Hey ppl, who do you think should be Athrun Zala's partner/love interest? I'm asking this because on GSD, he didnt end up with anybody, (unlike Kira who had Lacus and Shinn wound up with Lunamaria). the choices are listed so have fun playing machmaker for dear old Athrun ^.-

I think Cagalli should be Athrun's partner. In GSD, Athrun gave Cagalli a ring but Cagalli gave it back because of a arranged marriage to some she didn't like. So I say Cagalli sould be Athrun's partner.

I agree with j100 about Cagalli. Cagalli should be Athrun's partner because Cagalli was given the ring by Athrun in the early parts of GSD.

if im not mistaken, the ring that you're talking about wasn't worn by Cagalli on the later parts of GSD, so technically, he and Athrun are not engaged since she had to cancel that because of her "marriage" to Yuna Roma Seran

Besides, Meilyn saved Athrun's life when she helped him escape (using a very untraditional method of a cover up) and even risked her life to get him to a hangar safely (by setting an alarm to the farthest section of the base), doent that prove that she has the hots for Athrun (and im not even counting the times when they were in the minerva)?

But why Athrun chose Cagalli? Perhaps Athrun cared for Meyrin but he loved Cagalli so much that when Cagalli returned the ring, he felt sad.:)

Cagalli..! I hate Meilyn..! well,, not really.. but I didn't like her.. she just a girl who didn't know anything about relationship between athrun and cagalli,, and she likes athrun.. that's why I didn't like her..

for me.. athrun is just for cagalli XD

that just picture who created by fans that dissatisfied with ending of gundam seed destiny, but i really want its can be really not only athrun and cagalli but kira and lacus too (when they get married).
If athrun not choose cagalli i don't objection if athrun with meyrin, but i more like cagalli

I like Athrun x Cagalli but I think that she could have told Athrun that her father had arranged a marriage with that idiot. If you ask me, that wasent a faithful part of Cagalli. It looked more like she was playing a game with Athrun. So I'll have to say that I would like to see Meyrin with Athrun. From the start, she has been nothing but honnest with Athrun.
