself again
"Well you do now!! La-la-la-la-la-LA~!" He added just in time when the doors closed shut. Mia sighed again and removed her coat. Revealing her black one strap top, which showed her bare shoulders and her back.
"That man..." she grumbled as she shook her head and sat down on her chair at her desk. ATLAS twisted his head and hopped towards Mia on her desk, opening and shutting his eye shutters again
"BLEEEEEP! Temporary maintenance required BLEEEEEEP!"
"Aw! What did he do to you this time?" Mia exclaimed with slight annoyance, feeling tired of Professor's antics. She grabbed a screw driver and motioned ATLAS with the gesture of her free hand to come closer. ATLAS obeyed and did what he was asked.
"ATLAS deactivation mode commence"
"ATLAS deactivation mode commencing... BLEEEEP!" ATLAS replied as his eyes dimmed to nothing and his limps stopped moving and became lifeless. Ready for Mia to operate him.

OOC: I am damn well sorry for the delayed post. My home computer was being a jerk to meh and I can't get access at school. But hopefully this post gets through I'm sorry everyone.
BIC: Aleister heard Lisa mention her destruction of her sniper. In all truth it didn't suprise Aleister. He held no anger or remorse, sure he was puzzled. He slowly walked up to her, putting away his pistol for his offer was rejected. A twisted smile crossed his face, of corse this was his normal smile, trying to seem nice. "You seem as if you expect me to get violent. You know me too well, or prehaps you assume too much? Huh? anywho go ahead and change. BUT it you're not out I'm going to have to kill you. 10 minutes."
As he exited he started to laugh. What he said last wasn't true. He usualy made jokes about death, after all he WAS the "Angel of Death". What kind of twisted person wouldn't make a joke about their title? He sat there waiting, ignoring the fact the boy was not near him. As he waited he found his Zero-X Coat, and put it on. Moments later Lisa hopefully appeared out. After which he looked at her, "Ouh don't you look stunning enough to kill. Which I hope you're ready to do, for frankly we might be encountering....well actually I'm doing somethinig new. A stealth approach, hehe. But since account it is now somehow night...we best off get going." Aleister waved for her to follow. He knew somehow, like usual Manequin would follow like he always would. As he lead them to the left of the front door they approached a new garage. Within were two MFR Bikes, stealth equipped so the engines would make no noise. There were three, the bikes themselves were easy to operate. Once you sat on, in the middle of the handles was a small computer. You pressed a button labelled "Power On" and the bike started, then you could program in directions giving you the best route. "Just follow me, don't worry about programming in directions, once we're there however, we are splitting up into three different exits."
Aleister stared up his bike, and programmed the directins adding in a bonus to where the route would be almost invisible to the commoc citizens around. The path was on what seemed to be a dead street, shacks, slums, bummy kinda place. Almost no one was there. Finally they came to the outskirts of the building. That's when Aleister ordered them to split up and take in three different Exits, "The one we are looking for is now named Jake..." Aleister made a run down the hill, since he was in black so he was difficult to spot, however two soldiers posted to patrol saw him, yet frankly it was too late. Aleister made a leap, appearing behind one. The only thing the soldeir felt was a hand over his mouth and a arm around his neck. Aleister made a jerk, snapping it. When the other soldier turned around, Aleister drew his sword, the blade entering through the side of the neck, exiting out the other side clean. And since Aleister was sloppy on cleaning up his kills, he left them there. Approaching the side, luck be with him, a small window, big enough for him to get through was there, not too high up, but still reachable. Thrusting his blade into the side, he used it to propel him up, and through, fate also seemed to LOVE him for the room he landed in, Jake was there. When Aleister landed, his knees were bent to embrace impact, slowly he began to rise. then looking directly at Jake, "Ahh..."Jake" Been sooo long....why are you tied down?" Then Aleister looked at the other two...beings in the room, "And who are these worthless whelps?"

The boy was left to the building. He wasn't needed then and the puppet knew it then. He was locked up at the entrance with the guards watching him.
Mannequin could only relish the time ahead, for he knew it was his time to shine. Where Aleister made his way through the one exit in the side, it was his job to be the 'Distraction', and his approach wasn't too subtle at all. Even puppets could make a scene by themselves it seemed. He stood balanced on the bike as he approached the entrance from the main gate, two guard houses and a few barricades where his targets. He leaped off the bike flying high into the air, the bike crashing through the first barricade as the frontal guard opened fire.
A malicious laugh could be heard, so raspy, so... inhuman. "MWAHAHAHAHA! EYAHAHAHA! HEHEHE!" various tones of the laughter could be heard as his onslaught occurred, thrashing in a spin through the first two guards, using the blades that where stuck within them as a pivot to spin and kick them both away in a twist. Right then he ducked behind the first barricade, both his blades extending from the top side of his wrists shining brightly with the red painted blood such a sweet crimson. The assault rifles kept firing, and so he ran back into the fray, his body getting by near every bullet, many of them grazing his black wrapped body quite well.
But sadly he reached the second pair, and the second barricade, splitting one's head in half into stabbing the other like a mad man, his laughter still booming as it seemed like he was achieving Aleister's ideal, the ideal he found so.. complete. It was times like this where he was alive, his lumbering lanky tall form swaying between combatants, his skin or... shell taking damage as it would by the near fatal shots of the guards guns.
He would stay as long as he needed, as long as Aleister needed before he could extract the subject and pull out. But even so.. he would seem reluctant to leave at all. Soon enough he cleared enough of the front through his sleek and slick movements, he could easily take his vehicle out of there. He felt a direct hit at his arm.. his right.
Nothing but laughter was in place of the pain, the carnage and everything, the blood spilling down his mask was all his canvas to paint Aleister's ideal, and he was but the puppet to be as he would. He managed to leap his way up a guard building, launching a few razor strings into the ankles and wrists of a soldier, playing with his bodily functions like a puppet.
He used this puppet of a man to fire back at the guards, still trying better to buy his C.O. more time. Every second was the essence. He knew he'd have to pull out soon or risk full destruction.. but that didn't affect him at all. He knew no pain, and knew only one thing then. The canvas of human carnage, the bone and sinew clashing with the metals and blood spewed about in this serenade of chaotic revolution. He was... He was in bliss.. as far as a puppet could go.

OOC: STUPID CRAPPY SITE!!! I had to redo this stupid posyt twice because I forgot to copy paste like I usually do and it screwed up...grrr. Also my spelling might be really off I had to do the second post really fast.
BIC: Jake sighed as the professor didn't change his stupid act at Jake's rebellion. He just went on with his stupid theatricals. Jake figured this would be the case and sighed that he would have to deal with this fellow for he didn't know how long. If it wasn't his looney attitude that drove him insane it would definitely be that horrible old music the professor kept putting on.
Jake was kind of glad when Mia finally returned to the lab. he didn't really care much about the professor's reaction but he was simpyl happy that maybe somebody could keep that lunatic in check. He ignored the scene the professor pulled at her entrance. Jake decided to close his eyes and fake slepeing until things settled down. It was way easier then to have to deal with the awkward situation that would arise with Mia.
He reopened his eyes when he felt something fall close to him. It was a small brown bag and according to what he had heard there was food in it. Jake looked at the bag and hten back at his chains and couldn't help but let out a tired laugh. It was obvious he wouldn't be able to eat it in his present situation but it didn't matter he wasn't really hungry after all that happened to him. "Thanks anyways..." He managed to say.
However, for some odd reason Jake felt like he shoudl at least try to thank Mia by at leats trying to eat the food. He kicked the brown bag over and wiht a few kicks he managed ot get the food out of the bag. He then instinctively reached for the bag with his hands and too late remembered the situation he was in. His hands stopped as Jake's chains mad ehtei rpresence obvious once again. There was no way he would be able to eat considering his hands could go no farther then a feet from the wall. Jake then gave up knowing full well he would never manage it.
He then heard Mia say: "What did he do now?" She was obviously refering to the professor and he couldn't help but feel a bit guilty for the accusation. He had been the one to bust up ATLAS but he wasn't about to open his mouth now. He decided he would admit to it when the time was more appropriate and when she didn't want to kill him already. Jake looked at the food, at Mia who was working with ATLAS and at the chains that looked his body in place and laughed internly. Well at least it can't get worst. Right?
Wrong!
Not even a minute had passed that his thought had been already challenged. A man jumped through a window Jak ehad never noticed and landed not too far from him. The man was obviously trouble. Jake was shocked by his sudden appearance but that passed quickly. The fear that the man instored in Jake stayed long after that. The man was carryign a sword that had obviously just been put to good use and as he spoke his words seemed to vibrate with malicious intention.
The man smelt of blood and death. Staring into his eyes was liek staring into a mirror of your own death. This guy was obviously not good news but it didn't stop there. What was it with everyone knowing his name! Yesterday there wasn't a soul outside of his immediate entourage that would have given a damn if he lived or died and now he had been kidnapped by his government, locked in a lab to be experimented on and now this man reaking of death seemed to know him personalyl aswell.
Jake couldn't shake the feeling that he had seen this man somewhere though. Then it hit him and the shock made Jake try to pass through the wall behidn him. He was one of the men from his nightmare. He was one of the shadows that followed the destruction. But that was stupid, it made no sense. How could someone form his nightmare of ultimate apocalypse be standing infront of him right now.
But Jake's body seemed to know somehtign he didn't he couldn't stop staring at him, he couldn't stop the fear from paralyzing him him even more then the chains that held him in place. However, the outline did fit, he did seem to look like one of them and he just somehow KNEW that it was him. ANother terrifyign thought hit him right after he finally acknowledged that it might be true, that it might be him. The fact that if he was real then maybe the others were real too. Maybe he would be facing the others who he had nicknamed in his thoughts the riders of the apocalypse. Based off the old story of the 4 riders that brought the apocalypse with them.
Jake quickly nicknamed the man: War would be his name in his thoughts. Jake was pretty sure it was irrelevant what he named him in his thoughts considering how long his life would continue for at this rate but he nicknamed him that none the less.
Jake finally managed to speak after a few long seconds that fel tliek longer in his head. His voice was shaky and lacked any kind of conviction but it was a start. "Who are you? And what does everyone want with little ol' me?" Jake still couldn't understand how HE, a small village kid, could be thrown in a situation like this and every passing hour seemed to make the situation worst. He was now facing a living version of his nightmare.
Then his next thought was hwo did this man get in here. He was definitely not supposed to be here. The thought after that was for the two scientists in the lab. Of course he didn't like the professor and Mia and him had gotten to a rough start but they didn't deserve to die and by the man's tone and intentions it was obvious that they were in danger. Commotion could now be heard outside of the lab. SOmethign was going on and Jake wondered what it was. WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN INTO!!!

Light could only laugh as he reached the spot where the flare was shot. He watched as the clean up was still in full effect. Someone had did a number on there men. It was amazing that someone with that much skill was close to him. Could it be a Zero X? He didnt know he his information was right then he ya close to his target. Light disappeared into a building close to the killing set. He looked around for any sign of the enemy. There was nothing for him to find. Light shook his head in disappointment. This was one of the drawbacks of his life. It was so hard to find a good nippon and tilt carry it out. Light slowly stood up and exhaled. Their was a crack from behind him. Someone was coming. Light quickly disappeared just as a soilder walking into the building where he just was. Light continued his mission.

Both Krieg and Arisa arrived at the local city.On the ground laid the dead bodies of police officers. In front of them, Riot Officers were doing the best they could to fend off the armed rebels. One of the M.F.N officers who was assisting the Officers, noticed Krieg, and called them over. They had managed to set up a barricade but some of the rebels were very heavily armed, a few even having RPGs(Rocket-propelled Granades)
"Schwartz, I'm glad you can make it."He said.He slightly glared at Arisa.Apparently, he was one of the superiors who was watching Arisa during the exams. He was very dissapointed that Arisa had lost control of herself and fell into a coma."
Ignoring the Officer's glare she asked him,"What's the situation?"
"Obviously we're having a very rough time, although some of the rebels are just plain everyday civilians, we also have some traitors amongst their ranks. The problem is distinguishing the civilians from the rebels. They blend it almost perfectly well with the civilians. They aren't completely armed to the teeth, but they have a rocket launcher here and there."
A rebel tried to break through the barricade, Arisa quickly fired her assault rifle at him, sending him crashing into the ground right next to them.
"How's the militia?Don't tell me they've been eliminated as well?"Krieg asked him.He turned his head to his left, and saw a soldier staring at him, he nearly jumped up when he noticed Krieg staring back.
"Don't mind him, he's just a rookie, he doesn't know who you are, and you dont know who he is.The militia's ranks has dwindled, only a good three or four men are left."
"RPG!!!"The soldier next to them yelled, pointing to a soldier on the rooftops
"Damn!"Arisa muttered, quickly getting into a sniping position, quickly searching for the soldier. She finally located the rebel,on the rooftops. He was almost in position to fire."There!!"She pulled the trigger. The soldier dropped the RPG and fell off the roof, hearing a loud "thud" when he hit the ground.
"Apparently we can't stay here for too long, we need to break through."
"Roger that."Krieg said.

She said nothing as she followed aleister and mannequin. after the bike ride and at the exit she realised she had no weapon, she sighed "geuse i have to use that technique again"she muttered and shuddert. sighing she straigtend her back and walked towards the guard with a sway in her hips "hello boys" the guards lowered there weapons at the sight that she was harmless "you are on forbidden property madame" lisa pouted "i wanted to ask for help my bike isent working anymore" one of the guards stood before her. she inwardly smirked as he was checking her out "i would love to help" lisa gave a shy smile as he leaned a bit to her "and i want.." suddenlt she grabbed his pistol and shot his partner. he turned shocked and she kneed him in crouch and shot him. she mutterd something abou men only thinking with there genetalia and she slipped in.

Light continued to walk. He had slipped by the enemy for now, but he was still in trouble. Their were a few Zero-X soilders around. He could feel it. A women he he was right. She was close. If he could just pin-point her location them he could find her. Just them his arm band flashed. It picked up two shots. The shots were over 3 miles away. Light made a sprint for the location. He part a few buildings and ducked into a alley. He uncovered his custom hovercycle. He progremed his arm band into it and it showed where the sound water of the pistol came from. Light shot off going over 100 miles an hour. He would be their in ten minutes. His alpha senses were going wild. This would be his first true incounter with a Zero-X.

lisa had a bad feeling in her gut, it kinda felt like the time a mission went bad because of one of the x-soldiers went crazy and it wasent aleister. She peeped around corners and knocked more people out than she actualy killed when alleister wasent around she prefert to do that, it saved time and left de organisation to deal with less mess to clean up. She came into a controle room from security and looked at the screens 'aleister where are you?' she glanced at screens but didn't see him. Growling in annoyance she banged her hands on the desk 'they just had to put him in a room without a camera didn't they'. she knew aleister better than anyone if the guy did not give the answers he liked he was daed.

Mia paused in her operation on ATLAS as she heard a few rustling and fiddling of what it seem to sound like a paper bag in Jake's direction. But as she turned around to Jake, she saw a man jumping through the bullet proof anti-bombing glass window all covered in blood, shattered glass and instinct to kill. She quickly jumped out of her swivel chair with her back against the desk, supporting herself from her trembling knees shaking from the dangerous man who spoke to Jake.
'J-J-Jake...? What's going on here?' She thought to herself as she blinked at Jake and then at the bloodied man with a gulp. Mia's whole body quivered as the strange man spoke to her. She quickly grabbed onto the edge of her desk, supporting herself from falling numb to her knees. She looked at the man in fear, like a deer about to be road killed in the middle of the night. She couldn't reply to the man. Her voice would not allow it. In her mind she started to panic, not knowing what to do. Suddenly she felt a gun underneath the desk. Without turning her head, she glanced at the alarm bell near the entrance of the automatic doors.
'Professor...'
She took in a couple of breaths and quickly unhooked the gun from the desk and pointed it at the man in blood with boths hands and fired with her eyes closed. The bullet went off track and embedded itself at the wall, above the intruder's head.
"D-D-D-Don't move! O-or or I-I'll shoot...." Mia spoke as if it had been years that she had forgotten to speak. Her hands holding the gun trembled so much that she had to narrow her eyes to concerntrate to aim her next shot at the bloodied man. She didn't want to kill anyone, but at the same time she didn't want to die. Never in her life had she ever felt fear this frightful let alone realising that this could be the end of her.

"First there was God."
Charles leaned back against the couch as he watched the man in front of him. He didn't really remember much about the man but he didn't feel like there was much about him that he ought to remember. He had been dull, gray and boring from the moment he had met him. Some self described atheist who tended to look at his Gnostic sensibilties as a sign of mental imbalance... and maybe Charles did have a slight mental imbalance but his choice in religions wasn't the problem. But saying anything about that then would have been giving the man a head started and he wanted this man to suffer for each tidbit he uncovered. This wasn't a game, no no no. This was to serious a thing to be some mere came. This was a battle, a fight. Just as...no...even more surely then the ones Charles had been sent here for starting. And not just because he might actually win this one. "I'd like to start off are first by getting to know you. You don't mind that do you?"
"No"
"And then there was the first emanation of God. The Mother-Father Barbelo. And in due time the whole of the Pleroma came into being from the smallest souls to the greatest of Aeons"
"Your a junior correct?"
"yes"
"You are fourteen years of age?"
"yes"
"You skipped two years?"
"No three. I was expelled last year from the school I was at..."
"Ah..."
"Among the Aeons was Sophia. She desired to have a child but she decided to commit this act without her consort... without god. What she produced was a miscarriage. Yaldabaoth"
Several weeks later...
"...But you don't understand! This is a sin! A sin!"
"Why is sex a sin?"
"Because it defaces you! It is a bowing of the mind to the body, of the spirit to the flesh. Flesh is a sin... a false creation... an utter abomination against all things. It is like having a king bow to a peasant... like having an angel enslaved by a demon. It is wrong on every level. The mind is the gift that humans bear, is it not what seperates us from the beasts? And every evil act the mind has caused it has been due to the mind acting a slave to the body! When the mind destroys itself to serves lust, paranoia, sloth, gluttony, or any such irrationality. And you ask me why sex is a sin? Because sex destroys the mind! Destroys my precious thing... my only redeeming attribute... if I had sex... I would be the most fell of beings."
"And these fits of rage are better? If you were not so weak that when you succumb you tend to get beaten senseless then people would realize that you actually start the fast majority of the fights your in! And thats why you keep getting expelled... because you refuse to bend!"
"What does that have to do with sex?"
"Yaldabaoth was arrogant. He thought that he was the only true god and he wanted to make a world of his own. But he could not. Every creation he made was a failure.
"It relates to sex two fold. One is as cause one is as fellow symptom. First is that you don't have sex, you don't masturbate, you repress ever sexual stimulus your body feels. Do you know what happens to all those pent up emotions? All that tension? It has to be released somewhere, doesn't it? Your emotional difficulties developed once you hit puberty is that no true? Your so sexually frustrated your become more easily frustrated by everything else, thats why you snap at people when they make even the most minor errors. You grip the emotional immaturity about you like a cloak and are using it to hide from the fact that your still a child. Sure, you can right thesis about why... who was it? Clement of Alexandria? Why he disagreed with any given coptic gospel but you can't relate to people?
Second, both of these problems are caused by your unflinching stubbornness. This is the real world Charles. Nobody can be a paragon in every respect you can't have such lofty standards of the world."
"I'd rather watch the world burn then give up on it." Charles replied, "Or myself... I don't care what you say... If there is no paragon... no god... then I will become him. If there is no such thing as wisdom... I will be wise.
Your kind of atheist make me sick... I was an atheist once... and maybe in my heart I still am. But the difference between me and you is that I still have a god... hes me."
"This is your problem. You attack other peoples beliefs... thats why you get in so many fights, why you get beaten up all the time."
"At least I don't attack ad hominum!"
"However Yaldabaoth stole from Sophia a trace of her breath and bequethed it to his creation and mankind was born."

Light was closing in. In the back of his mind his thought were traveling faster then he was. A large building came into view. It was weird he was this close to them but noone ice sounded an alarm. Light came up with two ideas. One: that this was a trap and that if he wasn't careful he would be dead before he knew it,and Two: That this was their latest mission and that he would be walking into a trap. No matter what he would be in trouble. Light stopped the cycle and jumped from it. He was wearing all black. He pushed to the side of the building and jumped up to a ledge where he found two bodies. Both killed by a sword or a blade. Their was a Zero-X solider here. He was close to him. He knew it. Light entered the building through the window and looked right at a camera. He grinned and fired a shot at it. The bullets echo traveled through the building. Light smiled and ran down the hallway towards the control room. This was ironic. This felt like any of the other missions he had been on. This one was only different due to the fact that he he didnt think before he acted he would be dead. Light continued to ran down the never ending hallways. He didnt know where he was going, but the fact still remained that he was a solider and that he had a job to do. Light looked up for the first time and found a large board that read: CONTROL ROOM TWO ROOMS DOWN THE D-BLOCK. Light was close. He turned and headed down the D-block. He made a right before come to a stop infront of the control room. He didnt know what was awaiting him but he would face it with no fear in his heart. Light slowly opened the door and was covered by the light that signed fro inside.

Elle finished reading an old article, the color drained away from her face. From everything she had learned about the Zero X-solider they were retrieving led her to one conclusion. He knew nothing of his past and had no one. If he wasn't treated carefully he would turn on everyone, his emotions would not be able to handle the stress of meeting the other Zero X-soliders. Elle raced out of her room grabbing the few possetions that she had. She swung one her leg over the seat of a bike. As she did this three bikers sped past her giving off the essences of terror and war. Every sense in her body told her to run from those horrible monsters, but she fought through it and raced after them. It took all the strength and discipline she had accumulated over the years to not stop and let go of her dinner.
Arriving at the building that she had only just visited this morning Elle lost control of her bowls. Blood was spune everwhere, so much that it was obvious that there was more then one dead. She retrieted to the next door building knowing she would only find more of this if she entered through fastest entrances. When Elle reached the roof she stoped, trying to regain control over herself.
Breezes swriled around her like old friends calming her, cooling her heated skin. Silently she thanked them as she ran to the edge of the building jumping and landing unsteadily on the gravel roof. Everything looked as it had been the morning before only cloaked in darkness. Elle practically flew to the door her mouth set in a stuborn position under a determind brow.
Without regard for what she was doing Elle kicked the door down. Bringing out a handheld computer she thought about all the innocent scientist below, even the officers were doing right by their own country. With a few clicks almost all the electronic doors in the building locked. They wouldn't open for three more hours, that to her didn't seem to bad. Along with the doors she turned off the all security cameras sending a virus through the whole system that would require days even weeks to clean up. With that she headed down the stairs.
When Elle reached her destination she worried about how to reason with what things she might meet. Elle banished all thoughts and opened the door. Inside she found a a scientist, the young man that was her quarry, and a young women holding a gun in the air, trembling with fear. It was pointed at him. She shivered at the sight of him, her body going numb. He was all that her parents told her he was. A heartless killing machine, the "Angel of Death".
Elle gulped and stepped forwad pain shooting throughout her body just being near him. He though was eeirly familiar, something about him was just so close. Elle eyes stayed transfixed on Aleister as she said, "Miss you don't want to shoot him, it won't do much good. Take your friend here and go, you have no chance of survival if you don't. We only came to bring a comrade home. And as I can see you don't look like your very interested in him as it is." With that Elle raced over to Jake taking out a pen. Pushing a small button a flame erupted from its tip. Quickly she cut threw the metal that bond Jake to wall saying this over her shoulder," Aleister he doesn't remeber anything, he might have flashes, but he probably thought of them as something other then reality. If you do not control yourself we might loose him as an ally. I'm sure he has been mistreated here and just wishes to know what is going on." Taking a breath to relax she tugged on the chains that kept Jake captive, they gave with little struggle. "Aleister you need to get us out of here, NOW." Elle said sternly. Something inside said that she was running on adrenilen and she wouldn't last forever. Elle turned to Jake with earnest blue, gray eyes and said," Hi, I've come to help. I'll explain everything when we get out of danger, but you have to trust me." Without a word Elle grabbed his hand and pulled him toward the door. "Come on Angel finish your mission," she said looking tiredly at the man in black.

Lisa was about to use the microphone to call out for aleister when a camera broke "whate tha?" the gun shot ringed through her ears and she looked to the door when someone opend it. she glared at light and aimed the handgun she aquired from the guard outside "who are you" she knew this was bad being the angel of asasination it ment she was used to killing from great distances, she wasent trained for closed combat. she blinked when the door behind them fell closed and the camera's went out, she paled.

Light had a gun pointing right at his chest. This was nothing new to him. Over his countless missions and the many times he had to kill someone he had had up to ten guns pointed at him at one time or another. Light heard the women ask who he was. Light had the nerve to just draw the crimson blade from his back and cut her arm off, but something was different about this girl. She looked smart and if this was a mission for the Zero-X's then this was the best spot to check for the enemy and to warn her allies. Light had to think fast. " My name is Light. I am an allie of Japan and the USA. Now who are you and could i ask he the name Zero-X means anything to you?" Light knew that if she was one of them she couldn't let someone that knew about the Zero-X project to leave this place alive. Light had now placed the bait, all he had to do now was wait for her to fall into his trap.

Lisa narrowed her eyes "why do you wish to know about zero x" her eyes switched from large to tiny point leaving alot of white and turned back to normal. She blinked when al to familiar burning feeling started griting her teeth she forced her eyes to stay eventhough tears started to drop from her eyes worsening the burn. She had special eye drops for this irritation when the changes between the sight were used to much her eyes got overloaden and started to hurt a downside to the drops was that she would be blind for atlist three days "you only find death if you know to much.." she could only hope the guy would get the hint and leave her alone beside she had no way to contact aleister at the moment.

Light knew it. She messed up. She was a Zero-X. Light narrowed his eyes and blinked twice and his right eye flashed red before Light used his metahuman speed to make a dash to the womens left side. Light drew his alpha pistol and diEd three shots. One towards her head one told her gun and one toward her left leg. Light was ready to block in coming bullets. His right hand still gripped his sword handle. It's sheath was ready to be empty.

As best as she could she gave Light a glare "your wasting your time with me, if you wish to fight a real x-zero soldier find aleister" sinking to the ground she kept eye contact "i don't even wanna be here, i was dragged back into something i never wanted to be a part off". Light knew that he had to be a Zero-X. Light laughed and blinked his eyes. They returned to normal and Light exhaled. "Tell him that if he is ready to did then come and find me!" OOC:If nothing makes sense...whatever.This was kinda rushed.
A rocket fired overhead, the officer peeked over and saw a Rocket launcher in the distance, obviously the barricade wasn't going to last very long.
Krieg looked over to Arisa, who had a confident look on her face...he knew what she was going to do.
Arisa's eyes turned red.Everything in her vision went black...only seeing red lines...which were the silhouettes of objects and people. She stared at the barricade, lines all over it....she found a certain line, and sliced it with her knife. The barricade shattered in half and broke into pieces.Arisa quickly dashed forward.
"Haunenfuss!!What the heck are you doing?!!"The officer said surprised.
"Shut up, Ivankov."She yelled back to him, as she continued to run.She quickly dodged the bullets that were being fired in her direction. She quickly killed the soldiers as she ran pass them.A couple of rockets fired at her, Arisa quickly took cover...and she continued to sprint forward as her cover was destroyed. Finally reaching the rocket launcher, multiple lines appeared on it, within her vision. In the middle was a dot."If I pierce it..."She whispered. She thrusted her knife into the dot.
The young rookie and Ivankov could not believe what they were seeing. The Rocket launcher trunk suddenly seemed to fall into pieces...like it was meant to happen.
Arisa's eyes returned back to it's original color. She clenched her head tightly with one hand."Damn it...I think I've gone too far this time.."She said in her normal tone. Her knees slowly hit the ground, but Arisa carefully got back up."If I use it anymore today...I'll surely get myself killed."Arisa muttered.

"And Sophia returned to the Pleroma and was redeemed. The Pronoia had reascended, and to her son Yaldabaoth was Zoe, child of life, bequethed as consort so that even he, most fell of Archons, may be redeemed in his kind. And the great god, Yeshua, asked Sophia to descend once more to the material world and give to the children of Yaldabaoth the gift of gnosis. So that they too could no salvation and return to the Pleroma."
Why had he been dreaming of his younger days? He didn't like to remember himself back then, it was not the proudest moment of his life. He had been so righteous then, and he couldn't say he wasn't now, but the flush of his teenage angst had passed and the grip of the hormones had receded and he was calmer now than he had been before, for which he was grateful. He still tended to snap at idiots but he was less preachy. How did that song go, "I was so much older then/ I'm younger then that now"
He opened his eyes and the world around Charles gradually return, this time undercut with thick waves of neon pain that screamed softly within him. His thoughts trembled with confusion as vision and sight, imagination and reality, conflicted for dominance over his mind. He kept seeing blood, seeing Magnum trying to put his jaw back into his skull, kept seeing the man he'd killed his brains smeared across the floor, the medic that had healed him... all these things he saw and he could not seperate them from the blood covered APC interior he was in now.
It took him some length of time to regain control of his thoughts, how long he did not dare venture but he could tell through the holes in the broken up APC that when he emerged once more into the realm of the living it was now dark outside. But he could not sit he wondering forever, so after he had gotten his thoughts together he began working on escape. First, he needed a light source and from his gear he pulled flashlight, for once thankful for the loads of standard issue gear he had been forced to carry with him since his first days in the army.
He flipped it on and almost instantly regretted it. He saw the bodies of the people that he had...murdered, in his fit of rage. Blood smeared the floor where their bodies had twitched after the consciousness had fled the body before the last bits of animation had been stripped. The windshield of the APC was covered with blood of the driver which had seeped into the cracks caused by their collision, with what Charles could not discern. Swallowing the rising nausea, and know that at worst he would have dry heaves, Charles pressed on. I never thought I'd ever be glad I already threw up.
He found what he had been looking, a small first aid kit and he sat down in the "shotgun" position of the APC. He looked at the bandage that had been tied around his midsection, its once white cloth now red with blood. He peeled it away and looked at the wound, still bloody but thankfully beginning to clot. He pour some hydrogen peroxide over the gash, his teeth clenching at the sting of it, and then wrapped a new cloth around his abdomen once more.
His entire body stiffed when he heard voices outside. Listening with his entire body, he could pick out the sounds and instantly realized that the language being spoken was no form of English and definitely not French. Maybe German or Russian but he wasn't enough a linguist to be able to make that distinction. Either way they were probably not allies so he slipped down and sequestered himself behind some of the bent metal of the crash.
The voices grew louder and he could hear the back door of the APC being opened and two men stepping into it. Suddenly two piercing beams of light began scanning through the darkness of the APC and Charles pushed himself deeper into the corner he had found himself in order to avoid being seen. The two men continued their conversation, obviously not thinking that they would find anyone alive in here. One of the mens heads poked out from behind the drivers seat and began training his flashlight on various parts of the dashboard. Charles watched as the flashlight gradually inched its way to his niche and his mind screamed and panicked. He felt the blood pumping in his ears and gradually a numbness spread over him from lack of breathing. I don't want to die. Please Sophia don't let me die.
Suddenly the flashlight shifted to the body of the driver and the man grimaced and backed away, saying something in his native language to his cohort.Gradually the sounds of the two men faded and silence returned once more to the APC but Charles continued to wait. Not wishing to take any chances that the two men had decided to just wait outside the APC silently.
After sometimes though he slipped back out of his niche and, listening intently for sign of the two soldiers, began to sneak out of the APC. Before he did though he opened the medical unit again and took a MRE (Meal Ready to Eat) out and devoured the tasteless substance that was the "entree" before tearing into the package of N&Ns that were the "desert". He ate quickly and sloppily but he didn't care about table manners at that point. Eating and leaving were his primary concerns.
Taking another ration for later he slipped out of the APC and stole away into the darkness. He moved as quickly as he could while not making noise, which was, to his measure, an agonizingly slow pace. But he didn't want to risk being heard, or more importantly, missing the sounds of other enemy soldiers that might be in the forest which he had found himself in. The trees provided ample cover for him but they also hid percieved enemy covert ops specialists. Charles was having visions of one of those ninja-esque characters from one of JBs horrid animes. Of course it would be some sort of silly "bio-modified solider" given equally silly powers like teleportation or what not and who could easily make mincemeat of grunts, such as himself. He would probably wear only black with a single blood red lens of some sort of tracking camera that shined in the darkness and was the only sign of his presence. Charles stopped this line of thought. He was scaring himself senseless with fictions.
There was no such thing as biological soldiers. The concept was inherently idiotic. Why make a super soldier when you can make a better nuke? A more efficient bomb? A faster jet? A stealth bomber with a smart bomb could take out fifty supersoldiers no matter what they did. Sure in JBs little animes the soldier would cut the bomb in half before it hit him but thats only because stylistic animes didn't take into accout that A) bombs explode on time delays and rarely on impact anymore and B) cutting its would typically set off the warhead anyway. See? So there were no "super soldiers". That was just an archaic idea for bad sci-fi films right? He didn't feel comforted for some reason.
