In the episode where Byakuya came to take Rukia back to the soul society, he said Ichigo looked a lot like "him". Who's he taking about? I have seen every episode and it hasn't been mentioned again.

Thier was ep 42 i think where Byakuya and ichigo meet again. Ganju is almost killed. By Byakuya. Ichigo shows off his new power. Jushiro is like. "Could that be....... Byakuya is like. " NO he is not him. my senior."

I think they're talking about Kaien.
Which would explain Ukitake's shock and the fact that Byakuya blamed Rukia's compassion for him on it.
