I find most Gundam romances to be rather average, usually serving an excuse to mess up the main character.

But... there are some good romances in the Gundam universe.
Best Couple: Haman Karn and Char Aznable. (Chars Deleted Affair (manga) & Zeta Gundam)
Both power hungry Zeonites had a very strange chemistry behind their doomed relationship. Which resulted in many harsh words in Zeta Gundam.

Best Unrequited Love:
Draw
Bernard Wiseman & Christina McKenzie (Gundam 0080) &
Sochie Heim & Rohlan Cehak (Turn A Gundam)

Both anime had a couple which was doomed never to happen, both ending tragically and both really well done.

I wish I could like that one but the problem is, Relena annoyed me so much with her "HEEEEEROOOOO" and other acts of stupidity that I wished he'd have just stepped on her.:laugh: Besides the fact that she looks like a man-lady!
The only straight couple I liked for that series was NoinxZechs.

I haven't seen much of Gundam Seed but Kira and Lacus look pretty together so yeah...^^

I liked Athrun x Cagalli but after she almost married Yuna Roma Seiran I kinda lost the liking in the pair since it shows that Cagalli isin't faithful.

Yet another couple thread, yet another case where I must repeat myself.

My personal favourite couple is Shiro and Aina, they have the strongest love of all... no seriously, in G Generation DS Shiro gets a +20 bonus from being with Aina (other relationships give +4/8, rarely +12, the SEED ones listed in the poll are +8) and he gets an own "Hyper mode" called "Power of love" when Aina's HP drops below 50%, making him stronger than Kira (and I mean in SEED mode), which is simply hilarious. Fear the angry boyfriend!

Lol, okay if we leave out the game part... Shiro and Aina is simply one of the best Gundam relationships out there, they get a Romeo and Juliet-ish condition to start with (if Shakespear would have made Gundam, 8th MS Team would be his Romeo and Juliet XD), they got together under the harshest conditions and Shiro's undying will made him survive Norris (who is also one of the most kickass people out there, he should get credits just for not being another bishounen).

Second is Amuro/Lalah, because although they barely met eachother, they fell in love in a higher spiritual basis and the relationship held beyond death (literally, since being a Newtype lets Lalah's spirit communicate with Amuro all these years even though she died).

Third is Seabook/Cecily, even after the F91 movie where they are reunited, they continue the Crossbone Vanguard to save the day again! Hell yeah! I mean think of it, their love survived Cosmo Babylon AND the Jupiter Empire under Dougachi, they really deserved the happy ending.

o_O; Got a problem with these threads? They might take up space and crap, but you shouldn't complain. You've probably made these yourself in the past. Now I don't post much these days but I do keep track of the forums. There aren't that many these days from what I've seen. Does it matter? Nah.

Thats your opinion from what you've seen. Since you fail @ keeping track of forums the opinion is nil. It very well matters if you flood a board with repeating threads (=spam) or not.

I mean, they could have expanded her and Shinn's relationship more if she'd not died when piloting their GFAS-X1 Destroy, but I don't know it would have worked; she was really acting crazy at the time of the Battle of Berlin.

Haman and Char are meant for each other. :laugh: A bunch of idealistic that are willing to sacrifice a whole bunch of people for their noble cause.

That aside, I'm with B Gundam, Shiro and Aina from Gundam 08th MS Team, also I think Camille and Fa.
