wgat's the point of yu-gi-oh gx?

I mean I don't see yugi anywhere it's like a whole nother show basically why call it ''yu-gi-oh'' when I don't see yugi anywhere.

Mostly true, it was also I believe to both expand on the world and Takahashi's way of keeping interest in the series with an established mythos but without risking canon until he wrote R.

Kazuki Takahashi supervises the story of GX, in addition to writing Yu-Gi-Oh! R.

Mostly true. But you can atleast see yugi in the first episode if im not misstaking?
I think that whole gx is just annoying. I mean nobody likes it? So why couldnt they continued on were they took of? Yami/Atemu could have returned after some years or so (cause he needed their help with something?) and everyone would be happy!

Now all are just angry and dissatisfied.... :(

I take offense to the comment "Nobody likes GX."

I like it a great deal more than the original; The decks are built with some semblance of realism, the story has gotten better over time, and anyone that disagrees with those two points clearly watched about one episode and decided to fanboy/fangirl rage at it.

GX had some killer plays and a few good story arcs but the charactors' they kinda suck

Well guys I know we all luv Yugi but we gotta admit that the GX series are better cuz the decks are constructed based on a strategy while in the first series there isn't a strategy or a card that is used as an foundation for the decks.:)

I think the basic thing to Yu-gi-oh is to make up strategies as you waste money on cards you think you'll get.

Uh... the people who say it has no plot most likely haven't seen past the first season. So like... watch it before making such accusations if you're gonna do so. (I myself haven't seen much, but I know what it's about basically and the plot does enhance...)

Also to the person who said "no one likes it"... Don't say that unless you've literally asked EVERYONE in the world. Cause I know a lot of people who do like it so that sentence just doesn't make sense.

Stop making all these ad hominen accusations too, to whoever has been making any.

Personally, I'm not too into the storyline cause I haven't been watching it, but I like the characters a great deal to work with them and use them for fanwork and such... It's to satisfy these kinda of fans that it exists, so... People who DON'T like GX aren't the only people in this world; please keep that in mind. :]
