I use 2 cameras...one is mine and a relative piece of junk (but servicable for my typical needs) - Kodak Easy Share C633 (not so easy to share in my opinion) and the other is a fairly decent one that I borrow from my mum - Olympus C-740 Ultra Zoom (which having been dropped and repaired doesn't quite work like it used to--the zoom that is)
You may remember my caterpillar/butterfly pics....the Olympus is the one I used to take all my pics...am still using.
I've a whole new batch for this year.

i have 2 cameras, one is older but works well takes decent pictures. its a kodak easyshare CD33, this is the one ive been useing for all of my picutres that ive posted. i also have a casio exilimz600 i havent had the chance to really use it yet but i will eventually.

Anyway, I have 1 somehow working, and 2 working cameras. The somehow working one is a damn old Nikon one, analog of course, completely manual ...
The 2 working ones are Canon EOS 5 (analog) and Sony DSC-W5 (digital).

Heh well my current camera is a Canon 30D, most of my shots are taken with a 24-105L f/4 IS lens, but I have a bunch of other lenses on hand also depending on if I know what I plan to be shooting.

Photography ... That doesn't mean taking-random-shots-with-camera ... it means picking the right composition, right camera settings for the best quality you can make, as well additional correction in graphic programs. Well, I know that most compact cameras are damn limited (man I hate this x_x), but most of that can be corrected in Photoshop (or any other graphic programs).

As a comod of this forum, I'd like to see more quality over quantity ;)

I have a simple Canon ixus 60 and I always carry around my phone, that way I can make crappy snapshots xD

I've had other cam's in the past, but what shall I say, I have slippery fingers..

And I'd love to have a better cam than this one, for instance a Canon 400D.

And I take random pictures and try not think about it too much, I like taking quick snapshots best. This way I can just pick and choose the best one.

I went for small when it came to my camera because I didn't want to lug around something too heavy. I use a Ricoh Caplio R4. It has very good zoom for its size (7.1) and many features to fiddle with. I hate digi cams that don't let you change the speed and such. >.<;

The ones I've already posted (and any pictures I've taken in the last few years) were taken with a Canon PowerShot A80. I loved that little thing.

I'm in the process of acquiring a Canon PowerShot Pro Series S3 IS (I don't feel I'm ready for anything beyond a point-and-shoot ^^; ), so that's what future pictures will be taken with.

Edit: I hear you Wizzy. I love Canon, but it's overpriced out here in 'stralia. My family is helping me get one shipped out here. So that helps.

Wow. Iggy Pop made a photography forum. Awesome. And since I'm taking Photography I as part of my semester, I'll probably be posting a lot of my projects in here for you guys to see before I turn them in, so I can redo them if everyone votes they wont get me a good grade.

Anyways, I'm using a Nikon N2020 SLR. Although I really want to try a double lens reflective. I have a wide angle and a tele lens, as well as the regular. I <3 my cable release.

And I agree with Kaitou Ace and Wizzy. I don't simply shoot. I look for compositions and angles. Though I'm not into any photography course, I know a little about photographing.
Heck, I've done one of my assignments that I have to take a shoot for art stuff. And my lecturer was pleased that I manipulated the photo to a photo-feel like. XP

I use a simple camera phone Olympus C-740 Ultra Zoom, and a Camera - Kodak EasyShare C-530 5.0 Mega Pixels, I like it 5x zoom, 45 minute record video. It's fair for me, i need to buy a new one though.
