After Seed Destiny

Is there a new Gundam series/movie released after Gundam Seed Destiny? When I was buying a Gundam Suit Model, I've seen one from a certain "Gundam Seed Destiny Astray". Was that the lastest Gundam series? Was the story of Seed Destiny continued in Astray, as it did from Seed? I'm curious to know--hope someone can help me out... tnx so much^^

Astray is the spin-off version from GS/GSD.. I'm a reader from animonster.. they say the next GS/GSD series won't released this year,, because Sunrise released Gundam 00 this year..

there's an OVA of Astray? so that means they've actually made and released an animation of it... do you know how many ep/part the OVA is? and if kira and the others are still included in the OVA story?...^^

sorry i dont really know, if i could remember correctly, there is a manga of it but not the actual anime, so i dont know if the main characters if GS/GSD are included nor the number of episodes. sorry

"Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73: Stargazer is a side story to the anime TV series, Gundam SEED Destiny. It is currently being streamed on Bandai Channel as an Original Net Animation. The show is directed by Susumu Nishizawa and written by Shigeru Morita, both staff members of Gundam SEED Destiny.

Taking place immediately following the Break the World incident, Stargazer stars Sven Cal Bayan, a 19-year old male Natural who is a member of the Phantom Pain special forces and pilots the GAT-X105E Strike Noir. It also features Selene McGriff, a 28-year old female Coordinator and a researcher of the "Stargazer Project" for the Deep Space Survey and Development Organization (DSSD).

The series consists of three episodes, each running at 15-minutes long. The web broadcast began in July 2006, with a new episode showing monthly. A DVD containing all three episodes as well as the two 5-minute long Gundam SEED Astray animated shorts was released on November 24. This DVD also contained a different ending for Stage 3 in which several scenes after the Phantom Pain attack are shown."

The manga Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E. 73 Δ Astray is a tie-in to Stargazer, and expands upon the technologies and organizations from this show. It is also the sequel to the Gundam SEED Destiny spinoff, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Astray.

I don't really think there's any plans for another series (though I could be wrong), but I've heard that they're supposed to be making a movie that will serve as a sort of sequel to wrap up the adventures in the SEED universe.

Gundam Seed Astray is the sideline story of Gundam Seed and Destiny.

It's main machines are the Astray Red Frame, Astray Blue Frame and Astray Gold Frame. All this machines were born together with the 5 Original Gundams - Ageis, Blitz, Buster, Duel, Strike. (According to Manga)

The 3 Machines are developed secretly by Morgenroete, Inc and are dated to be the 'fore-fathers' of the M1 Astray and the later upgrades.

They do not posses Phase Shift armor like the 5 Gundams as they were early prototypes.

It's story develops together before Seed and through Seed and end of Seed towards the Beginning of Destiny, Through it and till the end.

According to how it starts is when Lowe, a Natural, salvage the Red Frame when the Destruction of Heliopolis while the Blue frame is taken by Serpent Tail. And the Gold Frame Stolen by an unknown pilot.

The first Ship posses by Lowe's gang is the Marseille III Class (H.O.M.E) Until when they crash it into Earth. Then came the Cornelius Class (Re.H.O.M.E.)


Through the side story, Lowe encounters characters in Seed - Lacus Clyne, Arthrun, Andrew Waltfeld, Martin DaCosta, The Chief Engineer of ArchAngel happens to be good friends with Lowe's friends, the 3 Astray Female Pilots in Seed and more George Glenn!!!

Question like How Marin DaCosta survive and return to the Plant with Andrew Waltfeld etc... are in the Manga of Astray.

You will also see Yzak's Girlfriend for the first time and her story. (The lady behind Lacus Clyne @ the ending of Gundam Seed Destiny Special Edition.)

The Suits in the stories happens to be further upgrades of Ginns, BuCue, Daggers, and more Sword Calamity.

While continuously, the 3 Main machine also receive upgrades. The final version of the Sword carried by the Red Frame is actually made by the metal of the Gold Frame's Arm - which is the strongest element around.

*Spoiler:
-In Gundam Seed, during the Episode when the 3 Flagship left Coloney 4 or the battle of Boaz, you will see an unknown Orange Stripe Ship, Cornelius Class (Re.H.O.M.E.) at the background of the ArchAngel. That's Lowe's friends resupplying the 3 Flagships. They are not involve in the fight. The Cornelius Class was designed by Morgenroete and was docked along side the ArchAngel in Heliopolis. Which simply means the Cornelius Class is made to supply the ArchAngel Class.

The Newest Gundam Series is Gundam 00, Its to be release this year but I still don't know the exact airing date. there's a thread here that discusses the topic.

as for now there the GS series fan disc series & also GS is now 5 years old happy 5th aniversity GS series
