Well first things first, while I try to figure out the proper way of doing things in this forum, in this thread, post what your camera is, make and model ^_^ I'd like to get a feel for what equipment people have, and it'll be a must for contests to have that info here, so I can see if the photos you post were taken with the camera you have O_o;

My Samsung phone. To basically layout it out for you, it's a piece of crap.

I have an Olympus E-500 DSLR ^_^
08-31-2007, 12:43 AM
I use 2 cameras...one is mine and a relative piece of junk (but servicable for my typical needs) - Kodak Easy Share C633 (not so easy to share in my opinion) and the other is a fairly decent one that I borrow from my mum - Olympus C-740 Ultra Zoom (which having been dropped and repaired doesn't quite work like it used to--the zoom that is)
You may remember my caterpillar/butterfly pics....the Olympus is the one I used to take all my pics...am still using.
I've a whole new batch for this year.

Olympus make some pretty awesome cameras ^_^

Blah, I wouldn't call a cell phone's camera a photo camera ~_~
Anyway, I have 1 somehow working, and 2 working cameras. The somehow working one is a damn old Nikon one, analog of course, completely manual ...
The 2 working ones are Canon EOS 5 (analog) and Sony DSC-W5 (digital).

Blah, I wouldn't call a cell phone's camera a photo camera ~_~

I'm really not that special.
I have aaaa : Casio EXILIM 7.2-Megapixel Digital Camera (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7868042&type=product&id=1142301545990) (it's blue~)
08-31-2007, 10:25 AM
Well I currently have a Nikon CoolPix L4, its not the best camera in the world but its good for random pics.
I know I have a more professional camera somewhere at home, and plan to look for it this weekend and finally get around to using it [since heres now a forum to do so].
08-31-2007, 11:42 AM
I used to "use" a Sony DSC-P8 (it's lying in a drawer), but now whenever I feel like shooting something I steal stuff from friends.
08-31-2007, 05:30 PM
I have no camera, wish I did though. I love nature, and I hope to see some beautiful photos in this new gallery ^^
08-31-2007, 06:56 PM
Ooooo what fun.... I have a KODAK EASYSHARE CX6445 Digital Camera, kind of a older model I got back in 04. I'm going to upgrade soon. Any suggestions?
Also I have a Canon XL1.
08-31-2007, 07:00 PM
I have an Olympus SP-55OUZ with x18 optical zoom. It's the same camera I took pictures with in my "Behind-the-scenes with Bucky" thread.
08-31-2007, 07:20 PM
I actually just bought a camera today, so I can take pictures of whatever when I'm at uni. Mostly just to give myself something to do other than study, draw, and work out. It's a Nikon Coolpix L12.
08-31-2007, 07:59 PM
I have a Nikon Coolpix L11. 6.1 MP
Its fine for what I use it for, which is just pictures for when I'm with friends or on vacation or whatever. But I've taken some neat pictures with it. Now that we have a photography section I'll probably be taking more!
08-31-2007, 10:27 PM
Heh well my current camera is a Canon 30D, most of my shots are taken with a 24-105L f/4 IS lens, but I have a bunch of other lenses on hand also depending on if I know what I plan to be shooting.

*steals Acey's camera* ... Man I want a DSLR one ... they are damn expensive here x_x;;
Photography ... That doesn't mean taking-random-shots-with-camera ... it means picking the right composition, right camera settings for the best quality you can make, as well additional correction in graphic programs. Well, I know that most compact cameras are damn limited (man I hate this x_x), but most of that can be corrected in Photoshop (or any other graphic programs).
As a comod of this forum, I'd like to see more quality over quantity ;)
Well, for now this forum is still ruleless .... lets say that pretty much the Dazzle Us rules apply here too ^_^;;

I have a simple Canon ixus 60 and I always carry around my phone, that way I can make crappy snapshots xD
I've had other cam's in the past, but what shall I say, I have slippery fingers..
And I'd love to have a better cam than this one, for instance a Canon 400D.
And I take random pictures and try not think about it too much, I like taking quick snapshots best. This way I can just pick and choose the best one.

I went for small when it came to my camera because I didn't want to lug around something too heavy. I use a Ricoh Caplio R4. It has very good zoom for its size (7.1) and many features to fiddle with. I hate digi cams that don't let you change the speed and such. >.<;
09-04-2007, 09:09 AM
Samsung something or another. If I knew where it was.. Digimax A 503!
09-06-2007, 10:39 PM
The ones I've already posted (and any pictures I've taken in the last few years) were taken with a Canon PowerShot A80. I loved that little thing.
I'm in the process of acquiring a Canon PowerShot Pro Series S3 IS (I don't feel I'm ready for anything beyond a point-and-shoot ^^; ), so that's what future pictures will be taken with.
Edit: I hear you Wizzy. I love Canon, but it's overpriced out here in 'stralia. My family is helping me get one shipped out here. So that helps.

Wow. Iggy Pop made a photography forum. Awesome. And since I'm taking Photography I as part of my semester, I'll probably be posting a lot of my projects in here for you guys to see before I turn them in, so I can redo them if everyone votes they wont get me a good grade.
Anyways, I'm using a Nikon N2020 SLR. Although I really want to try a double lens reflective. I have a wide angle and a tele lens, as well as the regular. I <3 my cable release.
09-18-2007, 08:24 PM
I feel different, lol.
I have an HP Photosmart E327v Camera. Digital, of course. ^_^; Its basically a simple camera. No zoom, nothing, which can be a real pain sometimes.
*Edit*: Actually it says it has a 4x Zoom. This is propesterous. ;_;
Eh, okay, let's see now... *feel left out*
I'm not really into the camera thingy though, and I don't really speak camera language... ^_^'
But somehow I gotta have one for my own, for my assignments, since I'm taking graphic design course.
So here's the detailing part: Olympus Imaging Corp., 7.1 megapixels, AF 3x optical zoom 6.3-18.9mm 1:3.1-5.9
As I've said it before, I dunno any camera language. I'm just typing what it says on the camera. XP
And I agree with Kaitou Ace and Wizzy. I don't simply shoot. I look for compositions and angles. Though I'm not into any photography course, I know a little about photographing.
Heck, I've done one of my assignments that I have to take a shoot for art stuff. And my lecturer was pleased that I manipulated the photo to a photo-feel like. XP

I have a simple point and shoot, Canon PowerShot A530.
I am in the process of getting a new film SLR camera, and a Digital SLR (which my pick is the Canon Rebel.)
I have several assignments from my Photography courses that I have taken, and will share.
I hope to see some great photography on here <3

Both are digital cameras.
09-21-2007, 09:41 AM
I use two, one is my sony ericsson's phone, the other is an olympus, which i dun remember the model for the moment. O.o Though i use my camera phone much more coz the digital camera is not constantly at home. XD
09-21-2007, 09:47 AM
I use a simple camera phone Olympus C-740 Ultra Zoom, and a Camera - Kodak EasyShare C-530 5.0 Mega Pixels, I like it 5x zoom, 45 minute record video. It's fair for me, i need to buy a new one though.
