It took me a while to start to like Byakuya. First time I saw him I was like "WHAT THE... gay." (No I got nothing against gay people.) I thought he was a horrible person, but after a few 20 episodes I started to like him more =D
His bankai is now one of my favourites.

Ha ha! Yeah, I always remind myself that when he talks, it's also Shigure from Fruits Basket and K from Gravitation, so I can't think of him as the strern and serious "Byakuya" sometimes!

But other than that, he's pretty cool. Not one of my favorites, but still a good character. I mean, despite being such a..."poop-head" (for lack of a nastier term) about the entire Rukia ordeal...

HE REALLY IS A SWEET HEART AND I FRIGGIN' LOVE HIM! His story with her is so sad...really, but I love it! It's just depressing that he chose "the law" over the promise of his dead wife...:(

He's kind of annoying, but kind of cool, and the cliched Sasuke-like fangirl-attractor.
It was cool to see him put in his place by Ichigo, and these days he seems kind of weak. I'm pretty sure Grimmjow could kick his butt, plus he couldn't even beat Kariya Jin 1on1.

I would agree, i like him because of that attitude, i also like him because of his bankai- and his Senkei-Senbonzakuya Kageyoshi, 1000 cherry blossoms of brutal torture, that's what i like to call it but hey, i'm just waiting for the episode to come out in english.

He's alright. If i were to say something i don't like about him, than it would be that he's too serious. The good part about him is that he actually is a caring person even though it may not seem so from his seriousness. He's also really strong, and his bankia's pretty cool.
