I'm in love with the ending credits from the new series. I don't really like the opening though. I think it's exceptionally clever, because it's Ed and Al literally writing their own story. It's very cool.
As for my favorite opening, my favorite opening song is Ready, Steady, Go, but my favorite opening over all is the third one because I like the way the animation goes with the music more than for the second opening.

I think I agree with the opening, but the closing for me has some strong competition from the second one 'Tobira No Mukō He' I think its called. But they are both great songs... And yes - the closing for 'brotherhood' - how well put together is that!?
