That would be me. I'm a bigger fan of black metal. I know I can't pick favourite song, but I can probably pick favourite band(s).

Black Metal: Drudkh, Burzum, Diabolical Masquerade, Moonsorrow, and...Agalloch if it counts.

Death Metal: Death, Opeth, Lykathea Aflame.


Edit: I totally forgot to list Emperor, Enslaved, Darkthrone, and Windir.

DM = I like all of the subgenres but tend to favour the technical and brutal ones over the melodic types.

Favourite DM bands : Nile, Behemoth, Cryptopsy, Decapitated.

BM = My favourite genre. I like both the traditional and symphonic variants.

Favourite BM bands : Emperor, Enslaved, Windir, Immortal, Darkthrone, Burzum, Enoid . . . . the list goes on.

thats just some in total from collecting the last six years i have 1,894 bands on my computer

Immortal, Summoning...and the list goes on and on
...but no one mentions the mighty Temnozor!!
...not a big fan of death metal even if Carcass are cool
