Come to think of it....during the end of the DBZ series and the beginning of the GT...Vegeta & Goku were on they'r late FORTIES-FIFTIES..but they don't look old at all! They still look young as hell..
But how??

You mean you didn't know that anime characters can't age??
Dude. You've had SO many examples. Ash/Satoshi from Pokemon, Sailor Moon, the list goes on and on.
Also, Vegeta has an amazing plastic surgeon from Cali. I'd visit him myself if I weren't so poor.
It's a Saiyan thing
Also why their hair "remains the same throughout their entire lives" (according to Vegeta.) Plot hole: Vegeta cuts his hair x]

All the other DBZ characters age.

The reason Goku/Vegeta don't apparently age is they are aliens. Cut them some slack. Also, Goku was dead for a good many years.

I completely forgot about Goku's death (3 deaths, was it?)
Artists struggle to keep the main characters the same, so I'm not surprised Goku and Vegeta haven't aged at all. It's one of those 'techniques'. Very minimal changes.

This is weird anyway..thats so stupid that at the age of 50..Goku looks like he's 25...this is ridiculous.
I wonder how's Master Roshi used to look like at his 20's.. They say he was extremely powerful at a young age.(and I think much taller too)..also how would've Goku look like at age of 120? O_o probably like Mater Roshi ^__^''

yeah, guess you're right. but it would be no fun to watch an anime where all the characters are complaining of old age traits :p XD right?

the reason is so simple that it is stupid. they are aliens and they age slower than everyone else. if u look at every alien that has come to earth has different raits that they age at.

Just think that their aura can sustain the youthfulness by regenerating the body cells~
And also, the fact that they can sort of die their hair to gold anytime they want.

Or how about they never age cause if they do the audience will dwindle cause how can an old man with a walker kick butt. Its so you, da masses, don't lose interest. Its a conspiracy, man.

Oh no!! they look matured at GT. Try to look at they're photos at DBZ & compare it to GT. They look old for me:)

:banghead:Think back to Dragonball, early on; Krillin and Goku, though supposedly 11 and 12 (?), both looked to be, at most, seven years old. Could it be that the great Toriyama (and his counterpart with the gas mask) simply is behind in showing their growth, decline, and eventual necrosis? I believe it to be so.
I'VE ANOTHER REASON WHY THEY CAN'T BE DRAWN OLD & RIPE, READY FOR FLORIDA! (http://www.animeforum.com/vbimghost.php?do=displayimg&imgid=18789)
LAUGH WITH ME!:cool::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::cool:
To debate the accuracy of aging in characters in a show that blatantly desecrates the laws of the universe routinely (albeit in an amusing manner) is a lil' strange.
Now I must depart; there is evil afoot near the Apollo 15 landing site...

Now, let's all remind ourselves of Bulmasorasrex (aka: Bulma.) Look how old she looks? She looks like she's about to k33l over any second. I mean, she obviously tries hard to keep what ever looks she thinks she had with the grass picking in DBGT. And Vegeta is definitely old - he shows it differently. Vegeta shows his age in his personality. Have you seen how cranky that man is? But, I guess Goku is exempt from the whole aging process. He's the same as ever. Part of me wishes he were still dead. But I think that they explained the whole aging thing at the beginning of the Cell saga. BUT, there is a loop hole in the whole transition between DBZ and DBGT. Vegeta grows a mustache. But at the beginning of the Cell saga, he said "a sayains hair never changes." But, does that include growing hair..? I wonder. \=

Works for me. I mean, Superman never seemed to age (in DKR, he's in his late 40's/early 40's, and he looks the same), so I guess the Saiyans work the same way.

in the episode titled "granddaughter pan" in english
manga book #42 (last one):
goku comments to bulma that she looks old
bulma freaks out and called saiyans freaks,
then vegeta explains that saiyans live in battle so they remain in their prime longer
during this goku is in his early 40's. vegeta and bulma are in their late 50s

Considering Vegeta and Goku aren't human, but saiyan, it's not that strange that they don't age at the same pace as humans. It would probably affect Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Bra, and any other human-saiyan hybrid in someway.
Chi-Chi and Bulma, if you notice, do begin to look older as the series progresses.

You see, first of all in Dragon Ball Z Vol.26(Dragon Ball Vol. 42) Vegeta explains that saiyans remain in their prime age longer than humans because they are a race built for battle and because Goku was dead for what 7-8 years so he didn't age because time dosen't matter in the world of the dead.:banghead:

i wonder that too, i think it might be because of how strong they are and their super sayan powers.
