personally, i think that they should acknowledge each other as brothers..........but i would love to see what the rest of you think

It is like many brother-brother relationships. They have little in common and only think of reasons to dislike eachother.

Yep, I agree. That's how it was with my sister and I and it still is. We don't have a lot in common, so we tend to not get along very well. Whereas I get along great with my brother, cause we have a lot .n common. But, I do agree that they should at least try to get a long somewhat...after all they're the only family they have.

Either are Youkai. One a Hanyou, one a purebred. Both hate each other for obvious reasons. Kthnxbai.

They are brothers. They just don't get along. They may have stuff in common but of course they only think badly of each other and also because sesshomaru so badly believes Inuyasha's sword should be his.

they absolutely hate each other, it needs to stay that way because otherwise inuyasha would have aboring life. =x

Well I can sorta relate.I'm a girl but I do have a older brother and we totally hate each other.

It bothers me when they fight over beating Naraku... I think that if they were to work together they'd have a much better chance of actually beating him. I wish they'd just get over it and get along.

I just have a younger brother which has different 14 years of age, so yahh.. I dont really understand. I have 2 sisters but we dont have a lot of fights. Maybe they have something that makes them cant get along and have a better relationship. It's just my opinion though.

I get along very well with my one and only sibling, my sister, I love her very much, but that's hardly the point.
We all get why Sesshoumaru hates InuYasha, but I think the only reason InuYasha hates Sesshoumaru is because he hates him. InuYasha never seeks out Sesshoumaro just to have a fight with him, like Sesshoumaro does with him. InuYasha would probally be willing to have a postive relationship with Sesshoumaro if Sesshy showed him kindness and compassion. I think that InuYasha wishes for that because he, InuYasha, knows so little about his father, it seems, and he wishes that Sesshy would act as that tie to his past. Plus, those who've kept up with the manga know that, InuYasha is very aware that he can only bring down Naraku completly with Sesshy's help.
At the end of it all, I think that Sesshy will understand InuYasha, and they will make peace. Maybe never want to go out and have beers or stand around talking about nothing in a garage, like brothers do, but at least no longer fight with the other.
