Magur Wars: Houses in Peril
History:
Magick is what binds the universe, every living thing in this world. It also binds the beautiful world of Nelibrium. This magic keeps it’s existence in check. Nelibrium, or the Emerald Sphere as it is called, is a world rich with green grass, and dense forests. But it also beholds the most dangerous area, The Scorched Sea, a large desert that takes up 25% of the world. It is deprived of water, and most life cannot stand a few days in it without death.
Inhabiting Nelibrium are a bunch of races, Humans, Elves, Dwarfs, Warians, Argians, and the mysterious Xarbals. All these races live in this magical world, and actually most civilians learn to use magic, but there are also those who do not practice magic, which are called Mundanes. The Imperial Empire is nothing but Mundanes, Lucian Delacroix, the Emperor, despises magic, and he especially hates the Magick Council which was founded in 368 (Present time is 525.) Sadly in retaliation to destroy magic a civil war broke out. Those who practiced magic were slaughtered by a special group of Mundanes, who beheld a strange magic resistance. This group was called “Thorn”.
When hope of the Magick community seemed to diminish into a welcome of death, two heroes came forth, though both beholding very different views, and two different uses of magic, they temporarily allied with each other. These two Heroes were know as Harmold claw and Xa’Garath. With a small force, their magic overpowered that of the resistance Thorn members held and slaughtered those who slaughtered the magic folk.
After the Civil War had ended in 400 (Wiping out the Empire, thus the Magick community made it‘s own ways of law), Harmold and Xa’Garath re-formed the Council, taking in four other members. Sadly the views of these members did not agree, and small battles broke out. Then in 415. Xa’Garath disappeared and one year later a new man was elected to take his place, Zo Malacrath.
In 495, Zo died and a new man took his place, Aliester Sithis (New members of the council can be played by Rpers, five others are needed to lead the view of the other forms which will be explained later.)
Then finally in 525, after years of debating and political war, Aliester Sithis waged war on members of the council aligning with one other member. Now this war can only be won by one force/house. It is yet determined who will go down in history as the one who defeated all others. But, the House Wars grew into a Conflict between White and Black Magick, now only two of the six houses are really fighting like tomorrow is Armageddon. Sadly however, it has been noted that Originals, from the group Thorn still live. Yet it’s hard to tell them apart form Mundanes.
Magick alignments:
-Each Magick view is known as a house, and will be thoroughly explained how they view Magick.
House Windoril- White magic (Whi-Nissam Magur) - Whi-Nassam means To help in the old tongue. The followers of this how view magic as to be used for the good of mankind, now they do have spells which inflict pain upon those who rebel, but they rarely use it. They mostly boost up their own feats. On the Magick Spectrum, they are full white. In the House Wars they are allied with Wiccans, their arch-rivals are those of the Black Magick house.
House Woc - Wiccan. : The Wiccans are somewhat like White Mages, they say magic should be used for the good of mankind, by these magicians bring their Magick from the world of Nelibrium, they say everything has a life-force and can be called upon to aid in battle. On the Magick Spectrum, they are in the white area, but closer down to grey. Allied with House Windoril.
House El’Meni - Elemental Magick : Followers of this view say magic is always based on the four elements; Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire. They can use elements around them for aid in battle, they are a bit more ruthless than Wiccans and White Magicians, on the spectrum they are in the grey area; right in the middle next to Fro’Magur. They are not allied, they are neutral in this war, taking sides to both
House Frey - Free Magick (Fro’Mgur) - These magicians say Magick is used for whatever purpose possible and that Magick has no true form, shape or definition, it’s just there to be used. On the Spectrum they are next to Elemental Magicians, again they have no real place in the war, they take sides to whom-ever.
House Zion - Occult Magick : Followers of this form seek more to self-gain and communications to spirits, and summon up spirits for battle. They strictly go for rituals, and also know some magic to harm foes. On the Spectrum they are a VERY dark grey, near Black. This house is allied with that of Black Magick.
House Nocturne - Black Magick (Xig’Gararth Magur) - Xig’Garath Magur literally means Non-Ignorant Magick. They believe magic is used to gain power, hurt others and gain what they will. Necromancy, anything like that is under this category. They are allied with house Zion, and on the spectrum they are PURE black. Most followers of this are either cruel, or question if they do the right thing.
Races:
These are the Races for choice of the Rp that inhabit Nelibrium.
Humans: Pretty self-explanatory. They are the majority in few areas. They excel at being Merchants, but also are formidable Wizards, a majority of this race are Mundanes. Their Home City is Storm Grad, The Second Capital of Nelibrium.
Elves: The second Majority. There are two other brothers to this race, Dark Elves and Whi Elves. Elves however excel greatly at magic, and live longer than humans. Their Main town is Tel Nag, Capital of Nelibrium.
-Dark Elves: Elves that hail from a the Dark Forest of Nar’Sharm. Their flesh is either black or a dark blue. Eyes always red, and those who have hair either have it white or dye it. Most of the Elves who do magic go to either House Nocturne or Zion. Dark Elves HATE their Rival Brother the Whi Elves, but Dark Elves themselves despise all other races. Their home town is Ig’ Marx.
- Whi Elves: Basically the opposite of Dark Elves, their flesh IS snow white, and they are mostly “Good” Mages as they would say. They hail in the snowy peaks of Mt. Castroll mainly, but are also all over. Their home town is Dragon-Moon
Dwarfs: They are mainly mundane, but they have a STRONG resistance to magic. Why, either their mines have magic or they’re just lucky. Dwarfs excel as mundane warriors. They don’t really like Elves, OR Argians, but they are somewhat friendly with humans. Their home town is Zarg.
Warians: Or Wolf People, these People are wise, and noble. They reside anywhere mostly away from Society, making their own tribes. They have no big city to call home. They are also said to have an unusual ability to use magic.
Argians: Lizard-men. Most are wiccans or Fro’Magurs. They live again in forest, swamps or anywhere near water. They have no real city to call their home, like Warians they have their own tribes.
Xarbals: Most reside in the Scorched Sea, but this race are basically Shape-Shifters. They have no real form, but shift into what they wish to look like.
Concerning Mundanes: Those who are Mundane do NOT use magic at all. Weapons of this time are Swords, and whatever Feudal Weapons were made besides guns.

Tel Nag
Ig’ Marx
Dragon-Moon
